Sage wasn't sure why she was so interested in everything he was talking about....but he had to admit it was nice. Nice to talk to her when she was genuinely interested in what he was saying. Even if it was just to get him to do something for her or....whatever bad motive he could think of. He shrugged slightly at her apology with a slight huff of air. "Well it's not like I'll ever get back," he commented, admittedly a bit sourly. He'd sort of accepted that fact by now....there was no way for him to get even out of the warehouse, let alone back to the ocean. "Even if I do somehow they'll treat me as a ghost now," he muttered. Then he wrinkled his nose slightly. "Not that I really want to be near anyone but Liz," he added. That was true too....his father was awful, and most of the village didn't like him either. Which was why he was normally on his own, trying to provide for Liz or hiding from his father.

Oliver slowly starting coming out of her upset bout of feelings. Her face returning back to a soft expression and a small nod, as he responded to her small apology. "True.." Oliver muttered in response. He was completely right, her father would no way in hell let him go back and neither could she set him back there even if she wanted too. She came out of her small thoughts as he began to speak again, just listening at the moment before deciding how she wanted to respond back as she wasn't really sure how too. Everything he said was perfectly true, there was no way for her to say it'd be fine or even give him a flase sense of hoped he'd see her again. After another small silence she just decided to change the subject "So... Do you have a name? I know your sisters but not yours" She asked with a gentle tone

Sage sort of lapsed into silence too, and was about to make the move to go under the water again before looking over at her in surprise when she asked what his name was. He knew hers.....so he'd sort of forgotten she wouldn't know his. He nodded slowly and looked away, debating actually telling her for a moment before deciding it probably wouldn't hurt to tell her. "Sage,* he said after a bit, shrugging slightly. Then he gave a small chuckle. "I know yours already," he added. Then after another small silence he sort of mumbled something about letting her get back to work before moving back to his corner. He didn't want their conversation to end on a bad note....he'd enjoyed talking and joking around a bit.

Oliver waited patiently for his response which she knew was coming otherwise he would've dived under like he was originally going to do. As he finally told her, she smiled a bit "Sage..." She repeated quietly "It suits you well" She murmured softly before chuckling a small amount at his comment of already knowing her name. "Yes, I better get going... See you at lunch time" She agreed with him before standing up and heading down the concrete platform. Oliver was happy with how the conversation had went and now she just needed to fulfill everything he had asked for. Which would be fairly easy considering it wasn't much.

Sage had nodded silently in response to her comments, moving to rest in his corner for a bit before going back to swimming laps around the pool when he couldn't seem to sit still. He didn't have a lot of energy, he supposed, now that he wasn't hunting and taking care of Lizzie and everything else. So he just swam in aimless circles. It was boring, yes, but so was everything else in this dumb pool. He knew it looked like a big enough space....but a village spanned for miles in the ocean, and merls travelled miles and miles each day to gather and hunt food and all the rest, so the pool really wasn't much space. But the laps added up, he supposed, if he just worked at it, so that's what he did, for hours until he heard a group of people coming back and he sort of slowed, moving along one wall as he watched them carefully. They were by the nets, and he wasn't sure what they were doing. He knew he said he wouldn't make a fuss about it if it was to fix some things in the pool...but was that what they were doing? He wasn't sure. And he wasn't going to not put up a fuss of they were nothing him for no reason.

Oliver made her way out of the warehouse, she was going to go to the market to get a few things readied for this afternoon and tommorrow. She headed out to the market which only was a 20 mintue stroll from the house. As soon as she got there, she strolled over to a market that was selling saltwater plants along with a small portion of coral and sea shells. Oliver didn't spend much time before deciding to buy at least 2 buckets each of kelp, seagrass, and red algae. Hoping that this was good enough for... Sam... No no, Sage. She instructed the owner to deliver it to the warehouse as soon as possible before strolling along into town and headed to a mulch and rubble store that was nearby. Oliver walked in and once again didn't waste a minute to get an order of fifty, 5 pound sand bags to the warehouse. As soon as she was finished there she headed back to the warehouse. Eventually once she got there, a worker took her back to where the buckets of plants had been dropped of. She nodded a quick thanks then started seeting up two weeks worth of meals for Sage. Once finished with that she took a bucket and walked over to the back of the warehouse. A skip almost in every step as she went up the stairs to the conrete platform. Admittedly she was surprised to see workers up there but just shook it off she went over to the pool for Sage.

Sage had sort of eyed the workers while they were there, and stayed slowly circling in the part of the pool the furthest away from them. It was almost a kind of nervous pace, since he wasn't sure what they were doing, and he didn't trust them. He felt like it was a bit too soon to have all the salt water and everything, though the girl was a hard worker and he wouldn't put it past her to get it here already. It seemed dumb to hope, but he recognized her footsteps after a moment and glanced over at her curiously, halting for a moment. Though, when he heard the nets rustle he resumed his circles nervously again. After what had happened last time, he was more scared than before....and any aggression at this point was more out of the nerves and terror than anger. Before it was switched. Now he just didn't want to deal with them at all.....he'd rather they just leave him alone. He still was pretty stuff, because of the shots and the concrete, and he didn't feel super great, but he hadn't felt great since he'd left the ocean, so there was that too. But he did figure the girl would keep an eye on what they were doing too. It was dumb to trust her that much, but whatever. He trusted that she wouldn't let them hurt him too severely or kill him....they needed him alive and healthy.

Oliver observed the siren swim in a small circle on the far side of the pool, at first she really didn't think anything of it. After a moment she then began to notice that the circles seemed more like he was pacing as if he was panicked or nervous. Then it suddenly hit her as she glanced back over at the workers who were near the nets. She seriously had no clue why those hard heads were up here and by the nets but she wasn't going to question it... for now at least. After a moment she decided she needed to get his mind off of the workers. "I bought some kelp, seagrass, and red algae for you. Hopefully this will better" She called to him before taking a handle full from the bucket and tossing it out to him. She watched him for a moment before hearing the nets rustle, she looked over at the men who were still messing with them. "Hey! What do you guys think your doing over there?" She asked sternly, finalyl loosing her patience with them.

Sage glanced over at the girl when she spoke, but wasnt all that interested in whatever she had to say right then....his focus was on the men and the nets. He was dimly aware of the handful of food she's thrown into the pool, but didn't stop his circles. He'd need to eat later anyway....but right now the thought of food just made his stomach roll more. He jumped when he heard her shout, and half fled to the corner of the pool before realizing that would bring him closer to the nets and making a turn on the spot and moving back to the corner furthest away from them, curling up nervously there.

Oliver kept her full attention on the men when one of them turned. "It's none of your business" The worker spat out at her. She gave him a glare "What do you mean? Your not supposed to be messing with the nets neither are you supposed to be up here" She informed them with a warning hidden in her tone. She was examining the one man that had turned to look at her, she didn't recognize him at all... -Must be a new hire- She thought before walking over to the men. "Leave this platform and go get to your jobs before I write you all up." She said sternly trying to usher the men away, that's when the other two turned and looked at her. At that moment Oliver realized she had no clue who these people were. "What the hell?... How did you get into the warehouse?!" She hissed out mostly being scared, as she was about to turn and yell for security, one man grabbed her by the arm and put his hand over her mouth. "I advise you to not do that" He told her, a dangerous glint heavily shining in his eyes. "Now we're going to get this thing and then leave. While you aren't going to do a thign about it. Okay, princess?" He told her with a even tone while the other two men finally got the net out. Oliver didn't respond but she knew one thing for sure, there was no way in hell she was going to allow these men to get Sage.
