yeah, I can just imagine somebody reading along like this xD)

Glory's mind worked in mysterious ways - or rather, the preteen boys and monkey mechanics did - so the Jack-in-the-Box creature was just, y'know, Fred. Little buddy. Generally pretty chill, except on Tuesdays. Don't bug Fred on a Tuesday.
While Fred may kill Leo for pushing his luck, Glory probably wouldn't. Key word probably. She wasn't exactly willing to throw away the first good - no, great - thing in her life. Now, if he really did something just unforgivable, then she might. With a great deal of sorrow, but still.
"Well then, if you manage to succeed at that, it'd be a frigging miracle. Might as well try to lick an owl," Glory said with a snort. "Thank you," She said, grinning, as if it was a compliment. Which, knowing Glory, it was. It was a compliment of highest honor, to be called difficult. "Yeah, well, want in one hand and shit in the other, see which fills up faster," She retorted. "Mhm," Was all she responded with, rolling her eyes.
Some 3 hours later, even though it didn't really feel like it, Glory had to get up. "That it is," She mumbled as she stood, stretched, and Lucy got ready to hop down. "No Lucy, stay," Glory told the dog, who immediately lie back down and didn't move another muscle.
"Remember what I told you to wear?" She asked Leo. She had about 15 minutes to change, if she were to be perfectly punctual, or 20 if she chose to be fashionably late. Hmm, decisions decisions... punctual would probably be better. Like everything of importance, Glory kept her outfit under the bed. Part of the logic in that was that when there was enough stuff under there, nothing else could get under the bed. No monsters, no cats, no idiots on April Fool's Day trying to get killed.
(nahhh no worries, I've got stuff to do too xD My mom's horse is in with mine so I gotta keep an eye on em so they don't get to playing and smash through the fence🙃)

(My three best friends - Joy, Nadine, Kali. Nadine, Kali, and I are all kindred souls, while Joy is the sane person that keeps us from dying. Joy looked exactly like that when I showed her a paragraph, and both Kali and Nadine were laughing so hard they almost died xD

Anyone would agree that Fred was the perfect name.
Leo would never dare do something REALLY unforgivable. He wasn't that bad. Although he was insufferable insane and incompetent, he wasn't an idiot- most days. Usually he was smart enough to know when to stop. However, he would push people to the edge... every... damn... time.
"I can perform miracles. Just watch, I'll prove it to you at breakfast." He grinned, looking forward to pleasing her tastebuds enough for that. He knew he never ate much, and whenever he ate his own food, he always ate way too much. Then again, it could be his ego saying it tasted good, but everyone he'd ever cooked for had also loved it.
He glanced at the dog as she tried to get up, chuckling lightly. He then turned his golden gaze to Glory. "Course I remember. Black, plague mask, and you want me to be shorter." He grinned, already striding towards the door. "Be right back." He called cheerfully, disappearing. Leo walked to his own room, entering and wincing at the mess. He had to clean up... someday. He fished out black cargo pants, a black t-shirt, a black leather jacket to go over it, black leather gloves, and after he had put all that on, he pulled back on his black leather boots. Beautiful. (I swear, a couple years ago, the last time I did halloween, this is exactly the outfit I wore. Then Nadine painted my face to look like Venom. I was literally the scariest moving shadow of all time xD) After everything was set, he snatched the plague mask and put it on, shrinking himself and the clothing- before taking it back off. He was now a normal height of just 6', and felt extremely short as he walked back to where she was, entering with a weird face. "I feel like I could barely even hit my head on my expectations." He commented. Playing on the fact that they had joked his expectations were set at a bar so low people were tirpping over them in hell. He didn't even have to worry about the door. It was oddly sad. And he absolutely hated it. But he'd do anything to spend a couple extra minutes around Glory. "Gah. Is this really what it feels like? What if I was shorter? 5'9? Or... even... 5'6?" He shuddered.

"Mm, I'll be holding you to that," Glory said, smirking a little. She knew well and truly he had the skill to back his claims, but still. She was difficult.
"Very good," She said as he left. Her room already felt lonelier without him, somehow.
She set to work changing her clothes- black pants, tall black boots, black silk shirt under a black waistcoat, and long leather jacket of a matching color, ending roughly mid-thigh. The latter two helped for a more masculine silhouette, as being able to narrow Glory down to one of just half the residents of Libobon made keeping everything a secret a little harder. Best to let them wonder who the Crow Lord was, so keeping the possibilities open to literally anyone between 5'5 and 5'10 helped. Over everything Glory threw on a black cloak and was fiddling with the clasp when Leo came back.
(omg I love that xD)
Seeing Leo at an average height was admittedly strange. "Ohh, you poor thing," Glory teased, understanding his reference immediately. "Yeah, that's really what it feels like. It's not all bad though," She said, and before she could think to do otherwise had folded her arms around his neck and kissed him happily.
(fuck dinners ready lil shorter)

"Good, you should be. I am confident in my skills." Leo scoffed with the royal air of a king. If there was one thing he was certain about, it was his cooking. The fact that his cooking was AMAYZIN, more specifically.
He was content to be in his black bonaza of clothing, especially since his cargo pants had so many damn POCKETS. There were ten of them, and four of those were big enough to fit two water bottles each, and he LOVED IT. So much space to put magical potions- okay, fine, poisonous plant juice- and dangerous weapons and everything else. Cargo pants were by far his favorite type of clothing ever. Next was kilts, because the fucking mastermined insane freako that decided men should wear skirts both needed to get a medal and be brutally murdered.
"I am a poor thing- being short sucks." He whined lowly, not believing her when she said it wasn't all bad. Until she kissed him. Then he decided that if that was the treatment he got for being short, he would do this every day. He stifled a grin, reciprocating it happily, even if she caught him off guard.
"Forget everything I said. Being short is awesome."

(haha yes, and I still love the line "When are you free for an ass whooping, hotshot?" xD
Ooh, literally how one of my last names is - Ason. Pronounced with the same 'A' sound as hay. Yet SOMEHOW everyone pronounces it like 'assassin'. Even my dad had trouble in school way back when with teachers not getting it right D:

"Alright then, so I can expect not to die in the morning," Glory retorted with a snort. (oooh almost foreshadowing) Actually, with Glory, one could never expect her to still be alive in twenty minutes, let alone six or seven hours. The medics and nurses at Libobon almost always sighed and said "What'd you do this time?" whenever she paid them a visit. Quite often it was something stupid, like when she burned her hand trying to see if some metal was hot - it was. Hurt like a bitch, too. On the bright side, she didn't do that again... too many times, at least.
"Glad I could change your mind," Glory said, grinning like an idiot. She kissed him one more time before releasing him. Glory rather liked that she could just do that, whenever she wanted. It was nice. She grabbed her mask, slipped it on, pulled the hood of her cloak over it, and threw on a pair of black gloves, hiding every inch of her skin. The only not black part of her outfit was her penguin socks- the pastel yellow ones with light blue penguins.
"Ready to go?" She asked, glancing upeth at the clock. 11:57, right on time.

"Correct, you can expect not to die." Leo confirmed. (Not death, just torture Leo, hehehe) Just like her, he couldn't be garaunteed alive even five minutes later, considering he could literally die at any second for any random reason, including emotions, like shock. Or laughing to hard. Honestly, he'd more likely die of a random ass heart attack then laughing too hard, considering he rarely laughed. However, grinning so wide his face split open and his brains spilled out- that was liable to happen. Also, considering where they were, it was likely to be killed by Simara's glare, likely to be killed by a student that was messing around, and likely to be killed by a stray corrupted, all in one shot.
"It doesn't take much to change my mind, if you use the right things." He grinned as well, for all the world wishing that he could trap the moment in a glass for all of eternity and revisit it whenever he wanted.
Since he already had his gloves on, he slipped his mask on as well and poppd the hood of his jacket over it, completely going black with no inch of skin showing anywhere.
"Ready to go." He confirmedeth, stepping aside to let her go out the door, as he didn't have a clue as to where they were going.

"Well ain't that a relief," Glory said as though she'd actually expected his cooking to be so god-awful it'd kill her. Well, a lot of things would be quite likely to here, but definitely nothing Leo-inflicted. She was more likely to lose the opportunity to kill someone to Leo than anything else. Pity, since that was one of her favorite activities. Some might call it a hobby.
"Then... it seems I've found the right thing," She said, biting back a smile, despite her mask hiding it anyway.
"Then let's go," Glory said, moving past him out the door. She slipped her hand in his, choosing not to think about it, as she led him down the halls. Since curfew was at, what, 10, 10:30 - Glory couldn't remember exactly - the halls were empty, free of prying eyes. Once outside, she led Leo silently around the corner of the building, to the north side, which was all swampy with shadows that one could easily trick themselves into believing was a person... or something inhuman.
Glory let go of Leo's gloved hand as they rounded the corner, and there was someone there, exactly as agreed upon. He was leaning against the cold stone wall, face hidden under a hood. The moment he saw Glory and Leo approach, he checked both directions before standing up straight.
Glory dipped her head slightly in wordless greeting, and the boy returned the gesture.
"Got what I requested?" He asked softly, and Glory nodded once. From her pocket, she pulled a folded sheet of paper, and again the boy glanced around before accepting it. He read it, seemed satisfied with what it said, and produced one of his own from his pocket. Glory skimmed over it briefly, nodded again, and it disappeared into one of her pockets.
With business complete, quick and painless, Glory shook his hand before turning and leaving, not so much as glancing back to see which way he went. Chances were he'd be there until Glory was gone just to make sure he wasn't seen. Clever move, at least. She kept to a slow, relaxed gait, just happy to be outside again. Part of her didn't want to go back inside, but seeing as it was kind of late, it'd be best to try to sleep. Still... it couldn't hurt to linger outside a minute.

"The least likely thing to kill you is my cooking." Leo snorted. Especially with her. She wouldn't eat too much. He had met people that would, however, and that was a scary sight, honestly. He knew someone- their name was Bob, just saying- who invented a safe thing to drink that would make them throw up just so they could eat more. Leo didn't think he had ever been more disgusted in his entire life. The mere thought that someone was so gluttonous was horrid to him, considering there were children out there starving to death while BOB ate his fill, threw up, and ate again. It took all the joy out of a meal, in Leo's opinion.
"That's the right damn thing to get me to do ANYTHING." He laughed- that's something he'd openly admit to. Honestly, she could just ask him and he'd do anything- except dress like a fairy, as she had pointed out- but he would most likely complain in the process. One kiss and not only was the complaining gone, but then you had a cheerful companion for the rest of the time. Win win. He didn't bother restraining his grin, even though it was under a mask and no one could tell, as she slipped her hand into his. There was no place he'd rather be in the planet than by her side, so he was just fine and content to follow her footsteps with his still rough, still calloused, still gloved, slightly smaller than normal hand holding hers.
He stayed silent as they rounded a corner, his hand falling back to his side as she released it. He focused his gaze, through the mask, on the shadowy figure standing near the building. The whole thing took less than a minute, all in all, and it took longer to walk out than to exchange literally zero words. He slowly turned and left with her, already mentally planning complaints on how horribly boring that was.

"I don't doubt that," Glory said with a snort. She was more likely to accidentally eat a rat than die by Leo's food, unless it was intentionally poisoned. Which, y'know, she could be a bothersome little twat at the BEST of times, but she didn't think Leo'd find her to be that problematic. But who was she to say, given very few people actually had a positive opinion of her. Neutral, sure, but not positive.
(that doesn't even have to be invented, hydrogen peroxide is already used to induce vomiting, even for dogs :3)
"I'll keep that in mind, then," Glory said somewhat slyly. Not that that'd be used for any sort of manipulation, no, just.. positive reinforcement. Which also happened to be the ideal way to teach Glory pretty much anything.
Glory could practically hear Leo complaining about how boring that was already, but ooh lordy was it worth it. She got some good dirt this time, and the Sophia Matthews conundrum had been answered. Glory figured it'd be best to wait until the got back to read through it all though, less chance of being seen. That was also why Glory kept her meetings as short as possible, and spoke as little as possible. Maintain a sort of mysterious persona, and it keeps the right people curious enough to be of use, and the rest paid no mind.
Once back in Glory's room, they were immediately greeted by Lucy, who ran back and forth from the door, jumped on the bed, back to the door, rinse, repeat. Dropping her hood, Glory took off the mask and sat down on the bed, Lucy immediately sitting behind her. Glory pulled the sheet of paper from her pocket and gestured for Leo to sit with her. "Before you go ranting and raving about how boring that was, just read this," Glory said, handing the paper to him.
Sophia Matthews is not a whore, the rumors were spread by a jealous now-ex-boyfriend. She does however have an estimated body count of 5-7.
Tyler Filmore "accidentally" poisoned the survival skills professor to get out of a test.
Millard Nullings has been seen in the girls' bathroom on several occasions, had no reasonable excuse.
Lilly WIlliams made an inappropriate joke about advanced history Professor Cox's last name, is now being made fun of for flirting with a teacher.
Most of it was useless, except for the fact Glory used it as leverage if needed, but still, Glory was a collector of sorts, and this was just more to add to it.

Leo found Glory as anything but problematic, and a positive view didn't begin to cover how he saw her. Both of them were insane, but both of them also could only see each others strengths. Or, cough, they just ignored each other weaknesses. In any case, he saw her as perfect, and in his eyes, everything she did was for a reason. Totally justifiable reason, too.
(I know, I meant something that tasted good XD. I've had to feed my mom's puppy hydrogen peroxide because he ingested a bunch of xylitol and almost died :D)
Leo didn't care what the fuck she used it for- she could manipulate him into doing just about anything and he wouldn't give a shit, as long as he got the reward. Although he would proooobably draw the line at some things to save what little dignity he had left, he also knew he'd do an insane amount of other things for no reason other than she asked and she had a reward in store. In his mind, that sounded good at first, although the words just seemed wrong after a while, but he decided not to focus on that.
He managed to stay silent until they got back to the room, in which he took off the mask and IMMEDIATELY opened his mouth to speak when she cut him off. Which was a good thing, too. He wandered over to the bed and sat beside her, eyeing the paper with interest. He took the paper without a complaint and scanned the page, IMMEDIATELY letting our a 'ha!' "See, all those Sophia Matthew jokes were for NOTHING." He scoffed. "...almost nothing." He added with a slight wince at the body count. He preferred body count to mean how many people you had killed- his would be high in that case- but in this case, he knew that's not what it meant. "Also, I need to find this Tyler Filmore and knock some sense into him. Survival skills is one of the only not boring classes in the entire school. He should've knocked out the history professor." Leo snorted, his eyes moving farther down the page. "Millard just needs to get whacked... very hard.. eh, and so does Lilly. Though you can't really blame her." He grunted with a snort. "I'd say the top most information is the most interesting there, but I'm sure you have better ideas of what to do with the rest. Unless it's just blackmail/leverage/ways to terrify them."
