I want you but I don't know if you want me and i'm scared I messed everything up between us. I'm scared that if you do want me i'll mess it up. I'm scared it'll end up like last time. "Yeah, i'm fine." He said automatically, flashing a smile. |

"Marco, I know when somebody's lying. You don't have to talk to me, I don't push. But, if you want to, I'm all ears." She stated, her hand lingering over his a bit longer, before she pulled away. |

"I said i'm fine." He assured, a bit heavier than he wanted, pulling his hand back before walking away, busying himself in something else. |

He nodded silently, muttering something under his breath in Italian: "Shit, knew I was going to mess it up." |

"Yes." He murmured, leaning against the counter as I met her gaze. "It's just....i've wanted to say this for so long but I don't know how to say it, because i'm scared you'll feel opposite and everything between us will go down in flames." |
