Backstory: It's a very long story, but she knew Emily when they both worked for a farm in Virginia called White Oaks Equestrian Center. After suffering a terrible loss, Rena moved away and ended up in London, pursuing four majors at a local university and settling down with a man she intended to marry. After some unspeakable events occurred involving her, her brothers, and an old flame, Alex, she decided to get a clean start, once again, and agreed to Emily's offer on the third phonecall. She looks forward to picking up the pieces of her life here, away from the hustle and bustle of the city life she's grown used to.

Backstory: Ezra came over from White Oaks with Emily for the opportunities. At the time, Kholo didn't have any upper level eventing mounts for him, and Emily did. He also doesn't mind being closer to home.

Backstory: Eden came because she got her sponsorships dropped after a terrible fall she claims wasn't her fault. She has no proof of deception, but shady business occurred, and she has vowed she'll sue and get "her" horses back. This has yet to happen due to the fear of ruining her reputation as a rising star in the equestrian world with dreams of making it all the way to the top.

Her pale skin is soft and well cared for. There is a small flowery ram skull tattoo in the middle of her outer right thigh. Straight, strong build, about 5’ 9'' tall. Usually has a very inviting expression.

Personality: Monroe is very confident, talkative, and likes a large group of friends to pull from. She's all smiles and laughs, sometimes when she shouldn't be. Everything is a competition for her and she's always set on winning. She likes to take control over things, which doesn't always sit well with others. It usually takes a lot of pushing for her fuse to blow, but she leaves no stone unturned in an argument and tends to make things much worse that way. She is less patient with Athlone.

Backstory: Raised near the city by a stay-at-home mom. Father worked a lot and was mildly wealthy but still tried to take an interest in her when he had the time. They loved her to bits and nurtured her interests as much as they could, including spoiling her with any horsey desires. They were strict with rules and had high standards, but she was smart and usually didn't have a problem reaching them. The age gap between her and Athlone kept them from getting close, and though in the last couple years after they moved away from the city she has tried to reach him, their relationship is very rocky. She now lives with Athlone a few minutes away from the facility at their parents place, though the parents are very rarely there. She takes care of Athlone.

Riding Experience: Started riding at 8 and got her first pony at 9. She jumped between hunter/eq and dressage for a few years but ended up focusing on dressage. Monroe started working around nearby stables pretty early on and started helping her trainer at about 13. Soon after that she started competing and hasn't stopped. She has always supervised Athlone around the horses and has a bad habit of playing trainer with him.

Appearance: Very pale. Mostly straight dark-ish brown hair that is almost shoulder-length with shorter pieces hanging in his face. Dark eyebrows and a few freckles on his nose. Pale brown eyes and thin lips. His expression usually looks like he's ready to kill someone, but his voice is very unemotional and on the quieter side. He is about 5’ 7”, has a small build, and isn't very strong.

Personality: Athlone is very sweet and even a bit talkative as long as he isn't under stress. Unfortunately he almost always has something that's deeply bothering him, which makes him uptight and easily annoyed. It isn't uncommon to catch him fighting with Monroe. Other than his room, he is calmest when he's alone with his horse, and it's possible that he could have that same calming relationship with another person as long as they didn't make him feel pressured. Athlone really does want someone to be close with, and can definitely manage it if he was away from Monroe long enough, but his history with family has left him very anxious about the idea.

Backstory: Same parents and city life as Monroe. The age gap between him and Monroe made her uninterested in him for a long time. He always felt like their parents favored her over him, and that their father only spent his free time on her and wasn't interested in him at all. This kept him distant and detached from his family and more of an uncomfortable bystander than an active participant in their gatherings. Their parents shoved him into the horse world with Monroe to combat this, but if anything it has only worsened their relationship. He was never any good at living up to their parents standards and he resents Monroe for it.

Riding Experience: Athlone was around horses since he was a baby because of Monroe, but he wasn't forced to start riding until he was 10. Even though he has some suppressed anger about the situation, he likes his horse a lot and enjoys going away on private walks with her. He just wants to be alone with the horses or he gets annoyed with the pressure to do well. He is prone to getting upset during training rides, specifically if Monroe is around. Monroe doesn't like him riding without her either, so it's a bit of a mess.

Other: Brother of Monroe. His English is a bit spotty and often he describes the thing he's talking about if he can't remember the word.
