Sage was just as excited as Mari was, though he had to deal with getting chaos to someone who'd know how to handle the rather... rambunctious animal. He was prancing around sort of like a racehorse would before a race....knees flying and head high with flared nostrils. He was snorting too, but he could tell the animal was just excited and taking in everything around him. He smiled over at Mari on repsonse to her peck and comment, though, and nodded. "It's not him I'm worried about," he noted. "Let's go," he hummed after a moment, taking her hand and tugging her along happily up to their room.

Mari gave a small chuckle to him... she horse would of couorse be fine, but she also meant the staff would be fine handling him. Well, hopefully, anyway. She grinned when he started tugging her along... their bags would be dropped off to their room, which was sort of below decks because they'd booked the cheapest rooms they could find. They got to their room soon enough though, which was sort of cramped... but it was just the one night, so she was more than sure they'd all be fine. It wasn't like they'd be in there all that much, anyway.

Sage paused for a moment once they reached the room, sort of just looking around happily. It was a sort of small room....but it was nice and cozy. It was well lit, with a few windows open so the sea breeze lingered in the air. He rather appreciated that, since his claustrophobia probably wouldn't have appreciated a space this small with no windows or natural lighting. It was clean though, and when he set the bags down in the corner and immediently went to hop on the bed to see how comfortable it was, it was probably one of the nicest ones he'd ever seen. It made sense, he supposed, since this was a rather nice steamboat. Expensive too...but they dould splurge a little bit. They'd had a good couple of years. He sort of moved to kick his shoes off, letting them roll across the floor as he sort of moved around to peer into the bathroom, and closet, and look over the mini kitchenette and go through all the cabinets. He felt a grin on his face when he noticed the set of butcher knives in one cabinet, and grabbed the two biggest one with a sort of giggle, like a child getting a new toy. "Look at these things," he crowed, whirling around to wave them in the air and show Mari. Maybe it was a bit silly, but the whole reason they'd left was to be a bit silly. To act like kids again for a bit. So he figured it would be fine.

Mari watched Sage get comfortable before going to look out the little oval window... they were pretty much under the sea now, and it was pretty cool to look at. It was a small place, but admittedly a very nice one... it was one of the cheaper rooms, but to compared to normal, it was pretty nice. She turned her head when he hollared, but sort of flinched when she saw him waving knives around, she then kind of chuckled to him. "Be careful," she mused lightly before flopping down int he bed... which she going to be a water bed. And man, was it comfy. She grinned over at him after a moment. "This is so cool," she giggled happily.

Sage sort of cackled when Maris eyes widened when she noticed the knives, and he set them down on the counter with a chuckle in response to her comment. "it is very comfy," he mused lightly. He wandered over to the bed after tossing the knives onto the counter, crawling onto the bed and flopping down beside her a with a huff, suddenly really quite tired. "I'm tired and it's not even ten o'clock yet," he groaned after a moment, moving to the side of the bed that was closer to the window. He did hope she didn't mind him taking this side ....he was normally on the other side, but he needed the window by him.

Mari smiled over to him after a moment and sort of bounced a little, the bed sort of rippling. She giggled childishly and nodded. "It is," she chirped to him, sort of moving to peck his cheek lightly, she peered out the window, a grin across her face. "We've been busy. Tomorrow we can relax a bit more, once we arrive," she chirped happily. It wasn't even noon yet... but she supposed they could have a nap then look around later.

Sage sort of hummed lightly in response to her peck and then grinned over at her with a nod. "That's fine with me," he chirped. "I hear the buffet is really good," he pointed out with a shrug. He didn't really care where they went, as long as they rested for a bit first. He moved to crawl over next to Mari, peering out of the little round window and tooking out at the water. "The ocean never ceases to amaze me," he sort of thought out loud, just finding the all of it just super cool. And cool looking too ....no doubt he'd find use for lots of paintings to do back home. He'd brought some drawing things with, but not a lot of painting stuff. He figured that would be best.

Mari grinned over to him after a moment and gave a small nod. "It's meant to be. And there's intertainment and everything going on too... not that I'll actually be awake for much of it," she giggled, sort of bouncing on the bed again, really just finding it amusing that it moved the way it did. Mari cocked her head a bit to look out the window, they were starting to set off now, the shadow of the dock just getting further away. "I've only really seen it on our honeymoon," she noted with a bit of a chuckle. "But it is cool. Sorta scary though, too, no?" She asked lightly.

Sage chuckled lightly and nodded. "If we paid this much for it, it better be," he noted before shifting to make a bit more room for Mari as he peered out the window. "I dunno. It's more...mysterious I think," he hummed after a moment, in repsonse to her comment. "When you think about it, literally anything could be scary. You could just be walking along and trip on a pebble and fall and crack your head open," he noted with a shrug. Maybe that was bit too casually said, but he did that a lot... casually saying things that probably shouldn't be so casual. Whatever. "You just can't think about it like that," he added. "Imagine what kind of funky looking creatures are under us right now," he mused, peering put to see as much as he could, looking into the dark, swirling water that was definitely pretty deep by now, wanting to catch a sign of some kind of creature down there. It would be neat.

Mari huffed in agreement before sort of shaking her head. "It'd better be good. I'm actually starving now," she chuckled before sort of shaking her head. She pouted at his comment before kind of wrinkling her nose. "I can see a pebble. I can't see more then ten meters out here," she chuckled before looking over at him with a playful grin, and sort of moved to shove him down with a childish giggle, and sort of loomed over him. "Well, I can see the funky looking creature under me now," she teased before rolling over and flopping on the bed. "I can't get over how cool this all is," she giggled happily.
