Lisa Andrews || 1st year || F || M: She doesn't really talk but, Kieran || Just A Rainy Day || CR: Keefe, it takes a while though Lisa walked over to the edge of an arena where a beautiful mare and a girl were training. She smiled, waiting until the girl looked over she waved at her kindly, petting Rain once again and handing her a peppermint. Lisa was watching the girl, waiting to see what she's going to do. She did slightly hope this was Kieran, due to them being dormmates. They hadn't even talked yet. - Rain took the peppermint, munching it happily and snorting. She saw another mare and pinned her ears a bit. Not as much if it was a stallion or gelding though. She was staring at the mare and her person curiously. Her ears flopping as she chewed the peppermint.

Kieran Solomon || 16 || Exchange Student || RAJ Die Sonne || M: Lisa As she was walking to the caferteria, she noticed the girl that was watching her from the sidelines of the arena. Calling out, Kieran tried inviting her to sit with her for lunch "Hi! I'm Kieran! Want to come sit with me for lunch?" She asked, hopeful. Making friends was a little bit difficult for Kieran due to her differance in ethnicity, but she was hoping this girl wouldn't care so much. Her mind drifted. I hope my roommate doesn't care, either. It would be awkward having someone hateful as a roommate. Kieran waited patiently for a reply.

Lisa Andrews || 1st year || F || M: Kieran || Just A Rainy Day || CR: Keefe, it takes a while though Lisa noticed the girl who invited her over, her roommate, Kieran. She walked over and sat across from the other girl. "Hello, lovely to meet you. I'm Lisa." She introduces herself. "You wanted to eat with me?" She also asked, beginning to eat a little as she waited for an answer. The food wasn't bad. It has nice. - (Sorry it's so much shorter now.) Edited at January 12, 2024 12:45 PM by Oakwood Barn

Liberty Norris ✴ Female ✴ 1st Year | 15 ✴CR: Ryker (eventually) ✴Golden Dahlia ✴ M: Estelle | Ryker - Liberty was relieved when Ryker got the joke. "It's only a one-letter difference. Believe me, lots of people have made that mistake too." She listened as Ryker said his next words. "Being afraid of cats makes sense, though. They're unpredictable! Hay nets don't even move unless you touch them! But yes, if a horse didn't have a weird personality, I'd be worried." She listened as Ryker explained why he didn't ride his horse, Dash, quickly. "I would probably die if Dahlia got hurt that bad... Her life is going around barrels at a gallop." Liberty wondered how Dash had gotten hurt, but she didn't want to ask. "And I can't imagine doing anything on a horse that has to do with cattle. I'd be horrible at penning and so on. You don't wanna see me try it." Liberty glanced behind her, hearing a bell. It must be time for dinner she thought, wondering if she should go or not.

Caden Flores |:| 15 |:| Single (PM) |:| SF Jazz Town |:| M: Hunter - Cade walked with Hunter over to Jazz. He began to scratch Jazz's neck, hearing the stallion grunt softly. "This is Jazz, or Jazz Town. He gets pretty jealous as you saw but he's a sweetheart." Cade listened to Hunters proposal. The horses were probably in need of work, and a warm up ride to get them used to the space outside of lessons would do them good. "Sure, that sounds great!" Hunter walked over to his own horse and Cade grabbed Jazz's grooming box. "Heya bud." Cade wispered as he began to brush him with the curry comb. Since today was the first ride Cade brushed everywhere, wanting Jazz to look grey instead of brown. He grabbed his hard brush and flicked away all the dirt and stable stains. He shined Jazz up with a soft brush and went to pick his feet. Jazz was a chilled out horse so Cade never really bothered haltering him in his stall. When Cade was done he went to the tack room and grabbed his tack.

Ryker Rivera [] M [] 16 [] CR: Liberty (eventually) [] Dashing To Freedom [] M: Liberty Ryker was glad that Liberty seemed a little more open, though he was rather distracted now talking about the horses. Anything having to do with the equines and he was immediately hooked. "Nah, it doesn't make much sense. In any case, you are very correct. A horse without some quirks isn't as good as a horse with them in my opinion." Ry agreed, nodding slightly. He chuckled slightly at her words about Dahlia. It made sense. "Understandable... Dash has never really lived up to his name. We do easy cross country, just for the fun in it, but he lives with cattle." He nodded slightly, laughing a little. As the bell tolled for dinner Ryker's head flipped around, as if he was startled. "Must be time to eat." He mused, to himself. "It was nice talking to you, Liberty. Thanks for putting up with me." Ry turned back to her, his voice cheerful as he turned Dash around. "See you later!" He saluted as a joke, urging Dash into a jog so they could make it back to the barn faster. Once there he dismounted and untacked his horse, giving the stallion a good brushing. Edited at January 13, 2024 12:53 PM by Wild West Warmbloods

Liberty Norris ✴ Female ✴ 1st Year | 15 ✴CR: Ryker(eventually) ✴Golden Dahlia ✴ M: Estelle | Ryker (I'm gonna hope it's okay to reply even though it's a Work In Progress) - Liberty smiled at Ryker's stubborness that Dash being afraid of cats was weird. She supposed it was, at least a little bit. Liberty listened to what Ryker said about Dash and shivered jokingly. "Ugh. Cross-Country. I mean, I guess it's a little similar to Endurance, but like, way more dangerous. Also, it's not really a Western sport! But, actually," Liberty said, switching to a conspiritorial tone and nudgig Dahlia closer to Dash, "I'm thinking of quitting Endurance because it's also not Western, and Dahlia doesn't like it very much." Liberty pulled back, realizing how close she had gotten to Ryker. She suddenly felt red in the face and nervous. "Um- I'd better go to dinner- bye." Liberty yanked Dahlia around so fast that the poor horse nearly fell off the path. She urged Dahlia into a canter, forgetting that she was bareback, and ran Dahlia back to the stable, where she put her in her stall and jogged quickly to the mess hall.

(Agh I am SO SORRY I completely forgot about that! Fixing it now! And this post will kinda go back in time a little to answer Liberty then go forward again LOL) Ryker Rivera [] M [] 16 [] CR: Liberty {Eventually} [] Dashing To Freedom [] M: Liberty Ryker grinned a little as Liberty seemed opposed to the idea of Cross Country. "Hey, it was Show Jumping, Dressage, or Cross Country. Which makes the most sense?" He chuckled, nodding at the *not a Western sport* comment. "Correct, but we do it in a Western saddle. As a said, it is just for fun, so Dash and I take it easy." He commented, tilting his head slightly at her second comment. "Endurance is interesting, in my opinion, but I would have to agree it might not be the best competetive sport for a Western horse." Ry answered, flinching back slightly as Liberty's mare drew in closer. "Bye then-" He mumbled. After he had untacked and brushed Dash down, Ryker hauled a heavy waterbucket into the stall, clipping it up. Throwing a flake of hay in, he walked out, glancing around for any sign of Liberty and seeing none. Shrugging it off, even though worry still itched underneath, Ryker went to the cafeteria. He grabbed some food and went to sit down at a back table, wreathed in shadows... almsot as if he was hiding from the rest of the world. Edited at January 13, 2024 01:00 PM by Wild West Warmbloods

Clayton Levine || 1st Year || M || WW He Costa Big Chex || M:Open - Clayton eventually made his way back to the barn dismounting Strut. He led the grey into the barn and to the crossties and began brushing him. The stallion nickered and wiggled his lips as Clayton brushed a spot on his side "Does that feel good buddy?'' He laughed quietly at the horse. He unhooked the crossties leading the grey into his stall. He checked his food and water and began heading towards the dorms. He opened the door and soon realized his roomate had arrived while he was gone. He quickly got a shower and changed his clothes as he was quite dusty. He grabbed his silver flannel and put on the biggest belt buckle he owned and walked out. Clayton began walking towards the area that lunch would be served and sat at a table by himself.

Liberty Norris ✴ Female ✴ 1st Year | 15 ✴ CR: Ryker {eventually} ✴ Golden Dahlia ✴ M: Estelle | Ryker - After getting her food, Liberty found a small table and slid into one of the seats, thinking about home and Dahlia. She also thought about this school and the end-of-year championship thing. After about 5 minutes of all thinking and no eating, Liberty decided it would be best for her to apologize to Ryker. she didn't know how she would say it or what she was apologizing for, but she knew she needed to do something. She wanted to keep the first friendship she had found here. Liberty took her food tray filled with *something* and walked sheepishly up to the table Ryker was sitting at. "Hi... Can I sit here?" Liberty asked, motioning to the seat across from the boy.
