Sage looked over at the girl when she reached for his face, but he let her move his head over, kissing her back happily when he realized once she was doing. He hugged her tighter when she curled back up again, just glad to still have this sort of time with her. He rested his chin on her head lightly looking out the window with her with a soft hum.

The girl gave a light smile when he hugged her in, and just buried her face into his chest when he rested his head on hers. She was just so peaceful. She wasn't sure why... but she was just so happy about everything. It was calm here... safe. She hadn't felt really safe for a long, long time now. It was definitely strange. She was safe at home, she knew that, but too much had gone on around them to really be considered safe.

Sage let out a light hum when Mari curled up again, and was just content to wrap himself around her snugly for a while. He sort of half drifted off at some point, just relaxed there with her, and when he came back to, it was a few hours later. He sort of chuckled when his stomach made a noise and he patted Maris back gently. "We should start thinking of dinner, babe," he hummed softly, pressing a light kiss to the top of her head. He didn't really want to get up....he was quite comfortable where he was at...but he was hungry. So they'd have to get up and eat eventually.

Mari gave a small hum in response, still half asleep, but sort of nodded and moved to curl in tighter. "Whatever you say," she murmured softly, sort of moving to stretch a little, then rolling out of bed with a small huff of air. "Steak bites and salad?" She asked as she crawled out of bed and moved to put a robe on. When she got a reply, she gave a little yawn but nodded softly to him, padding out the door and to the kitchen to get everything done.

Sage sort of chuckled in response to her comments, humming in thought before nodding when she mentioned dinner. "Yeah, that sounds nice," he hummed lightly. He rolled over to let her up and then got up himself, throwing on something comfortable to wear....one of the robes they had there for them. It was definitely meant for a you get couple, but whatever. He wandered into the kitchen after that, planning on helping get dinner together.

The girl gave a small smile before shaking her head when he followed her through to the kitchen and started to help out. She chuckled and shook her head, sort of taking his hand and leading him over to the large couch. "Nope. You sit," she hummed happily to him, sort of gently pushing his chest back to sit down. She wandered into the kitchen to finish up... it didn't take long, and she soon enough brought their dinner back through.

Sage sort of let her take his hand and lead him over to the living room at first, wondering what she was doing before chuckling lightly and half protesting before agreeing and settling down on the couch. He sort of just curled up in the corner, happy to watch her bustling around making the food. Once she brought it over, he took his plate from her with a thanks and then chuckled slightly. "What was that all for," he asked with a twinge of amusement. He hadn't minded at all, he was just curious as to why she'd insisted he lounge around while she worked.

The girl gave a light hum in response to him, sort of just plopping down next to him. "I don't like it when you're in the kitchen," she mused happily, sort of shaking her head. She just liked to do things herself she supposed... "plus, you don't get to relax much," she chuckled happily. Well, here he had... they both had time to relax, but there was so much going on at home, that neither of them really got that chance. She smiled softly after a moment. "And you're also an awful cook," she teased happily.

Sage snorted lightly and shrugged in response to her commetn. "Well, I like your cooking better anyway," he noted with amusement. "We just lay in bed all day," he protesed with a laugh. "But I certainly don't mind sitting here for a while," he admitted lightly. Of course, at her comment, he stuck his tongue out at her, making a face in mock anger. "I can cook just fine," he protested with a sort of laugh.

The woman gave a happily little grin before moving to peck his cheek happily. "Yeah, and it's hard work spending all my time with you," she chuckled softly to him before settling down again. "No... no you can't," she mused to him. Of course, he could, but the thought amused her. "You'd ruin my cooking mojo," she chuckled, sort of waving a hand to him.
