Sage chuckled softly in response to her comments, though it quickly turned into a full out laugh when she mentioned the socks. "I toss them to the hamper," he protested. "If they don't go in that's not my fault," he chuckled. It was pretty much the same argument as always, which was why it was rather amusing, he supposed. He hummed lightly when she said he was tipsy and shrugged. "still not right in the head," he mused. "but you were pretty sexy all mad on my behalf like that," he added with a sort of mischievous giggle. When she mentioned her mother, though, he chuckled and shook his head. "Have you seen the way she keeps her house clean," he protested. "she's definitely picky," he noted in a fond tone of voice.

The woman rolled her eyes after a moment before shaking her head. "Okay... well, why don't you actually put them in the hamper? That would be pretty helpful, no?" She asked with a little laugh. She soon enough moved to peck his lips with a happy little grin,. "Maybe not, but you knew what you were saying," she giggled softly to him, sort of going to pat his cheek with a smile. "Sage, handsome, you understand that I care about you soooo much. I get a little mad any time I see some other woman on your lap," she chuckled lightly to him.

Sage groaned, letting out a kind of chuckled in response to her comment. "They're sort of in the hamper," he protested with a sort of laugh. "I'm getting in the shower, not playing basketball," he snorted, kissing the girl back when she moved to kiss him again, giving her a sort of grin and shrug. "sure," he admitted. "But it loosened my tongue quite a bit," he mused. He chuckled in response to her comment, rolling his eyes slightly. "Well, I couldn't imagine why you'd ever be upset about that," he mused in a rather sarcastic manner, definitely enjoying himself.

The woman groaned and sort of moved to poke his side with a laugh. "Well, babe, I need you to understand that if they're sorta in the hamper they are NOT properly in the hamper," she chuckled softly, then looked up at him with a pout. "It's a good thing you're not a basketball player. You can't even get your socks in the hamper," she mused lightly. The then kocked her head. "Awww, so you don't think I'm hot? It was just the drink talking," she huffed in a very teasing tone. She raised a brow at him and moved to prop herself up again. "Because you're my husband!" She mused softly to him.

Sage chuckled lightly in response to her comment, giving her a pouty that was quickly broken when she poked him, as he wriggled away from her hand with a sort of laugh. "It's close enough," he whined, like he always did. "Basketball is boring anyway," he grumbled, mostly to himself, but whatever. He huffed out his breath and rolled his eyes at her next comment though. "I think you're hot. The drink allowed me to say that loudly in a restaurant," he noted with a sort of grin. "As in, it gave me an excuse to say it," he added after a moment with a sort of chuckle. He chuckled in response to her next comment, sitting up with her and patting her back. "If you want to go we'd best go," he mused after a moment, glancing at the sun.

The woman just sort of snickered at him after a moment before shaking her head. "Well I'll tell you you're hot if you tell me how hot I am now and then," she teased him, knowing full well that he always told her she was pretty. "I like it when you say this stuff to me," she mused softly. "Yeah, let's go," she chirped, offering him her hands.

Sage chuckled softly and shook his head in slight amusement. "I say you're hot all the time," he huffed, a grin still spread across his face. He grinned over at her when she admitted she liked hearing that sort of thing. "so I can sort of flirt after all, what do you know," he mused, really just teasing her a bit. He took her hands when she offered them up, though, and hauled himself to his feet before grabbing some money and such and then taking her hand as they wandered out to town happily.

The woman flashed him a grin before sort of shrugging. He did tell her all the time, and she still got the most stupid little grin every time he did. She sort of cocked her head at him before shaking her head. "I know. And I love it!" She chirped, his next comment brining a slightly bigger grin to her face. "You're kinda sorta really good at flirting," she mused softly to him before moving to peck his lips happily. Soon enough, though, they were on their way to to town, which was already buzzing with life.

Sage sort of just chuckled in response to her comment, kissing her back and then giving her a grin. "Unless I'm actually trying to be good at it. Then it's cheesy," he noted with a slight laugh. "I know," he noted lightly as they headed off, keeping an eye on the crowds around them as they walked, not exactly nervous but....somewhat cautious he supposed. Though, he was mostly just happy to be there with Mari. "anywhere specific you want to try out," he asked after a moment.

The woman gave him a small hum at his comment before shrugging. "I suppose. I do like it when you accidentally say something though," she chuckled to him for a moment before moving to peck his lips playfully, "and you trying to flirt is sorta hard to watch," she chuckled softly. It was a nice little place, though. She smiled and moved to rest her head softly against his shoulder ad she walked next to him. "No, not really," she mused softly to him.
