Oliver rolled her eyes at the creaturs hissing but took his stillness as him choosing the safer option. She began to use a towel to dry off the scrapes that were all over her body, well the ones she coudl get to as the men were sitting on top of most of them. After a moment of trying to work around them she let out a angered huff "Could you all get the hell off it now! It's clearly chosen the safer option and I can't work with you all sitting on it" She spat out, as she shoved one of the men off of the merman, which the others froze for a moment before scurrying off. As Oliver continued to work she heard the silent whispers of some of the men calling her stupid or crazy for wanting to help this thing or wanting to be near it without having it pinned. After a moment of assessing the wounds, she began to put some numbing cream on the biggest wounds, while the smaller ones got anti-bacterial cream and a bandage large enough to cover it. Once the numbign cream had set, she prepped a needle and thread, giving the creature a glance, "This might hurt" She warned him before starting to stitch up the biggest wounds, starting with the worst and working her way from there.

Sage had tensed up again when the girl practically shoved the man off of him, and then more as they all piled off of him. He shifted his tail slightly and moved to prop himself up with his arms since his back was definitely hurting from being slammed against the concrete. He let the girl mess around with him...or healing him...or whatever she was doing. He sort of just sat there for a while, casting a wary eye on the girl as well as all the other people in the room. He hissed in surprise when she put the cream on the first of the wounds...it was surprisingly cold, and stung a bit, but it was more just the surprise than anything that pulled the noise from him. He snorted when she warned him it would hurt to stitch it up...well, it already hurt, so he didn't really care. Once she was done with that, and had finished, he used his arms to drag himself back over to the pool and slid into the water, swimming to the opposite end of the pool and staying there at the bottom.

Oliver finished up as quickly as she could, giving it one last look over before starting to pack up her things. When she finally stood up, she took a side step to give it enough room to get back in the pool. Once it did she walked to the edge to watch it with a keen eye, being extremely fascinated at the way it acted. After a moment she walked back over to her father but kept an eye on the pool "I suggest you turn the temperture down in the pool, it's used to the deep oceans cold water and not the warm hose water you used to fill it" Oliver commented, not really knowing how she kenw that but figured she got it from that vision just like any ther random piece of information she got from them. At her comment, her father nodded then walked away with a few men to go do so and the rest of the ones that were there scattered to go do other jobs, leaving her there alone on the platform

Sage kept an eye on the humans as they did...whatever they were doing. As long as it didn't concern him, at this point he didn't really care what they were doing. He sort of just stayed still in the corner of the pool to try and rest. Though, they started doing something to the pool, and that caught his intrest. The water cooled down quite a bit after a while, and after a few minutes of cooling himself off he had quite a bit more energy. He'd rested for a bit, and now he was curious to see what this new tank had. He started swimming around, looking and feeling and really just trying to get a feel of his surroundings. He was keenly aware of the girl still on the platform, but he doubted she'd do anything besides sit there. She'd helped him out, and even if it was to keep him here, she'd helped him all the same. And it would be a lot of work to haul himself up there to get at her even if he wanted to hurt her. Which would obviously be a bad idea. Now the older one...he'd break him if he got close...he'd break any of them he could. But for somereason, he sort of just dismissed the girl. Hurting her wouldn't help him at all...in fact, it would probably do more harm then good. He was hungry though, and there wasn't any food....though he was still muzzled, so he couldn't eat anything even if it was there. His hand travelled up to finger the muzzle since he couldn't see it, and scowled when he felt a keyhole on it. So he couldn't just take it off. Wonderful.

Oliver continued to watch the thing be settled at the bottom of the pool, her curiousity slowly starting to fade as money started creep into her mind. She wondered what her father would do with it and if he decided to keep it.. Well that wasn't going to settle well with her as she wanted more money so she could go off and get more things to fill the emptiness she felt in her heart, that the only cure was money. Oliver snapped out of her thinking daze as she saw the figures start to dart around the pool *Finally they got that temperature down* She grumbled in thought before turning and hearing the heavy footsteps of her father and two men. One of them was carrying a bucket full of clams, shrimp, seaweed, and such things, which she scrunched her nose up at the look of it "What is that?" She asked a bit snappy. "It's his dinner" Trevor replied while motioning one of the men to go fetch the creature and fed it, that's when she suddenly had a vision, her eyes dimmed once more as she saw the same man get dragged down and attacked by the merman in the blink of an eye as soon as the muzzle came off. She soon snapped out of her vision, blinking slightly in a terror of what she saw before rushing over to the man and pushing him aside "I can do this" She huffed as she gently started to pull the creature back with the muzzle it was attached too. Trevor on the other hand was extremely confused on why Oliver was acting so strange but he figured that this was just another set up to sell this merman.

Sage had continued to explore the tank, though there wasn't much to explore. It was just concrete, with a few painted lines on it. And it was full of water. That was pretty much it. Some sand on the bottom to sleep on would at least be nice, he thought with a slight huff of air. He whipped around to watch the men once they arrived, keeping a wary eye on them as he slowly moved back and forth. He let out a furious hiss when he felt tension on the muzzle, and he pulled back, whipping to the side as he tried to pull the man in. Though, when the girl took ahold of the rope, he hissed again but let her pull him upwards. He stayed under the water at the surface though, casting a nervous glance at the other men. The water was where he was safest, and the girl wasn't going to move him from here. He would have preferred to be at the bottom of the pool, but he didn't exactly have that choice right now, so right under the surface would have to do. She could do whatever she was wanting to do from here...he was close enough. Whenever she tried to pull him upwards, he pulled back firmly, though not enough to pull her in, of course. He wasn't that stupid.

Oliver was a bit confused at how easily the merman came up to her as the man before her was seriously almost about to get dragged in. As it came up she was going to reach for the key to unlock the muzzle but then it stopped. She pulled and tugged for a moment before grumbling a few words under her breath at the realization that it wasn't going to come up any further. Oliver let go of the cord to lay down on her stomach, going back to reaching for the key. "Oliver, don't let him loose, he can eat through the muzzle" Trevor spoke firmly which Oliver ignored and kept doing what she was doing "Well firstly, the muzzle is rubbing up against it's face and that won't be good if you plan on using it as entertainment to get money. No one likes to see scars on something so valuable. Secondly, not like it can grow legs and waltz out of here" She answered her father coldly, as she grumbled quietly once more having to lay on the wet concrete, she reached in the water and went to grab for the mask, having to take a few tries since of course the merman didn't trust her. After she got it, Oliver unlocked the muzzle, then slowly took it of the creature. She wasn't sure what to expect as soon as it was off but probably for it to swim away. Oliver then reached over to the bucket, grabbing a shrimp and a oyster with a scrunched noise. "Are we sure that it's gonna eat this? Wouldn't it like a steak better?" Oliver joked lightly before walking back over to the waters edge and tossing both of things in there for it to grab.

Sage could tell the girl was annoyed at him having stopped, which admittedly felt a little bit nice. If he couldn't hurt her, he may as well just annoy the living daylights out of her. That was probably just as satisfying, anyway. He flinched away from her hand when he noticed it in the edge of his vision, a hiss coming from his mouth at her efforts. And then again at their conversation. Was that what was going to happen? He'd sit here in a tank for people to look at? That was rediculous...and he was reminded yet again of why he hated humans so much. The girl, who was really quite stubborn, eventually grabbed him though, and while he pulled back fearfully, he forced himself to stay still so he didn't accidentally pull her in with him. It would be funny to see her fall in, but he wasn't too keen on getting shot again. His tail still hurt pretty badly, and he'd been really quite lucky it hadn't hit any other part of his body, as it could have been quite serious. Well, more serious than what it was. He was admittedly rather surprised when she took the muzzle off, though it was a relief. He wasn't sure why she did it though ...because now he could bite, or he could sing. It would only take a few notes to fall from his lips before he'd have her leaning over the edge of the tank, mesmerized. And then he could drag her under, and, well, kill her. After a moment of shocked stillness, he whipped around to dive under again, splashing everyone up on the edge of the pool quite easily with his powerful tail as he went under and to the opposite end of the pool, as far down as he could go. He snapped to attention when he heard a splash, and then smelled the food. He really was hungry....hungry enough to race for the food and tear into it with his fangs and claws before even thinking that anything could have been inside it. But he felt fine.

Oliver turned once more to get some more food, when suddenly she weird a loud swish then felt cold water, soaking her entire back from head to toe. "THAT RAT!" She yelled out of rage as she frantically tried ringing water out of her hair "I JUST GOT THIS DONE... AND IT HAS THE AUDACITY TO DO THAT, ESPECIALLY AFTER I JUST HELPED IT" Oliver continued to ramble on being infuriated by what it had done. She rarely took pride in things but her hair was something she had a lot of pride in and for it to get ruined like that, really ticked her off. One of the workers eventually ran up to hand her a towel, which she snatched from his hand "Took you long enough" She hissed at the man before using the towel to dry her hair. After her while melt down she turned around to see where the thing was at now, admittedly surprised to see it had raced up to the food she had dropped. *It is so lucky that my father is here...* Oliver grumbled in thought, as she knew if her father saw how violent she might get with the merman than, for sure he wouldn't let her come help with it, and that's not what she wanted. She then turned back around, grabbed the bucket, before retuning back to the pools edge, where she dumped the rest of the food in. Then took a few steps back away from the waters edge, not wanting to get soaked again.

Sage had finished his food rather quickly, and had looked up to see the men all scrambling to aide the girl because she was...wet? Well, that had worked better than expected. He watched stomp her foot and rage for a moment, a smirk crossing his face despite the fact that he was currently being held prisoner in a freshwater pool like cage, and hurting like mad. Though, his thoughts moved to the food that she'd thrown in this time, and he swam over to eat it. It was gone in minutes, the shells of the oysters floating to the bottom of the tank and the stray bit of meat rising to the top. He'd eaten most of it though, and now he was back at the bottom of the tank watching. And listening. The people were still there, though they were trickling away by then. Probably fed up with the princess wannabe and her crazy father. Not that he was judging them...he wanted to get as far away from them as possible too. His situation was a bit different though, he supposed. She'd calmed down by then, and was back to watching him. He did wonder what was so interesting about him though....he wasn't even very pretty for a merperson...he was reminded of that on a daily basis back at home.
