Double nibbled at the treats happily and swished his tail,flicking Fay every now and then,his ears were swiveling around as he tried to listen to everything that was going on,he noticed Brea's reaction to the dog and chuckled "Hey,its fine she doesnt bite,much" he said tilting his head at the small yipping animal before looking at Brea and Andre again

Andre placed a hand on Brea's shoulder "hey its alright,the dogs gone now,but i dont get how you're so scared of something you could smush under one of your hooves" he shook his head amused and took a curry comb to briefly groom and clean her,he'd do the full clean up later when they got back,the mare would probably need it considering all the mud there was

Brea was still uneasy about Sasha but she listened to Double and Andre, She snorted loudly and took a mouthful of hay. She had calmed down and listened to Andre moving around and grooming her coat, She was still excited for the trail ride.

Fay left Double's halter on and slipped the neck rope on him, She slid her hand into a part of his halter and led him by that. "There's a neck rope for Brea there" She gestured towards the neck rope resting on a hay bale before taking Double outside, She waited for Andre & Brea by the ranch's gates as they first had to walk to where the trail started.

Andre copied what Fay did,slipping on a halter,taking the neck rope and putting that over her head as well before leading her out with his hand holding onto the throat strap of the halter loosely "so what do we do first?" he asked turning to the girl and her horse who was tossing his head in exitement,Double was practically prancing on the spot,he really loved going out,bare back was one of the best ways to,it mean there want the extra weight of a saddle and it gave him what felt like more free movement,he nickered and shook out his mane but just ended up shaking up the braid

Fay looked at him, "Get on" She replied. She let go of the halter and placed her hands on Double's back before lifting herself up, She got a hold of the neck rope and got comfy on his back looking over at Andre waiting for him to do the same. She was glad that the gates were open so she didn't have to mess with them, They only had to walk down the road and to the right was the trail.

Brea was getting a bit nervous as a bit of fear set in of what dangers could be down the trail, She'd never done it before so she was scared. She was alert constantly looking at anything that moved even slightly and she would whip her head around to face it, Her ears swiveling around listening.

Andre pulled himself up onto Brea and found a good seat,his hands loose on the rope for now since a walk didnt require intense control but he could see the mare was nervouse so he kept a hand pressed to her shoulder as kind of a safety anchor to keep her calm

Double tossed his head again and smiled at Brea "hey,its gonna be fine,there arent even thorne bushes on this trail,you'll be okay" he grinned ready to get going

Fay smiled and made a clicking sound with her tongue to get Double going, She was happy to get away from stress and worries with a trail ride. Sasha trailed along beside them, She loved running along the trails with them.

Brea nodded in reply to Double, She felt Andre's hand on her shoulder which kept her somewhat calm. She spotted a murky puddle and thought it was a great idea to slam her foot down in it, Mud and water went flying up her leg and stained her coat. She nickered amused

Double set off at an energetic trot,he was raring to go,ready to take on the cold and muddy world beyond the gates,he picked up his feet to avoid the dog and also kick up as much of the water as possible,he laughed at Brea "see this is fun!" he tossed his head and picked up the speed

Andre yelped as cold filthy water splashed up against his arms and shirt,he looked over at Fay desprately "does this always happen?" he laughed slightly

Fay chuckled "Double loves the water too", Once they were out the gates she turned Double towards the trail. Smiling seeing how excited he was, Sasha had her tongue out the side of her mouth as she happily ran beside them.

Brea smiled, She broke out into a canter then slowed to a trot. She'd never done this before so she didn't know what she was suppose to do, All of her legs and tail were painted with mud from going through as many puddles as she could. She tossed her head a bit

Andre sighed as they kept on moving,it was actually quite relaxing,you know,apart from the fact that Brea now had an extra coating he would have to wash of later,at least the trail was calm,unlike the previous ones he had been on,maybe he could bring that up if they ran out of conversation "you'd think Brea would be over the cold and water after last night but no,bounced right back as always" he laughed

Double snorted and turned where he was asked to go,he wanted to get to the fields,that was his favourite part,he liked the open plains more than having to weave through trees "Brea,you dont have to go through all the mud,not yet,its better down by the lake" he grinned flicking his tail
