Sage couldn't help but chuckle along when Jora did, rolling his eyes at her comments. "Oh please," he snorted, though he knew everything she'd said would very much be true if it wasn't already. "Just becasue I spoil her doesn't mean she can control me," he added, protest light and voice laced with amusement. He knew if he needed to he could tell her no and not give in...though that was only if what she wanted to do could harm her in any way or soemthing along those lines. Othere than that, Jora's putty comment seemed pretty realsitic.

He threw Jora an amused look though, nudging her back. "Besides, you have me wrapped around your finger too, and look how well that turned out," he chirped lightly after a moment. That was pretty true too..he'd do anything for Jora. And she knew that.

Sage couldn't help but laugh in response to her comments, just grinning over at her and letting out a sort of amused yelp when she pushed him. "Not true," he protested with a laugh and shake of his head, though they both knew she was going to win this one. "Though I must say, you quite enjoy it when I spoil you like that," he added mischievously, grin spreading across his face. This was another thing he missed ..just messing round with Jora. Their playful banter always lifted his spirits up a little bit, even if they weren't really super low anyway.

Sage snorted softly at her comments, rolling his eyes slightly but not arguing. "Hey, I win fair and square," he protested after her next jab, giving her a sort of pout. In all truth, he didn't care who won. It was, admittedly, normally Jora... But that was ok. He just liked being there, spending time with her. Messing around. And if that meant he always got this ass handed to him on a silver player, that was fine with him. He hummed softly in agreement with her last comment, just looking around the first as they started making their loop back home. "I never thought of see this place again," he murmured softly.

Jora shot Sage a playful side-eye as he pouted, the corners of her mouth twitching upward despite herself. She could tell he wasn’t actually upset; he never really was. “Sure, sure. Keep pretending you care about the win, Sage,” she teased, not bothering to hide the grin now. “It’s not gonna make up for that embarrassing defeat though.”

When he spoke about not thinking he'd see this place again, she felt a brief pause in her chest. It was strange to be back here, in the place where so many memories had been made. Her voice softened as she glanced around. “Yeah... it feels different, doesn’t it?” she murmured, her gaze lingering on the familiar surroundings. “Funny how things come full circle sometimes. But I guess it’s not so bad, huh?” Her eyes flicked to him, a small, genuine smile forming.

Sage had settled the girl down quickly enough, humming quietly in response to Joras comments. "Sometimes change can be a good thing," he noted softly, watching their daughter curl up in her blankets. The baby had been a huge change....but a wonderful one. He wouldn't keep that change from happening. Not ever. He turned back towards Jora then, sort of lingering on the bedroom with a sort of smile on his face, though it was still somewhat mischievous. "Though, some things don't change," he noted lightly. "And I think I'd quite like to get back to our normal habit of you showing me just how much you love me," he added, eyes glittering. It was teasing, yes, but he was also sort of giving her the go ahead to start something more intimate, like they'd talked about. He knew she'd be cautious about overstepping, and his stomach churned slightly with nerves...but also excitement. He wouldn't know what would happen until he tried, he supposed. But he trusted her. And he did want things to go back to normal, at least on that sense between them. They didn't need it to love each other of course but....it was rather nice.
