The girl turned her head to him with a little bit of a gasp. "Nooo, I don't want to loose you for a whole year!" She complained with a small sort of half chuckle... she knew that wouldn't be the case, she knew that, but it really did amuse her. Plus, she was sure his new drawings would be absolutely amazing, espacially if he caputred it attl just right... with the sub poaking theough the trees, the sandy floot, or even the cliff with the waves thrashing against it.

Sage chuckled lightly and turned to flash her a wide grin. "Hey, I can't disappear completely...you still owe me a back rub," he chirped, really just teasing her a bit. Though, it was true....and he knew he'd get it, probably that night, but he could still mess with her. He figured it was sort of part of the job, really. She'd moved away from her brothers, so now it was his job to tease her. Though, he figured hew as a bit nicer about it at times. Her brothers loved her, though, he knew that. Whatever. ..he just liked to mess with her. Bit.

The girl gave a bit of a groan before shaking her head. "Oh, god, is that all you want from me?" She asked with a bit of a pout before sort of moving to nudge his shoulder with a small chuckle. "I don't need you to boss me around about backrubs of all things," she teased with a bit of a laugh before moving to gently pat his back. The sun was starting to set now, and while this was all just so gorgeous, it was a bit unsettling to be in the middle of nowhere at night. "But I suppose if we go home and you make me some dinner then I might willingly give you one," she chuckled softly.

Sage chuckled slightly and gave her a grin, pecking her cheek as he bounced past her to peer off into the trees. "Maybe sometimes," he teased lightly before squinting up at the sun, which had already started to set. He had to admit he was rather reluctant to go back inside, but it was getting dark, and he supposed he was hungry. He glanced over at Mari and hummed as if thinking before nodding. "I suppose I can stand to do that," he hummed. "I think my brains taken in enough from one eyeball to fill its own ocean anyway," he grumbled, though he wasn't actually upset about any of it.

The woman watched him bounce off with a light smile across her face. She really did just love seeing him happy about things. She looked over at him with a bit of a grin when he came back over and pecked his lips happily. "That means lots of pretty pictures will come out of you then, hm?" She asked with a bit of a chuckle before sort of moving to loop her arm back through his as they walked back to the house. It was gorgeous... the moon was out, just over the sea, reflectinig in the ripples of the water. It was beautiful.

Sage hummed lightly with an eager nod, grinning as he thought of all the things that were in his brain as of right then. "Lots and lots fo them," he chirped excitedly, his grin only growing when he noticed the moon coming out over the ocean. That was another thing to add to his list. He sort of stopped and looked out over the ocean for a few moments, sort of just...thinking. There was something rather solemn about it all. He wasn't sure why...but it just was. Soon enough though, he reminded himself they were off to eat dinner, and he looked over to the house where Mari was waiting, a smile coming over his face again at the sight of her. He bounced inside soon after that, glad the windows had been open all day.

The woman sort of stood in the doorway as she waited for him, a small smile across her face as she watched him admiring the scene. She could see his brain ticking as to how he'd paint everything, how long it would take and the likes... but it really was nice to see. She smiled when he bounced over, flashing him a bigger grin as she closed the doors behind him. She padded into the kitchen behind him, and sort of moved to perch on the counter top as he found everything out. "What you making?" She asked with a small hum.

Sage sort of sorted through the food in the fridge and cabinets for a moment until he'd decided what sounded good. He flashed Mari a grin when she asked what he had his mind on and waved a packet of seemingly fresh shrimp around. "I figured seafood would work," he mused lightly. Of course, he'd add butter and probably some garlic and sea salt to it for some more flavor, but she'd get the gist of it. It was nice and quick too, but definitely good. They didn't normally get shrimp back at home either, since it was rather expensive where they were at.

The woman gave a happy little grin after a moment before shaking her head. "Sounds wonderful," she chirped happily to him before moving to peck his cheek happily where she was sat. She never really ate seafood... she wanted to, all the time, but to even get nice salmon they had to get closer to the sea. Otherwise it was just all old. She watched him cook happily, though, taking a plate when he finished off.

Sage was more than happy to wander around the kitchen, sort of just setting something nice up for Mari. He had plenty of energy, so he still sort of half bounced around as he cooked, though soon enough the food was done and he handed a plate off to Mari before settling himself down at the table next to her happily. He was hungry, he supposed, and now that he sat down some of his energy was starting to wear off. It made sense he supposed, as it was getting rather late by then. That was alright though....he'd have to wind down before he could sleep.
