The woman sighed and moved to press a softer kiss to his neck, then tucking her nose under his jaw. "I only spoil them because they're your kids... I kinda sort of love them," she chuckled to him softly. She nodded in agreement to him. It was a big place, and the little woods out the back would be lovely to see. "We can do that," she hummed happily to him before moving to peck his lips softly. "I want to have a look about anyway," she chuckled lightly to him.

Sage chuckled lightly in response to her comment, wrapping an arm around her happily, rubbing his hand up and down on her arm subconsciously. "They're great kids," he hummed fondly. "They both take after your happy demeanor," he added. He nodded happily when she said exploring would be fine. "Good, I've been curious what's back there," he admitted with a slight laugh.

The woman gave a small nod, and moved to peck his cheek, a little smile spread broadly across her face when she felt his hand on her arm. "They're fiery kids," she hummed happily, "just like their father. Not worst thing they could pave picked up from you, though," she added with a small laugh, sort of moving to pat his chest softly. "Come on. Let's go get ready then we can get out before it gets any later," she mused lightly.

Sage hummed lightly in repsonse to her comment, nodding happily. "they're great," he mused lightly before nodding when she suggested getting going. "Alright," he chirped, getting out of bed to change into clothes since he was still in just a robe. "Where do you want to start," he asked curiously.

The woman crawled out of bed behind him after a moment, quickly getting changed before chucking hum an apple and humming in thought. "I don't really mind hun. It's wherever you want, it can be your adventure," she mused happily. She really didn't mind too much , it could be completely up to him if he'd like it.

Sage changed quickly before catching the apple that was tossed his way, nibbling at it and then nodding in response to her comment. "Alright," he hummed lightly. "We can make our way around the property," he mused after a moment, finishing the apple as he wandered out of the bedroom and tossing the core away, getting a water bottle for the two of them and then heading out. He hadn't bothered to grab shoes...it was sandy most of the time, and he just liked barefoot better.

The girl sort of cocked her head at him then gave a happy little smile when he decided they'd just make their way around the place. it would be nice, she knew that much. She hummed softly for about ten minutes once they'd gotten out, then glanced down to realise that he was actally barefoot. She chuckled lightly before shaking her head. "Sage your toes are out!" She squaked with a bit of a chuckle.

Sage gave the girl a grin once they'd headed out, taking her arm and leading them down and around the house and into the woods, where there was a sort of half trail of sand winding down and around the trees that were there. He was content to just peer about in the silence, though when Mari spoke up about his being barefoot, he sort of chuckled and shrugged. "I don't like shoes," he half whined....it was a pretty common whine too, he supposed. If he could go barefoot, he was going to do that. "Besides, it's not like I'll step on anything sharp out here. It's just sand and a few sticks and leaves," he mused lightly.

The girl sort of laughed before shaking her head at him. "Such an odd man," she treased softly to him before moving to peck his cheek happily. "I suppose if you can do it then there's not an issue then," she hummed lightly to him before moving gently kick his foot as he was about to step back down. It did amuse her, quite a bit. He was certainly a bit strange, but she couldn't love him any more for it.

Sage chuckled lightly and gave her a grin. "Yeah, but you looooove me," he hummed, pecking her on the cheek before she moved to kick his foot gently, chuckling slightly at the movement. He nodded lightly in response to her comment, shrugging after a moment. "Just used to it I guess," he hummed before bouncing off to peer over the edge of a ravine, where the waves were crashing up and into a little pool sort of thing. It was definitely a couple feet deep, and had fish and crabs and stuff in it. It was interesting, he could admit, especially with it being in the middle of the woods. "Look at this," he sort of chirped to Mari, who hadn't ran ahead with him when he'd taken off.
