General Anubis AKA: Craptain Jack Spare-Ribs +++ Leo wished cutting open his hands from the inside out didn't hurt as much, but it did. No such luck there. It was an easy way to scare people, though. No pain no gain, right? "Useful indeed. Especially when trying to torture someone. Since it isn't an illusion in the first place, it doesn't take as much energy to make it solid." He smiled faintly, the tiny illusion of a deer prancing around appearing, slowly solidifying and landing on Glory's shoulder, its hooves warm to the touch. "I WAS going to use it as a secret weapon in battle against you, but I guess that won't work now." He grinned. He didn't like using the ability, as it was extremely taxing, but it was his favorite ability. He worked it more than the others, but mostly in secret. He didn't really want others to know about it. As she spoke, he glanced at her with a slightly bewildered look. Why would she go from torture Glory to Glory he hadn't seen before? A reverse insult? Miracle? Rare moment? He wasn't quite sure what to decide it meant. "Enough about me, are you more okay now? You looked a little woozy coming out of there." Genuine concern laced his voice, but he was rather glad she looked a little better now. More.. awake? That wasn't really the right word. She had looked dreamy in a bad way. Realizing something, he frowned. "Now my gloves are torn." He grumbled. "I don't want to sew them together." Leo groaned quietly. That was 8 different inch long slices he'd have to patch up.

Lieutenant Dwyer Glory sighed a little and said, "With illusions, I have two choices; I either make the illusion itself solid for hardly a second and pass out, or I fill it with darkness and try to move the 'skeleton' underneath the illusion simultaneously, neither of which is easy." It was like trying to work a marionette, but with another directly on top of it in a 4 dimensional plane, and both had to move in perfect sync. She was feeling notably better now, as though whatever hole there was had been sealed and she was filling back up. That was how she thought of her energy, or whatever you wanted to call it. Like an ever-flowing source, emptiable but almost always refills. Almost. She smiled as a tiny deer alighted on her shoulder, reaching up with one hand to scratch the little creature under the chin. Of course, it wasn't real, but she couldn't help it; she had an affinity for deer. "Oh please, nothing I can't counter," She said, grinning. Actually, if he pulled something like that mid-fight, there was a CHANCE that he'd win by it. She thought for a moment at his question before saying, "Well, I'm not sure I was ever okay to begin with, but I'm alive and whole, which I'd call good enough." She was feeling more like her mind and body were tethered firmly together again, less... detached. She glanced back at his hands as he grumbled and chuckled softly. "Could be worse. Although... I could sew them for you, if you'd like," She offered. Sewing was just another of the skills she'd learned out of necessity, although, being a perfectionist, she'd gotten pretty good. General Anubis AKA: Craptain Jack Spare-Ribs +++ "Both sound as difficult as you make them out to be. Which is why I prefer just making the item." Leo smirked. He did feel a little bad for her, though. He had never tried to do what she did, because he hadn't.. had to, but he guessed it was rather difficult. Probably more so than she claimed. A slight smile came to her face as she scratched the deer, and he couldn't help but turn his smile the tiniest bit evil. "It's name is Jaws." He said about at the same time as the deer grinned, revealing a wide mouth of razor sharp teeth far too big for its skull. It didn't take barely any energy to keep this up, so Leo left it, or rather, had Jaws lay down on her shoulder and snuggle into her neck. Softest fur, sharpest fangs. "Sometimes I wonder if the little animals I create have a mind of their own." He mused, then chuckled. "Of course not. With all of your almighty egotistical ways and tons of experience." He commented with a snort. "Don't lie, you were always much LESS than okay. Tsk tsk." He rolled his eyes, but accepted her answer. She looked more normal, anyway. Her normal. Not normal normal. "Could be worse." He agreed with a sigh, then raised an eyebrow. "Are you suggesting I can't sew as well as anyone else?" He joked lightly. "I shan't accept any help- it'll take mere minutes if I decide to do it someday o'er the rainbow." He finished with a wry smile, casting a small glare at his hands one last time before letting them drop completely to his sides, ignoring the stinging pain from his shoulder. Different wound, different place.

Lieutenant Dwyer "Eh, good way to combat insomnia," Glory said. Not that she had insomnia, just that every now and again she just... didn't want to sleep. "Jaws... fitting name," She mused, smiling back at Jaws. She stroked its tiny body as it curled up on her shoulder, reveling in its silky fur, not bothered in the slightest by its smile. She nodded at his words, Jaws' downy fur rubbing lightly against her cheek, and said, "My little creatures seem like that too, and the more I use them, the more personality they grow. It's like... like they're real, and I just channel them." That was the best way to put it, and after a while, they almost didn't seem to be a figment of her imagination anymore. That... may cause questionable sanity on Glory's part eventually, but that didn't matter all that much. "Egotistical..." She repeated, shaking her head. "First malnourished, now this? Disrespectful." Actually, 16 or so years ago, malnourished was the exact word to describe Glory. "No, I was always MY idea of okay, not yours," She corrected. In terms of physical condition, Glory usually had slightly lower standards than other areas. Sprained wrist? Pfft, no problem, she needed practice with a single-handed weapon anyway. "Not at all, you just said you didn't want to," She huffed. Somehow, he was good at being difficult. She turned her head at the sound of Flash's voice echoing down the halls, Jaws' fur brushing her face again. She wanted to go torment Ammit, but it turns out the Four's-a-Crowd and The Bone Collector had taken more energy out of her than she'd realized, and was growing tired. She looked to Leo for an answer, a 'Do we/Don't we?" look on her face. He was better than many at answering her silent questions, which certainly made some things easier.

General Anubis AKA: Craptain Jack Spare-Ribs +++ Leo snorted quietly at her words, then smiled at the little animal. He had had Jaws come to life before.. it had been a while ago, though. It usually wasn't the animal Leo preferred. Axl was his favorite creation. That was a story for another time, however. "It is like they're real." He agreed quietly, thinking about the massive personality Axl had aquired. He should not have put as much thought into that pet. Or, killing machine. Whichever you prefer. He grinned slightly as she spoke, looking amused. "Hey, I can't be giving out reverse insults all the time! Gotta go with some good old reverse compliments every now and then." He smirked. At her comment, he rolled his eyes, not bothering to argue. It would do no good. "Correct. I don't take joy in sewing, especially myself. Thankfully these gloves don't have nerves in them. However, since you seem to see me as having an ego the size of space, I guess I'll have to live up to that standard." He smiled, a bit evilly. No one insulted him without getting what they asked for. Except for the braincell thing, cause if he acted as idiotic as she said he was, he'd have stuck his head in a pot of boiling water to see if it was hot enough and died already. As Flash called, Leo glanced sideways, frowning slightly- only out of the annoyance of having to make another decision. Especially when Glory just gave him it. While Jaws was frantically nudging her ear for more attention, he contemplated the pros and cons. HE personally would be fine with going back in, at least for a little bit, but he didn't want Glory outdoing it and he knew for a fact she didn't really care about her physical well being. Which meant he had to. He turned to walk over to the cell where Flash was. "We may have used a wee bit too much energy when interrogating-" He paused to think torturing, a small smile coming to his face. Not the 'aww Jaws is cute' kind. The 'hehe torturing people is fun' kind. "The other Corrupted. Can you do this one without us?" He asked, finishing.

Flash Wallis Flash heard Leo's footsteps approaching. 'You guys don't want to torture and question Ammit?,' he gasped incrediuosly. 'That's definately not what i expected. I dunno, you guys are better then me at torturing'.

Lieutenant Dwyer Jaws reminded Glory of her own deer, Chad, to some degree, though smaller and with bigger teeth. And way softer, like a kitten. "Well, yours are, aren't they? How'd you do this?" She asked, still petting Jaws. "Hey, 'almighty' is still a reverse insult, especially considering my initials. Ever noticed they're literally 'GOD'?" She retorted. (This was unintentional, btw) Most of her weapons, especially the custom ones, had either GOD or 'dhia', Scots Gaelic for God, a sort of pun on Glory's part. "If they did, you might sew them more often just for something to torture," She snorted. It'd be terribly annoying if the gloves screamed, though. Just a constant high-pitched 'Eeeeeeeeeeeeee' with every stab of the needle. She smiled to herself at Jaws' persistence, scratching under his chin and behind his itty-bitty ears. She meandered off toward Leo and Flash in time to hear Flash's response, and she told him, "Not that we don't want to, I just... had too much fun with another Corrupted. Came up with some little things I call the Four's-a-Crowd and The Bone Collector." She was still way more proud of those things than any normal person should be, though rather pleased Flash admitted that she and Leo were good at torturing. Not that that was something to be proud of either, though.

General Anubis AKA: Craptain Jack Spare-Ribs +++ "It's a specific ability I came along a couple years ago. Someone named Derek could form whatever live thing he could think up. He was using it to terrorize a town. I took joy in smacking him upside the head." He smiled with slight pleasure, then let out a small scoff. "I did notice that, Miss Know It All, I just don't care." He snorted. He then grinned slightly, chuckling. "That would be rather horrible. I prefer torturing people, not terrorizing innocent gloves." Leo sniffed haughtily, thinking about how absolutely traumatizing that would be. Wake up In the middle of the night to hear them complaining about a finger ache. Yikes. "Too much fun." He agreed. He waited for Flash's answer, which was along the lines of 'I can fare myself, go rest' (or something like that....) and then he turned to go... he didn't know where. First things first, however, he wrestled off the vest, disliking the trapped feeling. He draped it over his arm, a little relieved to feel familiar loose, airy feeling of the flannel shirt.

Lieutenant Dwyer "Sounds like a Derek thing to do," She said with a snort. "And now you use it for tiny fluffy deer?" Jaws was much cuter than what she'd expect from Leo, though maybe that was partly because she was biased toward deer, and he knew that. She frowned at his words, saying, "I know 'Miss Know It All' is supposed to be an insult, but with my Could-be-English-professor status, I'll take it as a reverse insult." Actually, Glory was pretty sure she wouldn't enjoy being a teacher of any kind all that much, unless she got to teach survival skills. She snorted, glanced down at his hands again, and said, "Oh come on, it'd be a good rainy day activity." That way everyone within the vicinity can hear your gloves' tiny screams echoing down the halls. "I have a better idea for a duel- wanna have a pillow fight?" She asked. That way nobody'd get hurt whatsoever, but Glory could still wallop Leo real good. She was already plotting different whack attacks, though the height difference made it a bit more difficult.
