Aria beamed and nodded. She was glad he understood. "Are you sure you're okay with it? I mean... I didn't think you would be ready quite yet." She chuckled. "Yeah, I would prefer to wait too. It would be safer than having a bunch of guns and knifes around me, being pregnant." She mused slightly. The girl smiled and kissed his forehead softly.

Sage smiled and nodded, squeezing the girl slightly. "I want us all to be happy," he hummed lightly. Then he chuckled slightly and nodded. "Waiting would be best. Hopefully this all settled down quickly." And hopefully, he'd still be alive.

Aria smiled and nodded excitedly. She hoped he would be okay. "It will be fine. I promise. Me and Caroline will be safe inside the castle. I've been trained by you." She joked, remembering when they first met.

(Maybe we could have them wake up, and the war started?)

(yeah, the castle could be attacked or something)

Sage smiled over at the girl and nodded. "I know," he hummed. "But I still worry," he sighed. "There's no telling how this will turn out." By making her his wife...the queen...he was putting her in a lot of danger. He was sort of mad at himself for that, but he needed her by his side.

(okay! Sounds good!)

Aria nodded. "That's alright. Love you." She said, drifting off to sleep. She was very tired.

Sage was going to respond, but by then Aria was already asleep, so he was more than content to just curl around her and fall asleep himself. He was tired too, and he supposed he could use the rest.

Aria woke up the next morning. She got dressed for the day and went to grab Caroline. The little girl was crying, and Aria tried to calm her down. "Want to go see daddy?" She asked before hearing loud noises outside. She noticed all the gaurds were gone. Oh no. Sage! The girl ran into their room. "Sage!"

Sage had woken up to gunshots outside their bedroom window. He didn't see aria, so he immediately ran to Caroline's room. Thankfully, he saw his family safe, and grabbed aria, running over to the spot he knew she'd be safe. "stay with the guards," he told her quickly. He pecked her on the lips. "stay safe." Then he ran off to fight.

Aria nodded. Tears filled her eyes. "Sage..." She drifted off. "Be safe..." She whispered. The girl wrapped her arms around Caroline. They hid in a closet in the hall. No one would look there... she hoped not anyway.

Sage worried about them ...but he had to go lead their army. That was what would help them most ..driving the enemy off. He hopped into chaos quickly, grabbing a sword and galloping off with the rest of the guards he had with him to the surrounding fields where all the fighting was taking place. He couldn't let the enemy troops near the castle ...he wouldn't let them in.
