Sage had sort of just chuckled and nodded in response to her comments, giving her his normal grisn in response to her peck. Though, when she said there wasn't anywhere specific she wanted to go to get their drinks, he hummed lightly and nodded. "As long as it's somewhat small I don't mind where we go either," he mused, looking around before looking over at Mari. "I can only see one end of the street so if you see one you like, point it out," he added quietly, still not comfortable with strangers knowing he couldn't see all that well. It was stupid, and he was somewhat paranoid about it, but he couldn't help but be wary of others, especially if he didn't know the area.

The woman gave a small chuckle before shaking her head. "We can go somewhere little, don't worry," she mused softly to him. She knew he didn't like anywhere crowded... but this was a holiday spot, so it would be busy, but she could find somewhere more mellow for him, she was sure of that. She looked around the street a little bit when he told her, and soon pointed out a nice little spot at the end of the street. It was sorta busy, but looked quieter than anywhere else... which would definitely be better for Sage.

Sage sort of hummed in response, looking around again, brain swirling with all the noises and sights. One eye really wasn't enough to take everything in sometimes. He craned his head to look to try and find what Mari was talking about, letting out a sort of aggravated huff when he couldn't quite make out much of the building. "Lead the way then," he mused, honestly just trusting ehr to have picked out something nice. He still got rather annoyed with his vision limitations...he'd grown used to it, yes, but he could obviously still remember when he could see with both eyes, and when he couldn't see something it did bug him. But he was trying not to dwell on that for now, and just be happy with mari.

Mari gave a small hum to the boy before gently guiding him towards the little bar. It was sorta loud, but looked calm enough. She glanced up at him, her brows furrowing when she sort of saw the distaste on his face. She sighed and moved to press a reassuring peck to his face. "Here?" She asked gently.

Sage followed the girl along, face softening when he heard her speak up and gave her a smile and nod in response to her comments. "The bar is fine, babe," he reassured her, walking along after her again once she kept going. He caught sight of the place soon enough, and it did look nice. It was a bit loud, but...well, it was a bar. It was expected. But it was somewhat small, and nice looking, and he did want to enjoy his evening.

The woman smiled lightly to him and cocked her head, just making sure he was definitely happy with it. "Sure?" She asked him with a small hum. Soon enough, though, she gave a light smile and and padded into the place. It was definitely cozy. She hummed gently and sort of moved to peck his nose before finding a nice spot that was sort of out of the way. She made sure that Sage was comfy before going to get him and herself a drink.

Sage smiled over at her and nodded, pecking her cheek lightly. "promise," he hummed lightly, settling himself in the corner of the booth she'd picked out, watching the other people around them just to sort of pass the time. Mari came back soon enough though, and he shifted so she could sit down at his blind side, as she always did. He had to feel around for the glass for a moment, but once he had it in hand he was just fine. He sort of just nestled against Mari lightly, more than content to sip at his drink and relax with her.

The woman sort of shook her head before moving to peck his nose when she came back, offering a big grin. "With any luck it should stay quiet," she mused softly to him before flopping down next to him, sort of letting him lean against her when he went to. "If you want to go at any point just let me know," she mused softly to him as she handed him her drink.

Sage chuckled lightly in response to her comments and nodded. "I know," he hummed. "I just got myself frustrated with myself, that's all," he added with a shrug. He didn't want her to worry he wasn't enjoying himself.... He absolutely was, and it was their last night so he wanted to make it count. He wanted to have some fun. So he was doing good best to ignore whatever was saying otherwise. And he wanted Mari to be able to have a good time too.... Not just worry about him. The drink was surprisingly good, too, which was nice. Edited at March 22, 2024 10:20 AM by NightClan

The woman sorry of shook her head after a moment before moving to peck his lips. "Awww, babe don't get frustrated with yourself, there's no reason to," she mused softly before moving to peck his cheeks softly. "You're wonderful, no need to be getting frustrated," she chuckled gently to the boy as she sipped on her drinks softly.
