Lieutenant Dwyer Glory shot him a look when he commented on the weight of her sword, but he was right. It felt like she'd not slept in days, she was so exhausted. Maybe I shouldn't have exerted myself like that, saved my energy, she started to think. But no, I don't regret a thing. Wayyy better than being stuck in that stuffy old meeting room, anyhow. She started off after Anubis, grinning slightly at his compliment, favoring her injured leg only slightly when he told her something concerning. Hopefully, they wouldn't need her tonight, it may be hard to explain the limp and she certainly didn't want Simara mad at Anubis. She picked up her pace as much as she could. At the stairs, she gratefully accepted Anubis' arm and made her way carefully up the stairs, letting him catch her when she stumbled. Right foot first, up, now left. Right foot, up, now left. Keep going, Glory. She told herself. Eventually, they made it to her room, and she opened the door and thanked Anubis, both for a good time and the help. "Are you sure you can't spare a minute to let me bandage you? It's still bleeding." Glory said, and it was true; the bloodstain had spread a worrisome amount. (Updated my side as well)(Gonna repost it over here) 'General Rogue' Adrien Romanov -x- Adrien grumbled and dragged the corrupted one through the portal, dropping its body in the assembly room and tightening his hold on his abdomen. He was glaring coldly at anything. He was also very prone to snapping at someone at the moment. He kicked the corrupted one in the head roughly. "Fucking corrupted ones.." He growled out. His shirt was coated in a patch of blood and his hand was dripping with his blood. He was GREAT. JUST. GREAT. Edited at May 23, 2024 03:47 PM by Oakwood Barn

Flash watched the fight. It wasn't sparring, with weapons designed to kill. He was there the entire time, tried to grab the weapons without giving himself away, camouflaged with the background. He decided to slip into Glory's room to see how badly the pointless fight had injured her and Anubis.

General Anubis +++ The slight look of concern re-crept over his face as his golden gaze flitted to Dwyer, and he saw her eyes were slightly glazed over and she was favoring her leg quite a bit. He really should've been more careful. She looked exhausted - should he have stopped earlier? He slowed down slightly for her, wanting to keep an eye on her so that she didn't just sink to the floor and not get back up for a while. When she stumbled, he kept his grip on her arm and helped her back up, worry marring his expression more than before. Past the jokes and humor, he was really just a big teddy bear. He set the sword down inside her doorway, then listened as she spoke, hesitating for a second as he weighed the odds. General Rogue had wanted them in the assembly hall promptly, but surely they would be accommodating if he was late because he was treating a wound? Also, it would give him a couple minutes longer to make sure Dwyer really would be okay. Plus, the end of her sentence did cause him to glance down and confirm the bloodflow had continued, and maybe even increased. "Okay, I can spare a minute." Leo finally answered, mentally apologizing to Romanov, as he knew they didn't like to have to wait.

'General Rogue' Adrien Romanov -x- Adrien growled in frustration. The others would have to deal with it. He pulled off his shirt and looked down at the wound. And of course, he had an entrance and exit wound. He poked at the wound and growled in pain and frustration. He was about to either go kill someone or broadcast to everyone to get their asses back here. He sat down on his throne and twisted, draping his legs over one arm and propping himself up on the other, keeping an arm tucked into his wound. Hell, this hurts. He thought, leaning his head back and waiting for the others in annoyed and pissed and pained silence. Edited at May 23, 2024 04:02 PM by Oakwood Barn

Lieutenant Dwyer Glory nodded, "Good. Alright, come in, you can sit on my bed for now. I'll go find my bandages." She stifled a yawn as she moved away from the door and Anubis moved to sit on her bed. She went over to her desk, rummaging through several drawers before finding what she was looking for and setting it on the floor beside her; gauze, adhesive strips, clean washcloths, a glass bottle of purified water, sutures(just in case), and antiseptic solution. She motioned for him to stand in the middle of the room, waiting while he took off his vest and unbuttoned his flannel partway. She sucked in a sharp breath when she saw the wound, about 4 inches long and an inch deep, the edges crusted with dried blood and dirt. Glory poured some water on a washcloth and started carefully wiping away the blood to get a better look at the wound. Once it was fairly clean, she wiped it dry with a second cloth, then poured antiseptic solution on some gauze and warned him, "This is probably going to burn a fair bit, okay?" and placed it over the wound, quickly keeping it in place with adhesive strips. Not the prettiest job, but at least it will stop bleeding and not get infected.

General Anubis +++ Leo sighed almost inaudibly, not wanting to take too much time, but again his calculating brain had figured out something. He sat on the bed for about half a second as instructed, but quickly she gestured someplace else, so he went there. He slipped off the leather vest, looking the slightest bit sad as he saw the inside was all bloodstained. After putting it aside, he unbuttoned his shirt and peeled the fabric back from the wound right there. Of course, the shirt was drenched in blood- definitely not salvageable. He winced as he saw the wound- it wasn't the prettiest. Not too long, but deep enough to leave a nice looking scar. Across his torso, there was many other scars that looked much the same, some longer and some thicker, all varying. He was pretty sure he had every kind of scar possible to human-kind. That did not indicate he sucked at fighting, but rather, he fought too much. Leo stayed still as she started her quick job of the wound, gritting his teeth slightly as the antiseptic bubbled up and seemed to sizzle on his wound, sending tiny bolts of pain through his chest. "Well that felt just peachy- now I know you don't need help with your wound, but I'm going to help anyway, as you look rather tired and it is my job to look out for everyone." He stated, buttoning back up the blood soaked shirt and grabbing the same stuff she used for his wound. The easiest way to get to the wound would be cutting a small square out of the pants around it, and honestly he was in a little bit of a hurry, so he deftly took out a dagger and sliced a small strip, just enough to see the full wound. "I can sew it back on later if you're that concerned." He joked lightly as he quickly grabbed the water and a clean cloth, using it to wipe away the blood, his touch surprisingly gentle for someone with such big, calloused, rough hands. He then grimaced slightly. The wound was even deeper than he had thought. How the hell had he let himself slip so much? Almost an inch and a half deep, if he could guess, and about three inches across. He quickly decided it would heal much better with sutures, then brought the idea up to Glory. "Can I sew this shut? Otherwise it risks running for infection. I have some... numbing cream..." He fumbled in his pockets before pulling out a tube. "Aha. Numbing cream."

Lieutenant Dwyer Glory watched, slightly amused, as he cut her pant leg. "That'd be great, thank you. And don't worry about my pants, I'll just throw them out, it's easier than washing out the stains and sewing all the holes." She responded. "Let me sit down first, make this easier on both of us." Glory sat down on the bed, resting the heel of her left boot on the toe of her right one. "Oh, and don't bother numbing it first, I'll be alright. You've got places to be, and I've stitched my own wounds shut before; I'm used to it."

General Anubis +++ Leo snorted quietly at what she said about the pants. "It was a joke, if you didn't notice." He teased quietly, though he was more concentrated on it not taking forever. He swiftly reapplied antibiotic to the cloth, then glanced up at her. "I dont think I have to warn you this might sting a little, but here: This might sting a little." He smiled faintly before pressing it gently into the wound. Once it was as clean as it was going to get, he sterilized the needle and attached the thread, a feat for someone who's hands were as big as plates. He the deftly sewed the wound shut. It didn't take many stitches... in his experience, anyway... but he still felt bad. He then stood after he was done, cleaning up the small mess he had made. "Now I hate to leave, but I have a feeling that if General Rogue sounded so urgent he might be dying. I didn't even think that guy had a voice other than ^I am a robot with a cold monotone unhappy voice^ so I'm a bit worried. Be careful walking down stairs." He winked before disappearing, quickly walking to the assembly room- where he was met with a rather unsurprising sight. Romanov, bleeding out. "What did you do?"
