Car loaded Anne went and turned on the car before walking to the back checking the lights on the float worked, she didn't need something so vital not working on a longish ride. Pulling her phone from her riding breaches pocket Anne unlocked the mobile and looked for any messages as she walked back to the drivers side of the car waiting for Jacob, She assumed he was at the ranch by now so tooted the horn twice. . Climbing in properly Anne put her mobile away and watched the ranch infront of the parked car awaiting Jacobs appearance from the structure, It was already 8:36 they needed to hit the road shortly. Jacob puts his tack away and ran to put bucky in the pasture then took off towards the car and open the passenger side door and got in then smiles and said "I am sorry I am late " hope Anastasia wouldn't be mad cause he was late , Jaco looks out side and through to himself " what a beautiful day to get the rescue horses ", Jacob yawns he really didn't sleep good last night but he was okay this morning,looking at his watch and smiles he was glad he made it on time . Jacob looks over at bucky who was kicking up his feet and galloping off neighing Jacob shakes his head happy that he had a horse and waited for couple more |

"Lets hit the road and get these horses" She smiled closing the door properly and adjusting her seat-belt on herself before clicking it into the car, Starting the car she began checking all the mirrors were in their rightful position and started backing out of the ranch. . Out of the parking Anne shifted the gear into drive and they started their trip to the auction, Turning onto a long road there was very few other cars but Anne enjoyed a peaceful trip not much chance of road-rage. |

Jacob looks out side then said " how many are we getting I forget " looking at her then straight ahead and smiles, Jacob starts to hum a little bit but not loud,Jacob looks at his phone checking the weather and news which he loves doing sometime I was funny to see what the news was up to today, Jacob puts down his phone and stares out the window board . Jacob was glad it was busy out and not a lot of car going by them from the other way and glad what there wasn't deer on the road anymore since it was day time |

Glancing over at Jacob for a moment she replied "Well I was going with only a couple but if there's more than that who really need a good home then we'll get more", Thinking on it she added "Our max is four anyway the float can't hold more than that" She frowned knowing just how many horses end up in the slaughter pipeline. Her aged mother used to rescue horses until one of them gave her an injury she could never really recover from, not enough to be able to handle horses so much. . Watching ahead as the road turned familiar they were only a minute or so away, Looking down at her watch the auction was probably just about to start. Turning into the parking lot there was quite a lot of others so Anne found the largest spot for the four horse float to comfortably fit before shifting the gear to park and cutting the engine, "Ready?" Anne spoke as she glanced at Jacob before undoing her seat-belt. |

Jacob said " okay that would be fun" then looks back out side and once they made it he replied " yes I am ready" taking his seat belt off and opening the truck door to get out and to make it to auction before it starts Jacob looks at Anna and said " you doing okay" . Jacob looks around hearing horses neighing a d people chatting to each other wondering who they are and if they would take good care of horses maybe or maybe not who knows |

Climbing out Anne grabbed the couple halters and lead ropes out of the vehicle, Hanging them over her shoulder Anne replied "Yeah i'm fine" giving him a quick smile before locking the car. With a pull of the door to confirm it was locked Anne started her way to the main of the auction already able to hear the chatter of all the different people, Glancing back to make sure Jacob was following Anne glanced over the few others also making their way to the auction. . Some of them looked like they meant well like themselves but others looked like they had some bad intentions for the horses, Taking her attention off others Anne didn't want to judge others too harshly by their appearance for all she knew they could be about to give that horse the best home of their entire life. Looking ahead she could see all the pens with multiple horses some in worse condition than others but overall they all weren't looking in tip top condition as expected for a last chance auction |

Jacob follows her then hums again trying to act cool as he walks towards the place remembering what to do and why they were there,Jacob said " okay but if anything is wrong you know you can tell me " looking at her then back at other people mostly he was judging their looks and hand moments he didn't want to get in trouble but Jacob was not the trouble kind but he could fight . Jacob looks towards the horses in the pasture and mostly some look healthy and some look skinny and sad but it mostly helps to go up to them and check them out themselves Jacob said " the horses look sad or trapped "painting at some but then looks back to make sure they were not being follow or anything |

Anne nodded to Jacob and focused on the horses around them, what caught her attention was a skin and bone mare with her head in the corner of the pen. She looked scared and had some wounds on her withers, "I'm surprised she's still standing" Anne mumbled to herself before walking down the pens looking at the other horses. So far that mare was the worst one she'd seen so far, she was grateful hoping that would give the horses a better chance at finding a nice home. . Anne just before she was going to make her way to the actual auction noticed a young yearling draft it looked well looked after but had a bad eye infection, once anyone saw the eye that seemed to scare them away from it. "Oh you poor thing" Anne sighed watching as the yearling turned his head to look at her through his good eye |

Jacob walks around and looks at the horses and came up to a warm blood gelding Gelding in the back of the stall standing there doing nothing then Jacob walks around again and then walks to more horses but mostof them looks good he was just looking for a horse that needed help or need a pasture for retirement . Jacob walks towards a foal that was skinny and scared of everything Colt Jacob sighed and leads against the stall door and waited to see if he would come up to her |
