Name: Her mother named her Deltaya, but the name the humans gave her, and the name she normally goes by, is Delta.

Appearance:

Personality: Delta is a very hardworking horse, which makes her useful for different tasks around the ranch. She is very calm and collected, and very rarely ever acts out in anger or fear. However, during rides, she can sometimes get riled up and increase her speed. She hates needles, and whenever the vet comes to vaccinate the horses or draw blood, someone often has to distract her or help hold her still. Due to her trusting nature, she isn’t used to being betrayed, and if it happens, it takes a while for her to get over it. She is very steadfast, standing by her friends and allies through thick and thin.

Backstory: Both Delta's mother and father were from the prairie herd, and before she was born, multiple horses from that herd had been captured. Her mother was one of these, but her father was not. She gave birth to Delta shortly after being captured, and the stress it put on the mare weakened her for some time. However, Delta grew up strong, being cared for by both her mother and the humans. As she started to become an adult, she was trained to carry people, and was trained specifically to herd cattle, sheep, and a few other animals. When she turned three, her mother was transferred to a nearby ranch, and although Delta often missed her, she was still able to see her mother every so often.
