Leo frowned a little at her summary, looking at her with a calculating gaze. "That's better than I thought." He mumbled quietly. He had been terrified that they had just killed her, so this was much better. He was still worried about it, though. Extremely. He thought about how he could help, but then again, helping was not as easy if you were practically paralyzed from pain. At her question, he barked a quiet, rough laugh, regretting it INSTANTLY as agony coursed through his veins, setting every nerve end on fire. "Almost." He replied, thinking for a moment. "The initial dagger stab wound in my shoulder, another in my stomach and another in my thigh as I went to get away, POSSIBLY another in my calf, but I'm not quite sure, slash across chest and face, then the grand finale- they tried to blow me up." He looked honestly offended. "I was probably nearing the base, looking for you- no I did not have a plan- and the only reason I got out alive was, again, Lucy. She stopped and retreated, alerting me, and as I jumped away, whatever they used exploded right where I was standing. It scorched my back, shoulders, and neck. As you can see. I honestly don't know how bad it is, apart from the fact that it is most definitely third degree burns." He explained lowly, wincing. "I'm hoping it looks better than it feels." Honestly, it probably didn't. What he didn't know was the fact it quite literally looked like, well, what would be leftover after a velociraptor attack with no claw marks or bite wounds. Just torn, ragged flesh. Blistering, scorched flesh. Leo shuddered slightly as he thought about it. "Suddenly I'm glad I can't see my back." He muttered, the faintest smile coming back to his face as she kissed him. Still one of the best feelings in the entire world. As he watched another tear slip down her cheek, his gaze turned slightly sad. "Glory, stop worrying about me." He mumbled firmly, then reconsidered. "Nevermind, worry about me, just not like THAT. However much I take pride in being the only individual to make you cry, I don't like it. At all. So please stop." He joked quietly, though his words were true. He hated seeing her like this more than he hated seeing her physically hurt. This was so much worse. "She is a good Do-It-All-Doggo." He agreed quietly, closing his eyes for a moment as he was reminded of how she could be dead now. It had been an incredible feat getting out, and they had BOTH gotten very lucky. "I'm glad she did too. You're worth it." He replied promptly, then he winced again, face crumbling slightly as he envisioned the pain of actually taking care of the wounds. "Any sedatives in here?" Leo asked mildly, rubbing his forehead with his fingers and sighing lightly. "Don't worry Lucy. When we get back, I'll give you what you want." He said in total seriousness, and was rewarded with a tail wagging. Leo then let his head rest against the couch, feeling too exhausted to even think at the moment. The haze was still VERY prominent, and it worried him.

Glory nodded, half-consciously leaving out the fact that she was afraid the bones in her had were splintered or possibly shattered, and that, given the immense blunt force trauma, her broken ribs had a good chance of being displaced, and that got her worrying about bones puncturing a lung. Lovely. Internal wounds were always the worst; she figured that was the only - and tiny - upside to Leo's injuries, they were pretty external. Though, as he listed them all, it did make Glory worry about infection. Fuck. There never were ANY upsides to being injured, especially to that degree. And in the woods. "Kind of a low tactic," Glory mused quietly, "Imagine being so terrified of ONE GUY you resort to explosives..." It spoke volumes on just how shitty the Corrupted were, and how damn well Leo'd scared 'em and probably pulverized a few. Like good ol' CC. Glory winced slightly at his comment about looking better than it feels, and shook her head in a "not really" sort of way.
"No," She said softly, "no, it's okay, it's happy tears. It's just... I fuckin love you, and I can't stand the thought of losing you. So, if you'd be so kind, try not to do that again," She added, smiling faintly. Glory really didn't want to end up like her father; she didn't want to have to receive the news that the love of her life was dead- killed- and have to go on living with the idea that it could've been prevented. She'd rather wind up an alcoholic and skip that horrible middle step, thanks.
Lucy perked up as Leo spoke, wagging her tail and grinning a big goofy doggy grin that said yes, I am a good doggo! Now pet me hooman, rub my belly, throw a stick, something! Acknowledge my good-doggo-ness!
"Awww, however little I believe that, it's still sweet," Glory said, actually finally smiling, momentarily forgetting at least some of the pain wracking her poor bones.
She sighed a little and muttered, "What good is a drawer of drugs when they're miles away...?" Figures. Glory had enough sedatives and tranquilizers to kill a fucking mammoth, but the time they're REALLY needed, she can't get to them.

Leo knew that broken bone was definitely an optimistic way to say it. He peered at her hand again for a moment, his concerned frown deepening slightly. His mind slowly rolled away from his pain to her injuries. He wondered exactly what had happened, as she was obviously downsizing her injuries. His frown turned into an almost scowl as he could imagine the internal injuries. Although, outwardly, she didn't look too bad, with broken ribs- anything could happen. <I'm going to fucking torture those shitweasels. I will flay them alive and feed them their skin before they die> He thought viciously, fury rolling beneath his skin as he thought about her injuries and who had instilled them. The mere fact that they had touched her made him want to gouge their eyeballs out and stuff them up their asses. He clenched his Jaws slightly, nostrils flaring as he attempted to calm himself down- now wasn't the time to plan revenge missions. He turned his gaze back to her, snorting quietly at her words. "I personally can admit that I have never been that scared of anyone." He grumbled lowly. "I should've played your tactic. Pretended like I wasn't a threat even when I was." He sounded sulky. "If only my brain functioned. All I could worry about was you." He mused lowly, hoping with all his might that he could focus on her instead of the pain that was coming and the fact that she was most likely extremely injured. As she shook her head, he winced. "Damn." He wrinkled his nose slightly. Of COURSE it looked as bad as it felt. Probably worse. His gaze met hers as more words spilled out, and his jaw tightened slightly. Too many emotions were flying through his head at the moment. "I'll try. You try, too. I love you." He muttered, voice rough. He was too focused on other things, and his emotions were not helping. He turned his gaze, still very blurry, to Lucy, smiling very faintly as she wagged her tail and grinned her goofy doggy grin. That was nice. Her happiness was a good sight for sore eyes. "It's VERY true." He stated with a weak glare. "I am very glad she woke me back up. I would bathe in fire for the rest of my eternity if it meant another second with you." He said firmly, then let out a sigh with her. Every breath fucking hurt, and sighing was worse, but it didn't matter. Physical pain was nothing compared to emotional or mental pain. He closed his eyes for a moment before exhaling. "Yes. We need to treat the wounds." He said lowly, swallowing something down- possibly a gag, he couldn't quite tell any more.

Glory saw Leo looking at her hand and smiled wanely. "'Tis but a flesh wound," She said, with some of her usual sarcasm. Truth was, it fucking hurt, and would need to be dealt with before the bone got a chance to heal wrong and have to be rebroken. Briefly, Glory wondered if hand bones could be replaced with metal or something instead of trying to basically put together a popsicle stick that met an untimely demise.
"I can't imagine you would be," She retorted with a snort. "My tactic? That's like, the first thing Sun Tzu would tell you. Haven't you ever read The Art of War?" Sure it was almost old enough to have survived the dinosaurs - it was really written in the 5th century BC, but to Glory, that time and before it were all lumped in with the dinosaurs - but it was quite fascinating and useful.
"Well if you don't start worrying about yourself every now and again, I guess I'll just have to take care of you," Glory said, trying to maintain an "aw darn" tone and half failing, "though by the looks of it, I'll be taking care of you anyway." That was not a problem, pretty much at all, once her hand and ribs were dealt with. Then Leo'd get her full attention.
"Deal," She said. Try not to die... not too hard, right? It wasn't too different from what she'd been doing most of her life, which was try not to die except in a cool way.
"Awww. Though, you know, there'll be plenty of that after we die if what I've been shouted at by street preachers is true," Glory said with a snort. Lovely thought.
"Yeah," She sighed. "Burns are generally harder... I'm more experienced with stab wounds." Fat lot of good that skill was, but Glory absolutely hated burns because of the way they insisted on hurting all the time. Stab wounds hurt for a while, yeah, but they were tolerable. It was the constant discomfort that led Glory to the idea that fire bad, no like fire.

Leo rolled his eyes at her sarcasm. "Not funny, Glory." He replied with a frown. It was SERIOUS- there was the distinct possibility of her never using her hand again. It was likely that it'd never work the same. It was unlikely that it'd get affected and have to be chopped off, but that was STILL a possibility. He was genuinely very concerned about it, and her ribs, much more so than he was about his burns. Although both things could very well be lethal. If his burns got infected he could die within hours, and if her ribs punctured her lungs, she could die within minutes. Then again, if he lost enough blood, which he had been slowly working towards, he could also die within minutes. Unconsciousness counts as dying if they never wake up and you aren't quite sure when their heart is beating and when it isn't.
"Hey, there are some genuinely scary people." He pointed out, in his defense. The shorter someone was, the more fury they crammed into a smaller space, ans therefore the more dangerous they were. "Oh shush. I've read it." He scoffed. "I apologize that I was preoccupied worrying about the one thing that I actually care about in the world." Yes, he cared about Lucy, and about Mori, but not in the same way.
"You are utterly failing at sounding disappointed." He smirked slightly, although it hurt the dagger wound on his cheek immensely. Well, his temple, cheek, jaw, and throat almost- the damn wound was like, 7 inches long. "YOU will not be taking care of me at ALL if your wounds are not taken care of." He growled, his eyes narrowing. "There is no, absolutely NO arguing about that." He didn't care if he had to limp to the goddamm hospital some hundreds of miles away, he was not risking her being injured for him. He gave her a look as she responded to his heartfelt speech in the worst way. "SOMEHOW you turned my sentimental words into a plea for help, thanks." He huffed quietly. "However, my comeback- as long as we're together, I don't care." Cheesist line ever, but if he flashed a charming smile and pretended like he wasn't in pain, he totally pulled it off.
As she mentioned how burns were harder and how she had more experience with dagger wounds, his jaw tightened slightly again. He had been badly burnt once before- when he was young, only 6 or so, their family barn had burnt down, and he barely made it out with his life. Afterwards, his father had screamed at him for leaving a lantern on. He literally did not have access to lanterns, per his father's instructions, so he had been working in the dark. When he argued his case... well, let's just say there may have been some alcohol being poured on burn wounds involved. To say the least, it would pass as torture. Felt like it, too. After that, he had always been sensitive to burns... so, of course, now, life decided to screw him over once again. It seemed a common occurrence these days.
He stayed silent for a couple long seconds before finally speaking. "... we can treat the dagger wounds first, then, while we think about the best course of action for the burns." He said with a faint smile that didn't reach his eyes.

"Come on, it's not THAT bad," Glory protested. It was. "I'm right-handed anyway, I really only use this one to flip people off." Which may be partly true, if it weren't for the fact she had a liking for dual-handed weapons. Like the claymore she'd lost. God dammit. That was one of her favorites, too. She'd have to find some way to get her stuff back, there was no way she'd let the Corrupted get away with that on top of everything else they'd done. No way in hell. She'd get her swords back, oh yes, and she'd make those fuckwads taste folded steel, see if she didn't.
"Mhm, myself included," Glory said, rather proudly, for whatever reason. She could be absolutely fucking terrifying when she wanted to be and was frightening and venomous by default. "Oh yes be very sorry, how dare you overlook one trivial thing, for shame Leo," She said in a partly scolding, partly disappointing tone.
"First, you've forgotten who you're talking to, YES there is arguing that," Glory retorted, "second, my wounds ARE taken care of, just fine." She held up her left hand, wrapped as best as possible in a scrap of still-damp cloth from when she'd washed it. "See? This's wrapped, and my ribs are still protected." Her hand was basically being held together by hopes and prayers, and her ribs, while yes covered by plate armor, it was scuffed and dented and badly beaten and on its last legs, and as soon as they got back to Libobon it was being taken to the blacksmiths as scrap metal, but she refused to take it off since it felt like it was all that was holding her skeleton together. And honestly, it could very well be. Yes the added weight was a pain in the ass, but she was well used to it.
Glory grinned proudly and said, "It's quite the skill." She rolled her eyes, but her smile never faded. "That's so cheesy it should come with a side of crackers."
Glory thought about Leo's words for a moment before she sighed and said, "No, I'd rather you don't suffer any more than you need to." She fell silent, staring fixedly through the floor, her jaw flexing and relaxing while she thought. She should know what to do here... "Aloe vera," She said after about a minute. "That'd be the easiest to find. Honey's great too for burns and preventing infection... St. John's Wort's also and antibiotic... Plantain's good for pain relief and inflammation..." So, the options were a) fight bees or b) wander around and hope to find the right plants. Great.

Leo gave her such a dry, deadpan look, it made the Sahara desert look like an inland sea. "For one, that's important. You jeed two hands to flip people off with. For TWO, if your hand fucking FALLS OFF because you said it was FINE I will CUT YOUR DOMINANT hand off and FEED IT TO A CORRUPTED." He threatened with a leveling glare. Yes he was threatening to chop her other hand off if she didn't take care of her already injured hand, no he didn't give a flying fuck.
"Not to me, but sure." He grinned, though the movement hurt. He refrained from calling her a cuddly teddy bear, like he WANTED to, since Keres was in the room, but he still implied it with the sparkle in his eyes. She was smart enough to figure out what he was thinking. He snorted quietly at her tone, then scowled. "No, there isn't. And no, they ARE NOT." He stated stubbornly. "Your wounds are arguably worse than mine, meaning they need to get thoroughly addressed first." He pointed out, frowning even more deeply at the badly bandaged hand. He clicked disapprovingly, much like a librarian would when a student was too loud. "I will rebandage the wound- you did a terrible job- and then you can help. That's a compromise." He pointed out. His burns could wait a little bit. "Sadly, there's nothing I c- wait a gol darn minute now." He stopped mid sentence, blinking. "Since we're rewrapping your hand anyway..." He muttered, grabbing her forearm, high enough up as to where it wouldn't hurt whatever she had most likely shattered. He pulled her hand closer, carefully pulling off the damp bloodstained cloth, wincing as his shoulder yelled at him for moving his arm. He made a face as he saw the hand- swelled, purple, blue, red, bloody, and horrible looking in general. "I can help." He finally stated, contemplating something for a moment. "And you CANNOT stop me."
Technically, he could help at the expense of his health, but that was a minor issue. "I apologize for not having crackers on site." He commented drily, lifting his eyebrows as she started naming things. "Aw, thanks Einstein. I know WHAT will help. Figured out how to get it?" He asked, shaking his head before focusing on his task at hand. No pun intended. "Do not move. You cannot stop me." He restated lowly, fingers carefully grazing over her hand and eyes narrowed in concentration. He had met a chap a while ago that had a power specifically used for healing- all sorts of healing. Two downsides- he couldn't use it on himself, and it was extremely taxing. But he was not going to let her hand be permanently disfigured, and he was not going to let her die from a punctured lung. He tightened his jaw as everything grew more blurry, but he kept focusing, practically rearranging the bones in her hand- without the pain. He did just enough as to where it was much more likely to heal correctly- it was still broken, but not completely destroyed. He then moved onto her ribs, concentration blending with weary exhaustion as he poured the rest of his energy into the much HARDER task. Her ribs were messed up, and the mere act of pulling them back to where they were supposed to be was extremely hard. When black edged in on his vision and he was on the brink of passing out, he finished his careful readjustments, retracting his hand and letting it flop to the ground as his eyelids drifted shut- he wondered how they got so damn heavy. "There." He mumbled. "Everything should.. at least.... heal correctly." Everything was so tired. It felt like exhaustion was weighing down his every skin cell, every ATOM. It was a risk, for sure, but a risk he'd take for her.

Glory scowled at Leo, since when did she need two hands? All she needed was one middle finger. "That's some bullshit, besides, what good would THAT do? You'll punish me for not taking care of my hand by GETTING RID of my OTHER hand? Real smart, Nastradamus," She huffed, though point taken. She'd make sure it was healed well enough to be usable and not look like a chicken foot. Probably.
"Well no, I never sa-" She started, then caught the look in his eye and glared at him. Oh hell no. She was NOT fucking cuddly. Usually. While there were rare exceptions, Glory chose to ignore that.
"YES, there ARE, and YES, they ARE," She argued, doubly stubborn. "I would argue that several square feet of third-degree burns are far worse than a few broken bones, and would GREATLY appreciate it if you'd reassess." His disapproving sound only made her more stubborn, for whatever reason, like a pony at the vet. Nuh-uh, no way, ain't gonna happen capp'n. "I did NOT, but fine," Glory huffed. She did what she could with what she had, and one-handed to boot. "No, no no no, that wasn't the deal, just rewrapping," Glory huffed, and started to pull away, but stopped at the sight of her hand. She sighed and relaxed. "Fine," She mumbled.
"Yeah be sorry, it's horrible," Glory said, rolling her eyes. Crackers sounded alright right about now. "As a matter of fact I do- I'm gonna go fight some bees." Not a terrible plan, all in all. Another eye roll, and she said, "Resistance is futile. You will be assimilated." (You're cool if you get that reference) She flinched as his fingers grazed her aching hand, but she held still. Leo was far more gentle than the healers at Libobon- there was one who was REALLY good with broken bones but had no sense of empathy whatsoever, so while he quick, it certainly wasn't painless. This however, was. It was the strangest sensation, and while Glory'd felt it before, she had a feeling one never got used to their bones moving around like that. Her ribs actually felt nice, likely because of the pressure easing off her lungs a little. It was now easy to breathe, and while not painless exactly, it was a far cry from how it had been. "Thank you," Glory said when he was finished. "Though I don't know why you'd do that to yourself." She gingerly rewrapped her hand, which hurt significantly less.

Keres wonder
Keres fooled down on the small couch just listening to Leo and glory. she dug through her bag and offered a pice of ham to the dog. who looked disappointed in Leo because he mentioned bacon and didn't have any for her. Pulling a string out of her bag she tied her dork blue hair up in a tail then looked at leo. "So why do you look like you'll fell into an oven" She knew he was likely fighting corrupted but how was he so burnt her head spun before she stopped dead hearing a cackle from the doorway
Ammit wonder
She landed with much grace as she tucked her wings in and began to look for three certain people. knowing two of them will be together. she walked until she found water there drawn in the rocks with ginger was a star with a arrow through it. "dammit keres" she hissed under her breath before following the trail of blood she saw a small log cabin and sat at the door she then laughed "Found ya"

Leo rolled his eyes. "You'll THANK ME one day when you're busy flipping off someone with your right hand and another jackass needs flippin' off on your left side and you can DO IT because you have TWO WORKING HANDS." He stated with a scoff. "You'll THANK ME one day when you're fighting a Corrupted with one of Ronan's beautiful weapons and you WIN because it was a two handed weapon and you could use TWO HANDS." He added extravagantly, then paused. "Also, what happened to those weapons? I will help you storm the fort if they're still in there, those things are damn works of god."
He chuckled lowly at her glare, pleased that she got it. He gave her a cheeky smile, indicating both that he had the upper hand and that she should be PROUD and THANKFUL that he didn't say it aloud.
"I don't care what you'd greatly appreciate, I care what's true. One wrong move and you could be dead right now. If I stayed alive for you, and CONTINUE to struggle to stay alive, then you need to at least TRY." He huffed quietly. He was almost getting used to the pain by now. He didn't know if that was a good thing or a bad thing. "Don't pull away." He grumbled quietly as she started to, glad when she stopped and relaxed a little. "Please don't go fight some bees. You'll get yourself even more hurt." He said quietly, rolling his eyes at her quote. (I didn't remember at first, since it's been a few years since I watched Star Trek- but I got it lol)
He frowned slightly as she flinched, guilt flashing across his face. He never meant to HURT her, he just needed to be touching the injured area- it made the process easier. After he finished, he was more worried than usual about the whole fact that all he wanted to do was fall asleep, but he hid the extent of his fatigue quite well. "You're welcome.
