General Anubis +++ Leo grinned faintly, looking rather pleased. He had a couple other good words to say, but he refrained, not wanting to offend her too terribly much. "Aww, thanks. I know you're usually in the mood for me-bone breaking, so I'm going to savor the non-pain." He chuckled, then nodded. "It is much more fun to not sit around." He agreed, then laughed. "I don't inflict pain! I just change your emotions to make you THINK you're in pain." He smirked, then turned his gaze back to the food. He ate it quickly, but didn't rush, savoring every bite, as he didn't get away from the campus much. He then downed the whole glass of water in a single gulp, letting out a refreshed sigh. "So much better. I'm awake."

Lieutenant Dwyer Glory grinned into her mug of hot chocolate as she took a sip, enjoying the warmth. She set the mug down, and replied, "Don't get too used to it, if you do, I'll just have to slam a dictionary shut and scare the sense back into you," with a sly smirk. "Fair, just like I can make you think Prince Charles came to aid you in battle." She took another drink of her hot cocoa, then tilted her head at Leo, "Oh, so you've been sleeping this whole time? I guess you really have perfected the art of sleeping vertically." With a small smile. Glory paused a moment, then said, "I feel like we ought to be heading back soon, but I really don't want to. . . What's the longest possible route we could take on the way back?"

General Anubis +++ Leo chuckled lightly. "Aw don't worry, I never get used to compliments or nice things. I only hear them every once in a blue moon." He snorted quietly, then laughed. "You really think I would believe your illusions? It's not like Prince Charlez is going to show up in the middle of a battle." He smirked, then grinned widely. "I have. I have perfected the art of sleeping upright and responding sarcastically." He agreed, then scowled slightly at the thought of heading back. However, he brightened as he remembered something. "You'll see." He chirped, standing up with the slightest wince, then heading out of the diner. He turned to the left instead of the right, heading towards a specific place that would eventually get them back. Only a little ways out, but far enough away from the town, the path gradually became smaller and the trees greener, then they came across a bright blue lake with the sun shimmering on the surface and green trees all around. "Welcome to the closest version of paradise I know of." He joked with a wide smile.

(Did Leo just dine 'n dash...? xD) Lieutenant Dwyer Glory smiled faintly, "Well, maybe I'll have to fix that, then." She let out a small laugh, before saying, "Not for a second. Maybe Charlemagne would be more believable." Glory stood and followed Leo out of the diner, leaving a handful of coins on the table.(Turns out this takes place in a medieval era, confirming the fact that Leo is a time traveler xD) They walked for only a short time before reaching the most beautiful place Glory had seen around the academy. It felt like it'd been plucked from a fairy tale and plopped right here. Glory gazed around a moment, trying to take in every detail at once. "It's lovely," She murmured softly, not coming up with anything else.

(MONEY IS NOT A PART OF THIS WORLD- *me trying to look over the fact Leo just stole* -sobs- XD) Leo paid two years ago, after explaining to the restaurant owner hes a time traveler and he would be coming back LOLLL) +++ General Anubis +++ Leo let his eyebrows just bout jump off the top of his head. "Couple problems with that.. I don't want you to accidentally die because you hurt yourself giving me compliments, can you even come up with a single compliment that will work, and are you trying to be nice? Are you okay?" He asked with fake concern, grinning. "Oh shush, you don't have to prove your a history professor." He rolled his eyes, annoyed that he had to rack his brain for a couple seconds to figure out who the he'll Charlemange was. After they had made it to the small lake, he smiled softly, the blue reflecting in his golden eyes. He glanced over at Glory with a small chuckle at her soft words. "It is." He agreed, bending down and picking up a smooth stone from the beach, then walking forward and slinging it across the water. It bounced five times before sinking- which was worse than he usually did. He closed his eyes for a moment, enjoying the feeling of the breeze- it was all so peaceful and different from the academy. (Them in paradise and poor Simara and Romanov just dying out there XD)

(Ikr??? He is so done with this rn- XD) 'General Rogue' Adrien Romanov -x- Adrien raised an eyebrow when he heard the words, 'interrogated.' Well, that's not good at all either. Considering they most likely wouldn't be given anything to eat without answering these things' questions. Great. He thought bitterly, looking over to Simara before shaking his head slightly. She had no idea how to read facial cues, why even try? He looked back at the academy, he just needed some way to let them know... Well, pish posh, if they weren't there tomorrow for the ceremony, he was 78% sure things would go to shit.

Lieutenant Dwyer Glory rolled her eyes at him, but grinned nonetheless. "I'd be more concerned about you accidentally dying upon receiving a compliment." She gave Leo a pointed look, and retorted, "I'm not a history professor, I just listened when the actual professor was talking. Most of the time... half the time." Glory watched as Leo lobbed a rock across the lake's surface, somewhat disappointed it didn't go further. "C'mon, you can do better than that. . . hopefully." Glory teased. She plucked a blade of grass and clutched it in both hands for a few seconds, focusing on it. When she let it go, it looked like a small, translucent, white horse with a single elegantly curved horn protruding from its delicate forehead. She held one hand out toward it, concentrating, and sent it prancing daintily in Leo's direction. She couldn't hold it for very long still, nor could she make it appear solid, but Glory decided its transparency would make it look all the more magical.

General Anubis +++ "Hey, I can accept compliments if I know they're heartfelt and true!" Leo protested, then grinned. "Yeah, right, you do realize I have recognized every single name you've thrown out there, which means I listened a little too, eh? You're the one that's bringing them up, which means you're the one that's weirdly interested in it." He teased, then rolled his eyes. "I CAN do better. That was a lumpy rock." He grumbled, searching longer for a completely smooth rock. When he found the perfect one, a nice size and weight, he picked it up and turned it over a few times before approaching the lakes edge. Pulling back, he chucked the rock forward in a smooth movement, sending it flying. One, two, three... 16 skips, plus a bunch of really tiny ones at the end he couldn't count. More satisfied, although he knew he could probably get a couple more skips in, he stepped back, glancing sideways as a slight breeze- a different one- appeared out of no where. With it, a transparent little illusion horse. Or.. unicorn? "Is that a horn? I didn't know Glory Sweet Dwyer was obsessed with unicorns." He teased lightly, smirking as he observed the little figure. "Still, quite impressive the amount of detail you formed there." Leo commented, wishing he could just magically poof up a cute little creature. He could conjure one, but it'd die, as he couldn't teleport tiny creatures through time and space without killing them. So he didn't.

Lieutenant Dwyer "How would you know if I'm being honest if you never get compliments?" Glory teased, then fell silent, unable to argue. His point was fair enough, but she wouldn't tell him that. She snorted at his next remark, and started, "Yeah, blame the ro- oh. Alright, that was impressive, I'll give you that." She went back to conentrating on the illusion, trying to coax it into being solid, but the best she got was little shimmer of solid, then back to being translucent. Glory grinned at his compliment, ignoring his previous comment about her being 'obsessed' with unicorns. "Thanks. It's frustrating not being able to make it look solid, though. Good for making ghosts though." She quipped with a sly smile. She wasn't obsessed with unicorns, Glory just though it'd be more fitting than something more terrifying. Glory tilted her head slightly, focusing again, and sent the illusion creature prancing around Leo, before she let go of it and it disappeared with a puff of white smoke, leaving the blade of grass she'd used to make it floating slowly to the ground.

General Anubis +++ "I don't. That's why it's hard to accept compliments." Leo snorted, smirking slightly as she didn't come up with an answer for his next point. Of course, she'd never say his words made sense, but they did. This was a rare occurrence, however. At her words, he grinned widely, looking absolutely thrilled. "Yeah, blaming the rock was appropriate blame. It was lumpy. That rock, that skipped 16 times, that was a good rock." He laughed, then re-focused in the illusion. It was a rather graceful one, and he was honestly impressed. "You're welcome. And you're still tired- it'll get better." He chirped, watching it for a moment. He then snapped his fingers twice, and a small chisel and a partially finished wooden house appeared. "I've been working on this for AGES now." He commented, chipping a couple more small pieces.
