Jensen | Admin | Cam, Will "Did you know that there are over eight hundred species of tree frogs living on every continent except Antarctica?" To drown out the constant regurgitation of animal facts, Jensen had taken to going up and down Spencer's family tree in his mind in order to curse out every person who had led to the creation of this moment. "Do you even know how many that is?" "No." "If you take 799 species and add one, that's how many." "Wow, I'm cured. It's time for me to quit eventing and become the veterinarian I deserved to be. Better yet, I'm coming to put you out of a job." "Oh yeah?" Jensen bumped Will's side as they approached the barn. "Tell me this then. You ask me for seventy three cents, and I give you a dollar. Now what happens?" "Well, can you buy a lot with seventy three cents?" "Exactly." Although Will's attention soon wandered off again toward one thing or another, Jensen's immediately caught onto the sight of a man who appeared familiar to him, a former polo player who seemed to have disappeared off the face of the earth after an injury or something of the sort. The facts all jumbled together, and Jensen didn't really keep up with equestrian news. Slightly in polo, but not enough to know anything. In fact, he barely knew how famous Spencer had become as a show jumper, and that was more because of the family business and the way the public treated her than any research he'd done. Because, he hadn't googled her once, of course... With Will gone, Jensen felt free to interact with the man, not fearing an association to one of the most annoying riders in the world to taint his former acquaintance's image of him. He leaned against the horse's stall, peering in at the young man. "What's a top athlete like you doing rotting away in a hell hole like this?" Upon seeing Sam, Jensen had the closest thing to a smile on his face that had been seen in a while. That was another reason he wanted Will nowhere nearby. He'd had a lot of crazy nights with Sam in his polo career, as they all did. Not that he could remember many of them, of course.

Heather Storm | 23 | Eventing | Bronze Buckaroo "Eclipse" and The Lovely Marisol "Etria" | School Horse: WO Descendants Of Khan "Khan" | Mentions: Cam, Will and Jensen. Heather would be getting her bags out of the backseat of her truck, double checking everything while setting one suitcase and a duffle bag down on the ground, wiping her hands clean on her faded blue shorts. " Okay, that should be everything I believe? Hmm I should probably check the trailer again, just to make sure that I didn't leave anything in there." The brunette said to herself before making her way over to the back of her trailer to check...after almost tripping over her suitcase of course, she did managed to catch herself tho...after a few stumbles forward. The short woman stepped up on the reopened trailer ramp to look inside one last time but before she stepped inside, she heard a few voices which caught her attention. "Hm?" She hanged back slightly to see three men and a horse with them...they were talking about something but she couldn't exactly hear what though. She blinked a few times with a curious look in her green eyes, "Did they just get here as well?" Heather softly said to herself. She started to mess with her nails slightly, already starting to feel anxious since she didn't want to step on anyone's toes or leave a bad impression on anyone either, one thing is for sure tho....she didn't realize that she was accidentally staring at the group the whole time since the brunette is zoning out into her anxious thoughts. Jason | 22 | SJ | Heather, vaguely will/jensen/cam This, Jason decided, was actually the best possible turn of events. After arriving a week early - an error that surely couldn't have happened, given that Rena, queen of making no mistakes, had booked his plane ticket immediately after hearing about this opportunity - the farm had quickly become boring once again. At least Alberta had had other riders; this place was practically a ghost town. He'd even managed to miss Julian, who was a bit too driven in general but an absolute blast drunk, who'd left a week before. On some business trip or something - business, schmusiness. Jason was convinced that it was just a ploy to avoid seeing him again, because of some long-harboured attraction Julian felt for him. The poor guy was too scared to accidentally confess his love to him that he flew across the Atlantic! (There was a long-lasting Shakespearean trope in there somewhere, surely.) In his absence, though, and in the absence of any major authority figure before nepotism baby Will arrived, he'd had his own kind of fun. While even the neighbouring town was desolate, the residents at the old age home had certainly been enthralled by his adventures as a five-time Olympian (winning gold every time), natural horseman extraordinaire, and most importantly, president's secret bastard son. (On second thought, that last one seemed too unbelievable. No person in their right mind thought Biden got bitches, did they?) Now, standing at the edge between the parking lot and what had once been a lawn, acting for all intents and purposes like he owned the place, he glanced around at the newcomers. (Already, the single week he'd been here ahead of them had set him apart.) He didn't waste time greeting Will or the bulldog-looking dude next to him - they'd met at some point, he thought, and wasn't particularly intrigued by either. Will and him would be BFFs by the end of this fix-it project, he was convinced, but for now, he kept his distance. (He didn't know how fast news flew, but he was 90% sure he crashed into Emily's car on his way to the airport, and he didn't want any misplaced anger to be directed at him.) No, he went straight to the person who was puzzling him, just a little bit: a short auburn who was staring down Will's gang with such ferocity he was sure she wanted to either fuck one of them of fuck one of them up. Whichever one, he was a bit offended he hadn't been the target of her anger/lust. Jason leaned in conspiratorially, a vicious grin on his face. "Which one?" She stared at him blankly. His face fell. "My sister in Christ, you've been staring at them for like two consecutive hours now. What's the attraction?" Edited at February 11, 2024 04:30 PM by Tanglewood

Heather Storm | 23 | Eventing | Bronze Buckaroo "Eclipse" and The Lovely Marisol "Etria" | School Horse: WO Descendants Of Khan "Khan" | Mentions: Jason (Indirectly: Cam, Will and Jensen.) Heather snapped out of her anxious thoughts when she heard a masculine voice say which one? The brunette looked over at the man with a puzzled look on her face. "Which one what?" She asked, seemingly confused at first but it very shortly clicked of what Jason meant, taking his words in as her face was almost as red as a tomato. "Oh uh sorry, I didn't mean to stare at them. I was just lost in thought about something and I guess I didn't realize that I kinda zoned out in their general direction." The short woman nervously explained herself while picking at her nails again out of anxious habit. "Did you also just get here like the others?" Heather curiously asked, gesturing towards the group while her face was back to its normal colors. "Oh uh sorry, where are my manners. I'm Heather, pleasure to meet you! and you are?" She sweetly said with a kind smile on her face. Normally the brunette would be in her riding clothes instead of her casual wear but she decided to let it slide for just this once since the brunette was worried about getting here late since it's a long drive from Denvor, Colorado.
