The woman sort of hummed, half heartedly looking through the papers. She looked over at him after a moment, giving a s small chuckle. "Well, I suppose he didn't need to remind either himself or you of the bad bits," she picked up a pretty drawing of Chaos, "and he'd rather remind you of all the good things," she mused softly to him. She furrowed her brows softly before moving to peck his lips. "Just rest, yeah? I'll look for the nothing that we're looking for," she hummed gently to him. She wasn't sure what she was looking for... however, she was sure she'd know whenever they'd found it.

Sage felt a sort of smile creep over his lips and nodded when she said the doctor probably hadn't wanted to remind anyone of the less than stellar bits of Sage's life. "I have to admit, I was a little bit nervous as to what pictures would show up in here," he admitted with a sort of almsot nervous laugh. Though he nodded lgihty as she went on, smiling when he noted the drawing. "Yeah," he agreed before sighing and nodding when she told him to rest. "Help me back to the bed," he asked with a slight wince as he moved to shift positions, his chest protesting the movement. "I think I'm gonna pass out again for a while," he added tiredly.

The woman gave a small hum to him before shaking her head again. "You shouldn't have been nervous for the things you made," she mused, sort of offering him her hand. "Come on then," she hummed gently to him. It was a little painful watching him wander over to bed. She sighed gently before moving to press a light kiss to the space between his eyes. "Pass out then," she chuckled gently to him before going to look through his old things again. She sort of moved to set all the pencils, brushes and paints in one corner... then the drawings of people together, then the animals in their own pile.

Sage sort of hummed lightly in response to her comments, shrugging slightly. "There were some things I've drawn I could go my entire life without seeing again," he noted. He still thought about them sometimes, of course, but still. He gave her a tired, almost drunken looking grin once they'd gotten him settled in the bed, passing out rather quickly once she had gone back to peering through things. The woman shook her head before looking towards the piles she'd soon sorted out. Sage could look though it all alter. She didn't know what to look for, and to be honest, she felt weird about looking though all his old stuff. After about half and hour before looking over at her husband as he slept. It was sweet, but she just wished he could be... healthy, at least a little bit for once in their life together.

Sage stayed in a deep sleep for a while, though maybe three hours later or so, he stirred again, stretching slightly before settling down in bed again lazily. "Find anything interesting," he mumbled over to Mari, who was still seated by the desk. "Or were you too distracted by my beautiful face to look any more," he teased her gently, a soft grin crossing his face. It was good that he had his humor back, he supposed...he knew Mari had been worried. Was probably still worried. But he was his normal self, just....tired. Sore. But he'd get better....he had to.

The woman sort of zoned out a little after a moment, kind of just watching her husband. He was so peaceful, so quiet... he was flinching every now and then, and she couldn't help but wonder if he felt as peaceful as he looked. She sort of jumped at the sound of his voice before furrowing her brows and giving a sheepish smile. "I found some things... but to be fair, I didn't look too much into any of it. It felt like I was reading you mind and it felt wrong," she mused, kind of cocking her head. "But then I finished with that and couldn't help but stare at your gorgeous face," she mused lightly.

Sage sort of grinned over at the girl lazily when she spoke up, rolling over slightly to prop himself up a bit on his side so he could see her better, as that side of the room was more towards his blind side. He hummed lightly when she said she hadn't gone too far in depth with everything before grinning over at her. "Oh good, glad my gorgeous face could entertain you," he joked, flicking his hair out of his face again before it fell back over his face again. He let out an aggravated huff and flopped back over on his back. "Can you ask the doctor for a hair tie or something," he groaned. "It's driving me nuts."

The woman gave a small chuckle before moving to sit on the side of his bed. "I've been staring at your handsome face for a while so I suppose you're very entertaining to look at," she mused lightly before pecking the tip of his nose playfully. She then nodded lightly to him before moving to get a couple of hair bands from the doctor. She gave a small chuckle before hopping over to her husband and patting her chest for him to lean on. "Let me play with your hair," she giggled happpily to him, really just wanting to entertain herself.

Sage sort of chuckled lightly in response to her comment, grinning over at her when she moved to sit down on the edge of the bed. "Well I can't say I haven't admired you while you've slept, " he chirped before thanking her when she came back with the hair ties, sitting up with a sort of groan when she asked him to. He had no issues curling up and letting her run her fingers across his scalp or through his hair though....it did feel nice.
