Full Name Lennox Hardy. Age 16-and-a-half years old. Sexuality Bisexual (if she has a preference for one gender or the other, it's too slight to be noticeable). Pronouns She/her Role At Serenity Junior rider. Riding Experience Lennox has been riding since she was ten and competing since she was twelve. She was an asset to the show jumping team of her previous barn, Iron Ridge Stables. Discipline(s) Show jumping. Reputation For better or worse, Lennox's reputation precedes her. She is known around the stables she used to compete against, either from riders who have met her personally, or those who have heard of her. They all will more or less agree that she's an unshakable beast in the show ring. A real force of nature. Appearance Lennox is a woman of sharp angles and balanced proportions. Powerful and refined. Robust shoulders taper off into a slim but sturdily-built waist, narrow hips, and long, sleek legs. She stands at an imposing height of 5'10. Her face is of medium-length and a square shape, with a proportional length and width, along with a strong jaw. She has fierce, upturned eyes that are light brown in color. Her nose is short and pointy at the end, as if constantly sticking it up in the air with distate and scorn. Lennox has hair that is styled in thick layers, extending a little past her shoulders, a dense fringe going across her forehead. When she's out riding, she manages to tame it into a ponytail. Color-wise, it is an almond-colored blonde. Cool-toned, with lighter streaks. Her clothing varies depending on the occasion but can all be summed up with one word: smart. She dresses smartly. During competitions, she will be dressed in a dark-colored blazer paired with snow-white breeches. Outside of the show ring, she wears her breeches in tan, paired with a clean-cut collared shirt in either short or long sleeves. She always wears black boots, which seem to be a statement piece of hers. Personality Lennox is a product of her own circumstance and flaws. She wasn't, let's say, as financially well-endowed as the other riders at Iron Ridge Stables. In fact, she used to care for the horses in exchange for riding lessons, until her mother found a different job (same career) and could more comfortably support her daughter's "horsey life," as she would call it. Much to Lennox's annoyance. Still, Lennox would always be considered the "poor girl of Iron Ridge". And instead of amputating those people from her life, she tried (and still tries) to fit in. This is obvious by the way she dresses, how she acts, with a sense of superiority and looking down on her rivals. But it seems there's a part of her that isn't just acting to impress other people. Maybe she's been judged that she's now the one who judges, to show everyone that she's not weak, that she can't be broken no matter how much scorn is thrown her way (of course, this doesn't justify her behavior). Lennox has an unwavering spirit for competition, for winning. She's dead-set on success and you can either step aside or she'll force her way around you. She's highly independent and self-sufficient, often believing that her way is the right one. The only people she'll ever listen to, are riding instructors or trainers. Lennox seems to think that people who try to help her, don't have good intentions, and are intent on sabotaging her. She has a cynical maturity that seems to go beyond her years, a jaded awareness which stems from having to grow up at a young age. She has a sense of responsibility that you can both admire and be exhausted by, never allowing a crumb of spontaneity. All work, no play. In spite of her outward composure, the overwhelming need to succeed lights a fire within her that can seep through the cracks as a blazing temper. When Lennox explodes, it's violent and sudden, not even she can control herself. What brings them to Serenity? The show jumping team's head trainer "recommended" (a more professional way of saying forced) that Lennox come here for an attitude adjustment after she, erm, attacked another rider. Lennox doesn't like to talk about it. Anyways, the belief is that having to pull her weight and do some hard work, then going back to her roots and competing in lower-level shows, will help Lennox change for the better. Backstory Lennox was raised in a modest, detached little home on the outskirts of London, living in a sleepy surburb right next to the countryside. She grew up loving horses from a young age, riding the ones that belonged to her friends who lived in the nearby rural area. Lennox wouldn't own a horse until she was 11. Her parents had scraped together enough money to buy her one, an apology for the distress their marital troubles had been causing her. However, the problems between her parents worsened, and her gelding had become her confidant. At age 12 she had thrown herself into competing as a distraction. She had some interest in show jumping before then, but her turbulent home life had pushed her into it, and quickly became invested in the discipline. When Lennox was 13, her parents divorced, and as if it couldn't get any worse, her mother had to sell Lennox's horse. She couldn't support herself, her daughter, and and aging animal that needed medication she simply couldn't afford. The one relief, was that Lennox could still compete, and used a warmblood owned by Iron Ridge until two years later. Her mother had gotten back on her feet and bought Lennox the horse that she is currently using to this day. Affiliations Lydia Montgomery — Lennox's mother, who she lives with. William Hardy — Lennox's father. Jacinda Wilson — The head trainer of Iron Ridge's show jumping team. Horse Try Your Luck Registered Name Try Your Luck Barn Name Fortuna Age 6 years old. Gender Mare. Breed English Thoroughbred. Appearance Standing at 16-hands and weighing 1,200 pounds, Fortuna is a lean, mean speed-demon. She has long legs and a muscular, athletic build. Built for being swift and possessing endurance. Which makes sense, after all, she used to be a racer. Her coloration is seal bay — a nearly black coat with visible tan points around her muzzle, flanks, eyes, and underbelly. She has a short, sleek, aerodynamic coat that appears shiny and smooth. Her mane and tail have fine, thin hairs. The mane is kept short, giving her a presentable appearance. Strengths High Physical Speed Agility Eager To Work Dedicated Challenges Prone To Stress Skittish Fragile (Susceptible to tendon and ligament injuries) Temperamental Discipline Racing (previously), show jumping (current). Experience Little experience, actually. Fortuna started off racing, but a lack of success caused her to be dumped off at the nearest auction, where Lennox bought her, wanting a challenge as she would have to train this horse under saddle. Lennox has managed to get her out of that racing mentality and turned Fortuna into a riding horse, even trying her out in a few show jumping competitions before having to leave Iron Ridge and go to Serenity. Turnout/Dietary Requirements 24-7 turnout. Needs a high-fiber, low-starch diet. Relationship With Rider Always improving. After all, Lennox has only had Fortuna for a year and a half. They're a productive duo when you get them working, but they're also both very difficult and stubborn. That is what bonds them and is their downfall. There is moments of disharmony between the two, and even mistrust — sometimes, Lennox worries about Fortuna's reliability, and in turn, Fortuna occasionally doubts Lennox's strength as a rider. Finally done! ghost light stables said: Full Name: Lenore 'Lux' Sailor Sloane Age: 17 Sexuality: female Pronouns: she/her Role At Serenity: junior rider Riding Experience: lux never made a huge name for herself despite her skill, she had trained colts and showed some AQHA events only making it as far as the youth worlds in western classes and the state regionals for eventing. Discipline(s): eventing, versatility cow horse Reputation: lux is known for being short and sour, she's not a fan of people and prefers to figure things out for herself although she does listen when people are giving her instructions. Most people know her name because she goes to Florida with an ex olympian her family is close with every summer to exercise horses. Appearance: lux could be described in a few sentences at first glance, she has slightly curly strawberry blonde hair with natural blonde highlights, it's cut to her chin with curtain bangs that fade into layers, which is a nightmare to pin up for shows, her roots are a light true blonde that fade into the reddish color. Her eyes are a mix of green hues with a ring of gold around the puiple. She has tanned skin and dark skarsthat litter the skin from hard days of work and clumsy accidents, the most noticeable scars are a long slightly curved arc that runs along her right forearm and the one running parallel under her left cheekbone. Lux has a athletic build, not being too feminine but not extremely masculine either. Personality: lux is a sarcastic witty person, she likes to keep to herself but she still takes the time to add in her two cents or a unnecessary remark, she has a short fuse, and a attitude that is mostly directed towards people who annoy her. Shes always polite to the trainers although she occasionally throws in a sarcastic response to instruction, though it is quite amusing to the older riders to see what she can come up with for a remark at times What brings them to Serenity?: lux had a bad wreck at a horse show, her lease horse landed a oxer and his front left leg just shattered. The horse was put down at the spot and although lux only suffered a fractured sturnum and a concussion she hasn't jumped over three foot since. Backstory: Lux was born on into a horse family, her father trained cow horses and her mother trained pleasure horses. Of course Lux loved riding western, she loved working cattle and practicing the ranch riding patterns, but she had always wanted something more, when she turned 13 she sold her Shetland pony and used the money to buy a cheap grade yearling colt. Lux spemt all of her time training this yearling and when he got old enough she started to event, when she was 16 she sold the colt and leased a different horse who she got into eh accident with and then ended up at serenity. Affiliations (romantic/familial/etc, past/present): both parents still alive, fell out with her younger brother still close to her older brother Horse: Registered Name: Ruptured Songhold Barn Name: siren Age: 4 Gender: mare Breed: thoroughbred Appearance: Siren is a tall leggy seal bay mare, she has one short sock on her front left leg and a crescent moon shaped star. She has a nice long stride and a natural arch to her neck Strengths & Challenges: siren is a very gifted jumper and XC horse, she's practically fearless in that category of eventing, but she struggles with dressage and flatwork as she gets bored easily. Discipline: jumping and XC Experience: siren is still young and in training, she's never been to a actual show, she's only been to small town schooling shows. Turnout/Dietary Requirements (opt): siren gets about four hours of turnout in a shared paddock every day if not she eats the side of her stall or jumps out of the window out of boredom. She gets about about two qaurts of beetpulp based grain and both a flake of alfalfa and a flake of grass hay for forage Relationship With Rider: siren has a love hate relationship with lux, she either climbs up the walls in excitement to see the teen or she becomes a death threat to the teen and everyone within twenty feet.

Kim Jeongin [kim JEUHNG-in] Age: 23 Years Old Pronouns: He/Him/His Sexuality: Demisexual - a person who may experience sexual attraction but only after forming a strong emotional connection with someone ⁺‧₊˚ ཐི⋆♱⋆ཋྀ ˚₊‧⁺ Role At Serenity: Senior Rider - Casual Intermediate Riding Experience: He's been riding since he was in his early teens, so he's pretty confident in his abilities. He's hopped around to different horses, as he only recently bought his first horse - others he's ridden being primarily lesson horses, or leased geldings. Discipline(s): Dressage and Flatwork Reputation: Modest and respectful. Allegiance, after all, has to work two way's; and one can grow weary of an allegiance which is not reciprocal. Jeongin is generally well-liked. Respect him, and he'll have no reason to bother you in return. ⁺‧₊˚ ཐི⋆♱⋆ཋྀ ˚₊‧⁺ Appearance: The young man possesses one of the most convincing resting-bitch-faces (RBF) you'll ever encounter. He has definitely grown into his looks. Jeongin always had a certain level of baby fat around his cheekbones and neck, giving him a soft, bubbly appearance. Now, as he approaches his mid-twenties, his facial features have become much more defined and masculine. While he can brighten his face with a charming smile, he can also look a bit intimidating at times. With high cheekbones, a strong jaw, and prominent brow bones, his face exudes a regal quality. Due to his East Asian descent, Jeongin has dark, elongated, almond-shaped eyes and a nose that is well-proportioned to the rest of his face, which scrunches when he laughs. His hair is constantly changing; he has a hard time resisting the urge to dye or cut it whenever a new idea strikes. Although it's thick, it’s not the softest because, well, it's damaged. Despite this, he can pull off most hairstyles. Currently, he is experimenting with a dark navy blue color that contrasts nicely with his pale complexion. When he was younger, working out had never really crossed his mind. He had always been lean, so when his friends started hitting the gym, he considered it but remained content with his body. Now, he is more confident in how he carries himself, but he has always had that confidence. He has broad shoulders, a well-defined chest, and a slim waist—features that even some of his female friends have envied. He isn't bulked up but has gained more definition in his arms, abdominal muscles, and legs. The last time his height was measured, he stood at 5 feet 11 inches—not the tallest, but certainly not the shortest. If his appearance doesn't catch someone's eye, his voice definitely would. He has a wide vocal range, but his casual speaking voice is deep and soft, with a thick Australian accent that some may find alluring. However, he can also reach high-pitched notes, which can be quite annoying if the situation calls for it. Personality: He’s got this amazing balance of confidence and humility that really makes him shine. You can tell he respects everyone he meets, sometimes to the point that it feels almost overly polite—it's like he just has a deep appreciation for people. His kindness really stands out; he’s the type who remembers the little things, like your favorite coffee order or something you mentioned in passing, which makes you feel seen and appreciated. He might be a bit quiet, but there’s nothing shy about him—he has a way of drawing you in with his genuine nature. People naturally respect him, partly because he carries himself with such dignity. While he may not always wear his heart on his sleeve, you can trust him completely. He’s reliable and keeps your secrets safe, making him someone you can always count on when you need a friend. There’s just something special about him that makes it easy to connect! Jeongin has never been particularly enthusiastic about the idea of having a romantic partner, especially not in the conventional sense of a girlfriend. It's not that he lacks attraction to others; rather, he yearns for something deeper and more meaningful. He envisions a relationship rooted in true, profound love, where dedication and commitment come naturally and effortlessly. For him, the concept of marriage isn't just a goal but an inevitable part of a loving partnership. He finds comfort in the thought of transitioning from a close friendship to a romantic relationship. Jeongin believes that connections are built on a foundation of trust and understanding. What Brings Him To Serenity?: Really, he's just here to practice more. He's not expecting to get good enough to transition into championships, but simple everyday hacks and practice are something he wants. ⁺‧₊˚ ཐི⋆♱⋆ཋྀ ˚₊‧⁺ Backstory: He wanted to get out of the chaos back home. With his three older brothers suddenly taking over his father's business, there's been some heated rivalry back at his parents' place. And really just his town. He didn't want to get more mixed up in it as he already was. Horseback riding has always been something that calms him down, so he was happy to see they were still taking candidates. Affiliations: Mother; Alive - Strained Relationship Father; Deceased - Decent Relationship Older Brothers; All Alive - Negatively Focused Relationships . Daniela Cruz - A very good friend of his. They've know one another for a while now and she's one of the few people he feels he can go to when he needs to let something off of his chest. He admires her work and skills greatly. Open! PM me. Best of Heaven Barn Name: Gunner Age: 9 Years Old Gender: Gelding Breed: Selle Francais ⁺‧₊˚ ཐི⋆♱⋆ཋྀ ˚₊‧⁺ Appearance: Gunner is a seal brown dun gelding standing at a height of 16.2 hands. He has a well-proportioned body, with long legs, a sturdy neck and a nice saddle. He has a pink snip at the top of his upper lips and a thin, broken stripe on his forehead just above his dark brown eyes. He has a smooth, quick gait and is quick in his transitions. His mane is long a dark, surprisingly soft and usually in a running braid when in the arena. Strengths & Challenges: S - Dressage, Transitions, Temperament, Quiet, Wise C - Show Jumping/Eventing, Western Saddles, Bits, Picky Eater Discipline: Dressage & Flatwork (Moreso) Experience: His previous owner showed him in competitions, and he's been changed around rider-wise quite a bit. He's well worked and experienced. Turnout/Dietary Requirements: He prefers his turnout with mares, as stallions don't seem to be pleased when he's around. As stated above, he's picky with his food. He doesn't take any supplements at the current time, but he prefers bran mashes and natural grass. He can be out in a large pasture for up to 8 hours at a time. He prefers not to be kept inside for more than 5 hours. Relationship W/ Rider: They're still figuring each other out. The two definitely have some points in common with each other, but Gunner has been a bit finicky with Jeongin recently. He may just be testing him, who knows. Discipline(s): XC, Show Jumping, Eventing Reputation: Dani has a reputation in the jumping arena. Never backs off. Thats what people know her for. As of her reputation as a living being, she always has something to say back - no matter what. Appearance: Daniela stands at 5'6 and a good physical build. Her legs muscly, but not visible enough for an untrained eye. Her long straight, dark hair always falling onto her shoulders in a loose braid - always. She has tanned skin and dark eyes . Personality: Apart from all the qualities dani has, she is stubborn. Once she gets an idea, she does NOT back off in any ocasion. However, she's kind. Talks politely, only when her boundries are not met. If Dani trusts you, you've been taught well. What brings them to Serenity?: After finishing high shool, her parents sent her to a prestigious boarding school, not wanting her to learn in a normal-looking school. There was a stable. There was riding. When the christmas holidays begun, Dani came back to her parents, and immediately told them about everything in detail. Her parents wanted her happy - decided to look into the horse riding career for her. Backstory: Daniela came from a rich family. Lived high in the mountains in Malaga. Her first ever lease was at a small barn, down the street from her. It was a small liver chestnut arabian - a calm gelding. At the age of 8, her parents bought her a 12 year old mare, who soon passed from colic. After years of not rifing, got back into the industry, and succesfully. After looking for a new barn to start over again, she found it. And also found a new horse - all to herself. He has a big stride, and always eager to jump. Strengths & Challenges: Val is very talented. Has a big stride, and a powerful jump. Discipline: XC, Show Jumping. Experience: Val is in intermediate level jumping, already jumped up to 4'9 and has no problems jumping over cross country fences. Still under training in long distance running. Turnout/Dietary Requirements (opt): Vallestero has at least 4 hours of turnout daily in a medium sized pasture, full of grass and fresh water. In his stall, however, he does not like being locked up for over 3 hours. Relationship With Rider: Val has a love hate relationship. He either is excited to see Daniela, and gets eager when she comes in, or has ear pinned back and neighing without stopping. There's only 2 ways to this horse

Finished! Dusk acres said: Full Name: Wren Brown Age: 19 Sexuality: Staight Pronouns: She/Her Role At Serenity: Competitive Working Rider Riding Experience: Wren began her riding career at 7, and she mostly did short trail rides and english begining lessons for 2 years. After that she was able to move onto more advanced lessons, and by 13 she was pretty good at flat work, and was an intermediate jumper. She suffered a nasty fall at a show, which combined with her starting high school to create the perfect cocktail for her to want to quit. Wren gave up riding till she was 16, when she fell back in love with it. She began to become a lot more serious about riding and is now an advanced eventer and english all-around rider. Discipline(s): Dressage, eventing, show jumping, XC, and flat classes. Reputation: Wren was gaining a decent reputation in the show jumping ring before her fall, has since lost it. As a person, she has a reputation as for keeping to herself, but always offering a smile or kind word to others. Appearance: Wren stands at 5'4, and has a lean build. She has slight muscling in her arms, but not enough for someone to notice if they aren't looking for it. Some would describe her hair as light brown, while others insist it's dirty blonde. Wren prefers to say light brown, just to avoid any awkward conversations. She keeps her lightly wavy hair in a very short bob, around chin length. She has dark brown eye, which contrast with her pale skin. Personality: Above all things, Wren is authentic. She's not the type of person to go with someone to a party if she doesn't want to, or tell someone a lie to make them feel better. She is, however, very kind. Once she meets someone and clicks with them, she's one of the most loyal people you'll meet, often to a fault. If Wren doesn't click with anyone, she tends to stick to herself, after all, she's learned that it's better to be lonley than risk getting hurt. What brings them to Serenity?: After deciding college wasn't the route for her, her parents urged her to find something to do rather than living at home while working a customer service job. Wren scoured the internet, and although it seem that the place had gone downhill, this place in England kept calling her name. The next couple months were spent begging for more shifts, getting a second job, and looking up flight fares to the U.K. When Wren had finally saved up enough for a flight and living expenses, she got on the plane and hasn't looked back since. Backstory: Wren was born on a small island near Finland. Horses were a staple of the community there, but fear always kept her from engaging with them the way the everyone else did. When she finally worked up the courage to ride, she was hooked. Wren was an only child, and her dad wasn't in the picture at that point. Her mom had to work several jobs just to support the two of them, so on weekends and holidays, Wren was always at the stable. She would do odd jobs, and would recive one riding lesson a week, free of charge. She worked her way up to more advanced lessons, and her parents ended up getting back together shortly after her 14th birthday, allowing her to continue advanced lessons when she restarted at 16. Affiliations (romantic/familial/etc, past/present): Long distance boyfriend of 2 years. Ava, her mom and Joey, her dad. Horse: Registered Name: FJ Lost in Time Barn Name: Pinecone Age: 6 Gender: Gelding Breed: Hanoverian Appearance: Deep liver chestnut with a wide blaze that runs into a pink nose, and no other markings. He stands at 16.1 and has light dappling. He is a muscular and lean horse, who is very much fit and ready for work. Strengths & Challenges: Pinecone is still a little bit green, as he wasn't started at all until he was 3, so he still has a decent amount of baby brain. He is a very honest horse, and always tries his best, but is prone to getting bored easily. Pinecone has a very scopey jump, and some potention in the dressage ring, but would need a bit more training than Wren can offer to bring it out. Discipline: Eventing and Show Jumping. Experience: Was started in basic groundwork at 3, and was started undersaddle at 4. He recived basic flatwork and jumping schooling, and was just begining to start jumping more seriously when Wren purchased him. Wren has since introduced him to cross country, and he's been to several schooling shows. Turnout/Dietary Requirements (opt): N/A Relationship With Rider: Wren purchased Pinecone around his 5th birthday, and has worked with him a lot. He trusts her to an extent, but they definitely still have bonding to do before they are a fully functioning pair.

Form: Full Name: Yara Silmaris Age: 21 Sexuality: Straight Pronouns: She/Her Role At Serenity: Senior Rider; Competitive Riding Experience: Advanced young professional rider with strong experience producing and competing young horses. Competent across all phases of eventing, with particular strength in jumping and cross-country. Discipline(s): Eventing/Hunting Reputation: Well-known within equestrian circles due to her family's prominence in the sport horse industry, giving her an established name recognition from a young age. Personally, she is regarded as intelligent, engaging, and unexpectedly warm once approached, with a reputation for being far more approachable in conversation than her composed, reserved presence initially suggests. Appearance: Approximately 5'8, with a model-like, architectural silhouette - long-limbed, balanced, and inherently composed in a way that translates immediately into presence. Her physique is athletic but refined: strong through the shoulders and core, with a natural upright carriage that reads as both elegance and control. Her face is striking in a way that is difficult to ignore rather than conventionally soft. High, sculpted cheekbones, a defined jawline, and clean symmetry give her a distinctive profile that holds attention even in motion. Her eyes are a vivid green - intense, observant, and unusually expressive in their restraint, often giving the impression she is thinking far more than she is telling. Her hair is naturally dark and curly, usually worn either loosely tied back, contained in a low knot, or left to fall in controlled curls when off duty. The texture softens her otherwise structured presence. Personality: Yara is intelligent, quick-thinking, and socially perceptive, with a calm, composed way of carrying herself. She tends to observe first and speak second, which gives her a slightly reserved presence at first impression, but she becomes noticeably more engaging once comfortable. In conversation she is witty, clear, and unexpectedly warm, with a natural ability to read people without forcing interaction. She is confident without being loud, competitive without being aggressive, and driven more by internal standards than external validation. What brings them to Serenity?: Yara arrives at Serenity following a high-profile incident during an advanced young horse campaign involving one of her leading prospects. Following that, whilst the blame couldn't be placed on anyone, the decision was made to redact her temporarily into a low-profile environment. Her own project horse too, needed more varied exposure, so the location worked well for the two. Backstory: Born into a wealthy equestrian-investment environment rather than a traditional riding family narrative. By her late teens, she was already involved in producing and competing young horses at a high level, building a reputation for calm, controlled riding and consistent development of difficult or green horses. Affiliations: Silmaris family - investors well-known within elite equestrian circles for young horse production and sport horse development. Yara is one of two children, raised within a structured, performance-focused environment where horses are treated as long-term competitive assets. Horse: Three Times a Lady
CRD Three Times a Lady Barn Name: Roxi Age: 5 Gender: Mare Breed: Trakehner Appearance: Roxi is a strikingly fiery chestnut mare with a rich copper coat, large, irregular splodgy markings across her face and three white socks. She has an elegant, athletic build with expressive dark eyes set in a well-defined head and stands around 16.3hh. Her refined features are boasted with a naturally proud carriage and gait. Strengths & Challenges: Exceptionally bold, athletic and intelligent, Roxi boasts a huge jump, beautiful gait and strong desire to please when worked. She's highly sensitive and learns quickly, making her rewarding to teach. However, she is also intense and opinionated and shell tell you about it. At times, she can be spooky, particularly around unfamiliar objects all things Yara is trying to desensitise her towards. Discipline: Show Jumping/Cross Country (prospect) Experience: Young project horse for Yara. Has the flatwork established, and is gradually working through jumping/x-country. Part of the reason Yara has come to Serenity, where the environment is different and there is chance to expose her to more countryside areas to build confidence in x-country. Turnout/Dietary Requirements (opt): Needs regular exercise and turnout to manage her energy and keep her relaxed. It's easy to tell when one of those hasnt occurred by the extra sass and attitude that comes with it. Relationship With Rider: Close in some ways. She forms strong bonds with those she trusts, reacting best to a patient, confident partnership. She's very demanding and intense by nature; she needs attention, affection and commitment from her rider. Edited at June 5, 2026 08:02 PM by Storm Valley Estate
