Personality: An absolute sweetheart, Nautica is a perfect (or at least he tries to be) gentleman; he has wonderful ground manners for everyone, standing quietly for the vet and farrier as well as any pony clubbers trying their skills out. Under saddle, his charm flourishes as he makes his way around the ring following his rider's cues (even when they aren't always perfect aww pony clubbers). He has a rather curious nature which has led to a few minor injuries - and given Juliet plenty of opportunities to work on first aid. He loves to be 'helpful' with whatever is going on he'll attempt to put on his own blankets, or help his buddies take theirs off; on the crossties he tries to help with grooming or tacking and loves to watch what everyone else is doing. He's the type of horse to throw his heart over any jump in his way, and will try his hardest to get to the other side safely.

History: Imported from a Canadian breeding farm, Nautica has had a decent life with an early start in ground training and sensitive trainers to encourage his talent. Started under saddle slowly between his third and fourth year, he was brought along with gentle steps to ensure his full potential wasn't ruined with rushed training and overworked joints. He was brought to Juliet's trainer as project horse with potential. Nautica very soon became her favorite ride as they excelled in training and practices together. His first show was an absolute delight for the pair - and she signed his sale papers soon afterwards making him officially hers.

Personality: Kingsley is a dedicated eventer and he can be single-minded about it. When he's in training mode, that's all he's focused on. He's all business when he gets to the barn and has a plan. On the flip side - when Kingsley is done for the day or just working his way through barn chores, he enjoys hanging out with his fellow riders. He's not usually the first to speak or offer advice, but he's a decent listener to any problems. Kingsley is a better horse trainer than an instructor - he can easily communicate what he wants done with an animal who doesn't even speak the same language as him, but put him in the arena with a group of up-down kids and he's all tongue-tied.

History: Kingsley was raised by his grandparents on their small thoroughbred racing barn in the heart of Kentucky. He was exposed to horses and the hardwork that came along with them at a very young age. He didn't love his weekly riding lessons at first until he joined the local Pony Club and found what real riding was. A field-trip to the Kentucky Three Day Event held every year at the end of April - and he was hooked! The magnificent horses tackling the most impossible obstacles - fences that were taller than him and wider than his wingspan, that's what he wanted to do. Kingsley pursued his eventing career through high school. Deciding not to go to college, he instead looked into making a living in the horse world. He took a couple internship years with top level eventers and took every opportunity to learn. Personality: With a name like his, people often assume that he’s all trouble; which isn't the case at all. He’s just rather curious and doesn't have a mean bone in his large body. Mischief was trained well from the very beginning so he’s pretty level headed. Unfortunately his curiosity has lead to being able to open stall doors, gates etc. so all his latches have extra security. When he does get free, he never takes off but will wonder around to see what everyone else is doing or eats the grass on the other side of the pasture fence. Mischief likes his life and he likes it the same everyday - he knows when to expect to be fed, when the bodyworker comes, and when he's going to work. When his life is hindered from the comfort of routine, the large Hanoverian has a history of minor colic and ulcers.

History: Mischief lived a great life from a young age - he was kept as a stallion until 5 years old because he was such a kind and friendly horse and they were waiting to see if he would be a good breeding candidate. With being prone to illness and stress, the warmblood stud decided to geld him. He was imported to the USA after a mildly successful Show Jump career on a European Series. Kingsley found him at a small show and spotted potential for eventing. They are starting to explore foxhunting and cross training out of the arena to help with his 'lookiness'.

Personality: Roxy is a bit full of herself; from her looks to her skills, she knows she's hot stuff. Unfortunately she's rude and can be aggressive. She doesn't want hugs and cuddles, rather she wants to work or be left alone. Roxy is a powerhouse type with a tendency to put her head down and plow on. She's never afraid of a jump (or doesn't let on about it) and truly enjoys the sport. When she's in a mood - watch out for her bucking ability or her clamping on the bit and bolting off. What usually ticks her off is the dreaded Dressage - collection and hindend engagement is hardwork and she's not a fan. While she can do the work and do it well, it takes a lot of effort on both the horse and rider's part to set her up in a proper frame and engaging back to front.

History: Roxy was one of those horses who ended up with an owner who liked the way she looked and refused to listen to anybody - not trainer or friends or reason. Roxy learned the majority of her bad behavior by dragging that poor woman through the ringer - from dumping her at every ridden chance, whirling away from her at a moment's notice (lead rope, lunge line, whatever), and using tooth or hoof in anger. The mare was truly a terror and had the attitude of 'woke up and chose violence'. She was kicked around from backyard horse trainer, horse breaker, and natural horsemanship - they all failed her out before the first thirty days saying she was a true nightmare and the meat truck was her only destination. Kingsley was able to intercept the mare's fatal trip and start her rehabilitation program. It was after almost a year of recuperating from horrible treatment that Kingsley was finally able to test her potential and get her started on her eventing career.
