(Context: Fuckaree: a particularly fine time, possibly but not necessarily of a sexual nature. Fuckarow: a very bad time.) Lieutenant Dwyer ᓚ₍ ^. .^₎ Just that one sentence made Glory feel slightly... well, more alive wasn't quite right, more like less dead. But still, that was a GOOD FUCKIN THING. What had started out as a fuckaree, then became a fuckarow, was beginning to look like a fuckaree again. Not as nice of a fuckaree it had been, what, 2 weeks ago? Before Libobon was attacked. Not as nice, but still, better than the fuckarow it was just yesterday. Glory thought for a moment as Keres's question, then decided that yeah, she could probably walk a short way. Before she got up, she cupped water from the river in her hand and drank it, the cool liquid sliding down her throat in a most delightful way. She repeated this a few times, before forcing herself up. Painfully, slowly, she straightened, trying to tamp down the dizziness and ignore the pain in her thigh where she'd been stabbed. "I think I'll manage, how far is it?" She asked.

(Those are some unique words lol) Keres wonder She waited for glory to get done drinking before she started to walk next to her. "only around a hundred yards" Keres replied her voce steady. It was true for the most part. The only catch is a small mama fox and two kits lived under the cave. "Here" she stopped in front of a big hill. Kicking the ground twice a wooden door feel down and a living room was on the other side. "Don't worry this place has been long abandoned" she paused before finishing her sentence " I used to live here alone as a chinld" She walked into the small cavelike home waiting for glory to follow.

(Stole 'em from Stephen King's novel Dreamcatcher, Beaver is frigging iconic xD) Lieutenant Dwyer ᓚ₍ ^. .^₎ Glory groaned softly at the student's reply. "Only a hundred yards, she says," She grumbled, mentally preparing herself to keep walking. It wasn't that far by comparison of how far she'd gone already, but still, her body felt like a car that was damn near totaled but still ran, if only on hopes and prayers. Glory watched as Keres kicked open a wooden door in the ground, rather curious despite her aching, well, everything. She eyed the girl as she spoke for a moment before saying, "Well, it's a hell of a lot better than the burrows I dug as a kid when home wasn't safe." She descended into the small, sort of cozy space, ignoring how much her body protested. She settled with her back against one wall with a sigh.

(Glory sounds like my car rn) Keres wonder Keres pulled the door shut with a slam at witch point she jumped. "I've done that to" she replied to glory with a small smile before crouching on her knees and messing with the rocks on the wall she had found this cave when she was seven and turned it into her home as what normal kids would call home was never safe abusive druggy mother and alcoholic farther plus a sister that got dropkicked down the stairs way to many times she just ran it was better here then it would ever be there

(lmaoooo real😭) Lieutenant Dwyer ᓚ₍ ^. .^₎ Glory gave the student a little smile, though it was a pained and slightly sad one. "Ever tried to catch a squirrel, fallen out of a tree, and broken your arm in two places?" Glory most certainly had, and when she went to her drunk of a deadbeat dad, he told her well don't go to those places, ya fawking idiot. She drew in a long, slow breath, and felt something aching pulling at her left side. Probably ribs. Shit. They didn't feel displaced or anything, or too badly broken, but it still hurt real bad. She figured she hadn't really felt all her injuries before since the water she was given while at the Corrupted's stronghold was tainted with that blue shit that kept her a little weak and a little more numb. If that was the case, everything would probably hurt more and more as time went on. Lovely.

(It jerks really bad when stopped😭) Keres wonder She listened to glory speak before shaking her head "no, but I've called down a water fall trying to teach a fish how to fly" (true story I actually did that) if she really thought about she was an extremely stupid child but really smart at the same time Her sister did most of the teaching they were really close till Keres got a name when she turned 8 but Ammit didn't get named until after she was 11 her life was quite sad especially when her father started to hear voices in his head and yell at Keres to shut the ever lover fuck up before he shut her up himself.

General Anubis AKA: Craptain Jack Spare-Ribs +++ He didn't know how long it had been. Leo had just been struggling to stay alive through the pain. With the burns, the dagger wounds, everything... he was holding on by a thread. At the moment, he felt like absolute shit, and he was ready to die. The burns hurt more than anything he had probably EVER experienced before- he could tell, they were third degree. His skin had been burnt off. He knew that at least. He also knew if he didn't do something about it.. he WOULD die. At this point, he could barely even see Lucy or Mori. He could barely see his own HANDS. He needed to get to water, and he knew that. Eyes blurring, Leo grit his teeth and moved forward. It took hours just to cross a single mile- or what he thought was a mile. He was going so slowly that he barely thought he was moving at all. After a while of excruciating torture, he heard the tinkle of water- water. Sucking in a shuddering breath, he pulled himself forward more quickly, staggering like a starved person. The water sound got louder, and finally, he saw a shallow river. Almost at the same time, he tripped and tumbled to the ground with a yelp of pain, shuddering as he laid there for a moment before crawling to the water. Finally. He dipped his hands in, which were trembling, washing the dirt and grime off for a moment. He then scooped up the water and drank a little, the cool liquid rushing down his throat and soothing his every nerve. He knew he needed to do this, so he slowly dragged himself into the water. As the cool water washed over his burnt flesh, he could've sworn he heard sizzling, and agony coursed through him. He clenched his fists, letting out a strangled sob of pain. "DAMN it." He hissed, clenching his jaw and ducking his head, face almost in the water. After a few minutes, the pain ebbed slightly. When he could unclench his teeth and move again, he slowly started washing the blood and grime he could get off. He scrubbed the stuck blood off his face, then slowly put his arms on the shore, propped his face on his arms, and went limp in the water, letting it wash off the rest of the blood. His burn wounds still ... well... burned, but he knew he couldn't fix that. Although Leo was NOT one to be grossed out by ANYTHING, he was in pain, extremely dizzy, and when he saw a tiny chunk of his flesh float past, burned and bleeding, he almost threw up. "Fuck." He closed his eyes, breathing heavily as he dropped his head back in his arms. Glory. He had to focus ... on Glory. If he didn't find Glory, there was no point in living. He stayed still for a while, trying not to move, and breathed shallowly. He could tell Mori and Lucy were laying nearby, silent, but he didn't pay attention to them. Although they were important, they were not as important as Glory. She was the only thing really important enough to stay alive for. He was in enough pain to where he would rather die than do anything else, but he couldn't do that yet. It was too early. He still had plans for Glory.

(Ghost - tf you do to it? Drive it like it was the frigging General Lee?😭) Lieutenant Dwyer ᓚ₍ ^. .^₎ Glory let out a small chuckle, though it hurt her side terribly. "And why were you trying to teach a fish to fly?" She asked. But, in the girl's defense, Glory'd tried to teach a crow to steal money, though all it ever brought back were shiny buttons and the occasional earring or necklace. Nothing of value - damn that bird - so Glory's efforts were for nothing. She couldn't remember exactly what happened to the crow, though she was pretty sure it became dinner. Tasted pretty damn good, regardless of how poorly behaved it'd been. Glory glanced down at her hand, which had started bleeding again and hurting worse than before. "God DAMN it," she hissed quietly, frowning. "You wouldn't happen to be, I dunno, a surgeon? And able to do something about stab wounds and broken bones?" She asked, rather sarcastically. Should probably go out and try to wash and rebandage it, though the little Corrupted situation made that a little harder.

General Anubis AKA: Craptain Jack Spare-Ribs +++ Leo laid there for, oh he didn't know, a couple hours? He had all but passed out again when he heard a whine, then something nudged his hand. He groaned lowly and glanced up, eyes squinting in the bright sun. Lucy stood there, looking as concerned as a dog could. "I know." He mumbled, voice hoarse. Yes, he was crazed enough to talk to a dog. Yes, he always was. He dug his fingers into the grass, dragging himself onto the bank. The sun hit his bare back and immediately sent pain racking through his very bones, but he tried to ignore it, slowly standing. Dizziness swamped his mind, but he leaned against the tree and tried not to fall over. He slowly let out a breath before standing upright and stumbling into the shade of the trees, then started downstream. He kept the water in his view at all times, not wanting to leave it. It took a while to creep along, and every time he was in the sun, his burns hurt more, but he was slowly making his way forward. Eventually, he stopped to put his burns back in the water, a low snarl escaping at the pain. Always the same, blinding pain. He then got back out of the water and continued onward. Glory was smart- if she got out, if she was alive, she'd go to water. He couldn't be TOO far from the Corrupted base, since he was on foot, and injured. If she wasn't out yet, then at least the river may lead him to other people. Who may be able to help him. He knew, in his state, if he shifted into dragon form, the pain would be even more excruciating than water, and he wouldn't be able to fly- so there was no point. He was already bloodstained again, as all his dagger wounds still bled. The one in his thigh, the one in his shoulder, and the one in his stomach were most definitely the worst. He was beginning to wonder just how indestructible he was, as every ten or so steps, his knees would buckle. For no reason. He was dizzy and barely knew which way was up. That was a PROBLEM, but he needed to go somewhere. Do something. He continued limping along for quite a while before he gave up for a while, collapsing back into the shallow water. Lucy laid under a tree and Mori sat on the bank, next to him. He flopped his head back and sucked in a breath, mind fuzzy with pain. After a couple long minutes, he decided he was hallucinating. He heard a voice. Was it a voice? He couldn't tell. He was so delirious, it may not be. But then he heard it again, so he hauled himself up and dragged his feet forward. The voice grew louder. He didn't give two hoots that he looked like someone out of a horror show- pants ripped, hair wild (worse than usual), long dagger wounds across his chest where it had just scraped along, bruises and small cuts everywhere, a dagger wound his thigh, one in his stomach, another in his shoulder, a dagger wound across his face narrowly missing his eye, and the worst thing- horrible, indescribable burns across his back, neck, and shoulders. Red, boiled, blistered skin that looked like something that would be leftover after you burnt someone at the stake. He brightened slightly as the voice FINALLY grew clear. Then a yelp of excitement escaped as he recognized it through the haze of his mind. "GLORY!" He recognized that complaining sarcastic tone! Which meant she was ALIVE! He staggered forward faster, almost losing his balance, but bursting out into a clearing near the river still mostly upright.
