Dakota grinned. "From then until now, you've always been there for me. You always come back for me and help me with all the hard times in life." Dakota wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him. She laid her head on his shoulder and said, "I didn't mean for this to happen."
Dakota smiled. "When can we go home?" Dakota asked just as the nurse came in. "I'm sorry, but you won't be going home for a while. You... Have cancer." The nurse said. Dakota's eyes widened. "What... That can't happen! How?" Tears fell down her face.
"Lung Cancer. She's going to have to have kemo, so i'm sorry, but you won't have your hair for much longer." The nurse said. "Ughhh." Dakota said. "I'm going to die."
Jacob kissed her forehead and said "I won't let that happen to you" Jacob looks at the nurse and said " can you give us a minute I'll come out and talk"
"Sure." The nurse walked out. "Jacob. I want you to take care of the kids when I die. Okay? All I ever wanted was to be with you, and the kids. I'm so thankful to have you guys, so please... take care of the kids. They'll understand. Lung cancer is deadly. I won't live."
