Sage sort of snickered in response to her first comment, giving her a grin and chuckled when she pecked his cheek. "maybe," he hummed. "Though I must say I do quite like to brag about you," he hummed lightly. He chuckled in response to her last comment before humming as if in thought. "Well I have to be somewhat good looking in order to score someone as sexy as you," he chirped lightly, still joking around, though there was a certain amount of flirty purr that he couldn't keep out of his voice anyway. Either way things happened, they'd enjoy themselves today, he was sure. Even if it was just laying around.

Mari looked over at him after a moment or two before moving to press a few light kisses to his lips. "You like to brag about me? Sage baby you have no one to brag to!" She chuckled lightly before moving to shake her head. It did amuse her. She didn't think he'd be bragging about anything, especially not her, but the thought of it did amuse her. The woman hummed softly in thought before resting her forehead lightly against his. "Well, I dunno... when I met you, you were in pretty rough shape..." she mused to him before moving to peck his lips again.

Sage chuckled in response to her comment about not having anyone to n breath about her to, humming happily in response to her kisses. "I have your family and the doctor. And the unwilling patient who get pulled into the conversation," he chirped lightly. He sort of chuckled and nodded in response to her next comment, humming in thought for a moment before shrugging. "Well, and dad fixed meet up," he chirped. "I wasn't on the verge of death the whole time to knew me," he joked. In all honesty he probably was, but he figured if she'd learned to love him while he was crabby and looking like that, then she could love him no matter what he looked like. He knew she would anyway, but still.

The woman chuckled lightly, and sort of moved to rest her forehead against his. "God, those poor patients..." she chuckled to him, sort of closing her eyes for a moment. "They're just trying to heal and you're probably scaring them," she teased lightly, knowing full well he wasn't scaring anyone. She sort of cocked her head at him. "Yeah... you sort of were on the verge of death the entire to, otherwise the doctor wouldn't have had me watching you, no?" She chuckled to him lightly.

Safe sort of chuckled in response to her comment about those poor patients as she'd described them. "I could be saying much worse things to them," he pointed out, rather amused about the whole thing. "I could definitely scar them if I really wanted to," he mused, not really putting to much thought into his comments so it didn't run the mood. He wrinkled his nose slightly in amusement when she mentioned him mostly being half dead. "No,the doctor had to keeping an eye on me because he didn't trust me but myself," he mused. Then he gave her a grin. "Of course I got this sorry of thing out of it so I can't complain to much about it," he added with a sort of giggle.

Mari sighed to him before shaking her head. "You don't want to scare anyone away," she teased to him. "Though, I don't think it particularly matters what you say, it's pretty scarring either way," she joked lightly to him. "Oh, well... that's a shame, hm? I just thought you wanted to spend some time with me is all..." she chuckled, a playful little out across her face. Of course, she was just teasing... she knew he couldn't exactly care for himself when they first met.

Sage sort of chuckled and shrugged. "I could scare someone just by zoning out in their direction," he pointed out with a laugh. "Resting bitch face plus scars equals people not wanting to talk to me," he added, finding it somewhat amusing of he was being completely honest. He rolled his eyes slightly and then gave her a grin. "Well after that first night in bed with you I couldn't say no, now could I," he teased her lightly, moving to peck her lips lightly. "you were nice to talk to though," he added in a bit more of a serious note.

The woman rolled her eyes at him with a little chuckle before shaking her head. "It's freaky when anyone zoned out... I just think it's a bit intimidating when u do," she mused with a little chuckle. "Oh, plenty of people want to talk to you... well, until you do the whole glare thing," she hummed to him, pecking his nose lightly. She sort of gasped at his next comment, a little mischievous grin across her face. "You're sure it's not because you got me pregnant?" She mused lightly. She then sobered up and gave a little smile. "You weren't nice to talk to for a little while," she mused softly, sort of pecking his nose again. "You're maybe a bit better now, though," she chuckled lightly.

Sage chuckled lightly in response to her comment and then shrugged. "Well, if I don't want to talk to them they know it at least," he mused happily. He couldn't help but laugh at her next comment and smirk up at her, eyes glittering, in repsonse to her next comment. "It takes two to tango," he chirped, pecking her lips happily. "You played just as big a role as I did," he teased her lightly. Then he gave her a slightly more sheepish grin and nodded. "Somehow, I didn't scare you off very efficiently," he noted with amusement. "Maybe I wanted to get to know you but at the time my brain just refused to open up," he thought aloud before he shrugged and grinned again. "The doctor gave me an earful about being nice to ya pretty quickly though," he added with a chuckle.

The woman sort of shook her head at him. "You don't want to talk to anyone," she mused. It had taken him long enough for him to open up to her... and to be fair, she didn't think he would have if she didn't push as hard as she did. Or without the doctor telling him to. It did amuse her... if it wasn't for him, they probably wouldn't be here right now. She pouted at him and sort of flopped on her side, a little laugh escaping her. "I suppose. Still on you though," she giggled jokingly before going to peck his lips in response to his little kiss. She then huffed out a breath. "Hmm. I'm sorry to break it to you, but you're not very scary when you're bed bound," she mused to him. She gave a big grin after a moment, though. "Aww, that man loves me," she mused happily.
