General Anubis +++ Leo was rather light on his feet, which was shocking considering he weighed, like, 220 pounds and he was 6'7. He let his sword get jerked back with her spear, but when she let go he scooped it up and tossed it aside with his sword before spinning and meeting her sword with his, a clang echoing through the air. "Having fun yet?" He asked cheerily, not the tiniest bit out of breath, quickening his attacks slightly to Dart for her leg, then her stomach again, then her ribs, then her arm. Each scrape he managed to get in he kept small, but still had it hit the skin. Everything was coming into play perfectly.

Lieutenant Dwyer Glory ignored all his little slashes, knowing he was just toying with her. "Quite a bit of fun, actually. But you won't be here in a second." Glory quipped. With Anubis' next attack, she threw another net of blackness over them, hoping it would be enough to blind him at least partially. In the next moment, she grabbed his wrist firmly and sent an electric pulse into him, causing his grip on the dagger to falter enough to snatch it from him.

General Anubis +++ "I doubt that." Leo grinned, but it quickly faded into a look of slight annoyance, as he had forgotten she had a Minor in ELECTRICITY. The zap was slightly painful, and it did cause him to loosen his grip and jerk his hand back. Well, bye sword. Helloooo ax. He stepped back and pretended to be hurt for a second as he summoned the ax, then leapt forward. He gave her enough time to parry with his sword, but that's exactly what he wanted. As soon as her sword came up, Leo brought the thick wooden handle of his ax up and when they connected, he engaged his first Major. With a shove of rather superhuman strength, he send her flying backwards. Leo then darted forward with surprising speed and pressed the sharp blade of the ax up against Glory's throat.

Lieutenant Dwyer Even with an ax blade against her neck, she was enjoying herself tremendously, though she had to admit the impact with the ground knocked the wind out of her. "That's a neat trick you got there, but I hope you don't think I feel threatened by you and your ax." Glory said with a smirk after catching her breath. She did the best she could, having used her Major quite a bit within the past few minutes, and reached out to the tendrils of darkness and slammed them into his face. Hmm, not as much as I'd have liked, but it'll have to do. Glory thought, as she reached up to his arm holding the ax, and sent as much electricity as she could muster into him. General Anubis +++ Leo snorted. "You do realize I could've slit your throat a couple times now, right? Which means I technically have won." He quipped with a triumphant grin, but again, it faded into concentration as the fight resumed. Darkness slammed into his face, and although he could faintly see her, it was still a little unnerving. However, the bolt of electricity that shot up his arm was enough to hurt like the Dickens. "Damn, are you trying to kill a general? Abuse!" He huffed, slight pain showing in his voice as he jerked back, but kept a hold of his ax. Trying to recover quickly, he brought out his Empathy power, twisting her emotions so that she would feel a strong urge of attraction towards him. Hopefully it would distract her. He smirked as he went in for some quick, harsh blows, quickly Landing a little deeper one on her spear arm before spinning behind her and using the ax handle to cut off her air and trap her closer to him. "Now are you having fun?" He teased, prodding for an infuriated response.

Lieutenant Dwyer Glory could tell he wasn't trying to make her pass out, but black was still creeping into the edges of her vision. She tried her hardest to breathe slowly and deliberately, but it was hard when Anubis made her heartbeat quicken a bit. Damn he's good. Think Glory think. She told herself, but it was hard when all she could focus on was his teasing tone and endearing grin. She forced the image of him on his knees, breathing hard and admitting defeat into her mind to drown out everything else. It worked, somewhat. Glory turned her head just enough to ease the pressure on her throat, and murmur to him, "Actually yes, I am, thank you. And I'm sorry." When he looked at her quizzically, she elbowed him in the ribs. Hard.

General Anubis +++ A triumphant look of ^I know I've won^ flitted across his face, especially since it was technically the second time. He hadn't gotten to the General role for nothing. He waited a second to see her reaction, as at the moment she was just breathing rather hard, but her words brought more of a grin to his face- until the last ones. "Huh?-" He asked quizzically, but a second later he realized very quickly why she had apologized. It was a good thing he didn't WANT to accidentally kill her, because his first instinct was to jerk back on the ax and snap her neck, which was a TERRIBLE idea, so instead he forced himself to let go so he could proceed to stumble back. "Youch! I probably deserved that, though-" He hissed, pausing for a moment before deciding to back down. "Okay okay, we can call this one even. Although I totally won twice, as I had two perfect opportunities to decapitate you." He flashed a smile, but it was sort of strained, as he was still a little short of breath.

'General Rogue' Adrien Romanov -x- Adrien had done... just a bit of hunting. Meaning he killed two dears, four coyotes, and a bear. Nothing much. He yawned as he licked his lips, looking around. Maybe he would go into town? He was bored anyway, well, not really- just then he heard something behind him. A dragon maybe? He turned around, ready to tell the student or sector leader to go back inside when he saw... well shit. 'Sector 2 leader' Juliet Romanov -x- Juliet was strolling through town, ignoring the people ogling at her. Yes, she knew she was hot. No point denying it. She walked into a small coffee shop and went to the counter, ordering a frappuccino and muffin. She liked muffins- alright? She looked out the window and zoned out, hands wrapped around her drink, now red nails tapping her drink lightly. Making a small noise as she stared out the window.

Lieutenant Dwyer Glory resisted the urge to gasp for air like a fish out of water upon being released, not wanting him to see any bit of weakness. She rolled her neck side to side and stretched her shoulders, taking note of all the minor cuts Anubis had given her. "Giving up, are we? While you did have opportunities to kill me, yes, you didn't take either of them. Patience isn't a virtue in the heat of battle, hesitating only gets you killed. So next time, don't hold back so much. Makes your opponent question your motives." She lilted with a wink. Normally, she'd have punched him for surrendering so soon, having given her the perfect opportunity to do so, but with the amount of wide-eyed first years scattered around the edge of the training grounds and peering at them from bedroom windows, Glory decided against it, to set a good example for them. "Now then, would you be so kind as to help me gather my belongings? I seem to be missing a throwing knife or two..." She continued. Edited at May 23, 2024 01:57 PM by KPH Equestrian
