Nastasya Xenia Volkov/ 1st year/ show jumping, cross country, pleasure riding, in-hand showing/ Thunder's Striker and Lightning Crasher/ 17. Nastasya had braided Lightning Crasher's tail, and put a pink ribbon in her tail, as Lightning Crasher was a broodmare, and in season. She sat beside her mare, looking through her email at tons, upon tons, of strangers wanting to breed to her mare, and use her stallion as a stud, despite Thunder's Striker not being a stud for breeding yet. | |

Austin Carter 17. 1s Year. CF Hallow Wind aka Mav. Hunter Showing, Equitation, Polo. - Austin had slowed Mav down to a walk 15 minutes earlier, after going through a few manuvers and getting the stallions mind occupied, the blue roan's eyes content and mouth working. Once he was nearly all fry, not sweaty, Austin hopped down and led him through the gate. The stallions head was low now, ears idle and pace slow. Austin sighed "Pleasure horses." Before leading Mav past Barn A towards Barn B. In his peripheral vison, he saw a girl putting a ribbon in a mares tail. And of course, being the lazy bum he was, not a nicker or flick of an ear. Austin had always appreciated how the stallion barley had an intrest in mares. Of course, it had made it harder to get some foals out of him, but still. He was a nice, flashy, and friendly stallion, and had already been proven to throw colts with good color, temperment, and height. The 2 he sired the previous year had already won 1st in some yearling shows, even. - Once Mav was back in his stall, door closed, Austin slipped the headstall off his head and bit out of his mouth. He slid the bridle onto the horn, then loosened his cinch, tied it and the latigo up, the took his saddle and saddlepad off. The stallion was still slightly sweaty under the saddle pad, so once he had his saddle and saddle pad on his stand he grabbed a metal curry and curried the stallions back till he was dry. - After he's rewarded Mav and latched the stall door when he stepped out, he sat on the tack box, rubbing a hand over his face. God, he was tired. Why did he bring a young horse (that had to be ridden everyday) instead of an older one? Who knew. But he both did and didn't regret it. |

Austin Carter. 17. 1st Year. CF Hallow Wind aka Mav. Hunter Showing, Equitation, Polo. - Austin didn't even get a 3 minute break before his phone rung. He groaned as he saw 'Mom' pop up on the screen. He aswnered anyways. "Hey, Mom." "Yes, I got here fine." "Yes, I'm all settled." "No, Mav didn't die on the flight." "Yes, he's been ridden." "No, I'm not going to fly him back over for break." "Mother. Chill." Then his dad cuts in with a sigh: 'Amanda, let the boy breathe' "Thanks, Dad." "Yes, I'm going to eat soon." "GoodBYE, Mom." And then he hung up before his mom could start ranting. - He checked his email next, and as usual, full of people either looking to buy some of his other show horses he left back home, get frozen straws from his family from Mav or some of their other stallions, ect. He always replied to the people his family knew, since Carter Farms was big in the pleasure horse world, but the rest of them got forwarded to his dad. - Mav pulled him back to reality when he nudged him shoulder, and Austin chuckled and said, "Yeah, yeah, you goof. Just a few more hours till your fed." |

She whistled, and Lightning Crasher immediately started galloping, her stride a whopping 35 feet. The jet black Thoroughbred mare was happy, her ears forward, her old racehorse persona coming out. Nastasya was timing her, and so far, Lightning was going at a recrod breaking 76 MPH. | | |

Melissa smiled and made sure she had what she wanted and then said "thank you again" she said and took her things. |
