Horse Eden: Fun Horse Game For Equestrians

Appearance: Lukas is of average height at 5'10. He has a well-built figure from riding and working out. His skin is on the fairer side, but not excessively pale. His eyes are a gray with hints of blue depending on the lighting and his wavy hair is a dirty blond neatly kept. There's nothing to special about his appearance as he is very approachable and his persona isn't offsetting or anything.

Personality: Lukas tends to be very quiet and reserved. He has a thick German accent from growing up in rural Germany. His family immigrated to the US over a five years ago and is now a dual citizen. His English is decent and he prefers to speak that over his native tongue, although he is still learning and appreciates patience from others when speaking to them. Since being in the US he has been trying to pursue his love for riding in any way he can before moving back to Germany leaving his family in the US. Lukas will tend to sound harsh at times and he isn't usually very calm. There's this nervous and paranoid vibe about him that many will notice once they have been around him long enough. He believes in his natural ability as a rider, but other may think he his trying to hard. Lukas follows the rules set in place and does things with as much efficiency as possible. This will be seen in his care for Nacht and his hyper self awareness. Staying focused and on target are what keep him from going outside his comfort zone most of the time. Lukas isn't very compatible with others however. He doesn't work well in teams or with other riders because of his tendency to want the spotlight even though his talent is questionable. However, the longer someone is around Lukas, they will notice his gravitation towards taking risks. He does desperately want to have a good time, but his riding comes first and to him it is a job and not meant for enjoyment.

Backstory: A little bit is explained above, but he grew up in Germany and spent most of his time after school riding. His professional riding career began around the time he started to raise Nacht as he bounced from different horses. He has raised Nacht since he was a colt when he was 15 so their bond is inseparable. He recently moved back to Germany to be closer to home and to possible get his foot in the door with potentially some top people in the equestrian industry in Europe.

He always enjoyed long trail rides and exploring with Lukas. His personality has yet to be further explored by Lukas and others.

Discipline: Jumping

Achievements: Lukas is used to winning 1st and 2nd place with Nacht in showjumping. Lately, they have been getting 3rd place, but Lukas hopes to see improvement in a new environment. They have never gone outside their discipline in shows, but occasionally explore cross country in training.

Appearance - Paige is a guy who stands at 5'6" with ash blonde colored hair and lightly tanned skin. His eyes are a light brown color, and more often than not he likes to grow his hair out so he can tie it into a mini ponytail that's only a few inches long in length with bangs swept to the side. His build is anything but muscular, but that isn't to say he's a twig. Paige is strong in his own right, though in a fight he tends to be a bit lacking. He likes to classify himself as "lean" more than anything else, and if anyone decides to object they most they'll get is an unimpressed look. Paige is unscarred and sports no tattoos, though he's entertained the idea of getting one before. His dress is usually casual when he's not competing, putting on sweaters or a nice looking coat during colder times and solid or somewhat patterned short sleeves shirts during the hot seasons. A necklace hangs down from his neck made of black thread and a small silver charm of a galloping horse

Personality - The best way to describe Paige would be that he's an absolute Gremlin. While he is somewhat awkward at first with interactions, he's quite open about how he feels through his body language. Shuffling his feet when he's nervous, avoiding eye contact in awkward situations and sporting the smuggest grin whenever he gets the opportunity to lightly tease someone. He likes creating a little bit of chaos when he can, though Paige likes to keep a bit of a distant front sometimes when he first meets some people. He's quite energetic and can never quite sit still, and sometimes he has the gall to say random trivia facts to someone who didn't ask. Paige is faithful to people he deems alright, and will do his best to respect someone's wishes if they simply don't want to put up with him. He likes to tease and crack jokes to people, though he always gets nervous at lack of responses to them, thinking he somehow patronized or deeply insulted them somehow. It takes a lot to get Paige riled up and he never likes the consequences of this as he's aware that he gives them the cold shoulder or goes all out with his words as a result. He's not the most silver tongued person, so even if he does try and hurt you with his words, he can say really stupid things or stuff that doesn't hurt at all. Arguing is the bane of his existence, so whenever something like that happens his immediate response is to leave as soon as he can. It makes him highly uncomfortable, and more often than not he'll resort to taking a ride with Silhouette. He's a people person, so he likes hanging around others, but sometimes what he's looking for is a comfortable quiet instead of a friendly conversation. Paige is terribly awkward with first conversations, but he'll try his best to stop his overthinking brain from jumping to conclusions.

Backstory - Paige grew up in a slightly weird relationship with all of his family. From the dynamic conversations with his dad whenever he was home from work, to fighting with his mom, and following his older sister around often. It was her who first inspired him to try horse riding when he was 8 years old, and in the end the two of them took riding lessons together at a local barn near their area. Paige eventually moved up to the jumping level within his lessons, and did his first show 3 years later with his sister's horse. Since then, he had dedicated his time to training so he could get to the higher levels of show jumping competitions. When he was 15, despite his mom's disdain, his sister took him to buy his first horse in a similar place she had gotten her own, and the two ended up buying Silhouette.

Her coat is an inky black color, broken up by only a white star on her forehead. Her eyes are a patient dark brown color, and her body is unscarred

Personality - One thing to know about Silhouette is that she's very polite and patient. She can stand still when you tack her up, is rather quiet, will wait for you if she sees you approaching with her halter on the pasture, and rarely bites or bucks. The most she could probably do is nose bump you too hard. That is to say though, she's hard to get going sometimes. While she is polite, she's also quite stubborn and when she doesn't want to do something, then she won't try to do it. Her bad days are outright refusals to go faster than a slow trot, and on good days you can get her going with a tiny kick. Speeding is a word that just isn't in her vocabulary. She responds to cues well, and gets rather passionate about jumping, but will wait if you ask her too. Sometimes Silhouette can get quite energetic in the pastures, but more often than not she tends to want to be alone.

Achievements - Silhouette used to belong to a teenage girl who did quite a bit of eventing competitions in the mid range before they boarded her at a stable and stopped showing up. She then was a lesson horse for beginners and jumpers before the stable went out of business, and Paige ended up buying her when they were selling the horses. Since then, he's competed in show jumping competitions, earning first, second, and third places and steadily moving up the levels

Appearance - Adelaide is a woman of an average but proud stature, standing at 5'5" with long deep brown colored hair and grey-blue colored eyes. She likes to tie her hair into a ponytail more often than not, but sometimes she'll make two braids, then connect the ends together to make a smaller ponytail. A small right section on her bangs is dyed a pink color, a mix between bubblegum and a desaturated hot pink, and she bears no scars. A light dusting of freckles can be seen along her nose bridge. Her dress is usually a plain colored shirt during warm weather and a long sleeved shirt and a vest during the colder times, and she will always wear a red, folded bandanna around her neck. A tired or unimpressed look seems to always be seen on her face.

Personality - An easy way for someone to describe Adelaide would be Grumpy. Her unimpressed and tired expressions seem to always be permanently on her face, and most remarks or teasing questions and sentences are met back with something sarcastic or even an eyeroll. That isn't to say she's mean however. She knows when to tone down her remarks or attitude, even if it may be irking and aims to not instigate arguments as much as possible. Adelaide is honest and straight to the point, rarely ever sugarcoating anything. If you're looking for answers, then she will try her best to give one, even if it's not the one you're looking for. Adelaide is a lady of business and dedication to her job, and will aim to complete it within the best of her ability. If you have some complaint about how she's done it, then she'll take your complaint to heart and document it for later so she can do her job better. Adelaide isn't awkward in conversation until something she said makes someone break down crying, then she's in full sweat mode trying to stutter out an apology or stand there awkwardly, feeling bad. She does get bad anxiety sometimes, but buying and spending time with Hugo has helped a lot with this

Backstory - Adelaide's family was full of accomplished equestrians, from her younger and older siblings to even a few of her cousins. She herself had taken a slight interest, but never to the degree of the others. When she was 12 she started learning about dressage, however she wanted to focus more on school than anything else so she dropped it for a while. Occasionally, she went to watch shows her family were competing in and brushed up on some dressage but never really took up competing. When she was 18 she bought her first horse, Hugo, and started working as a Stablehand and groom for a local stable she boarded him at until they closed when she was 21. Adelaide hopes Stadt can be more long lasting than her last stable

Appearance - Hugo is a mustang that stands at 15.3 hands tall and sports a lean build. His stride is slow but graceful, and his coat is all white except for a chestnut colored medicine cap that lays over his ears and forehead. His mane and tail are white colored except for his forelock, which is colored chestnut to match his medicine cap, and his muzzle is a soft pink color. His eyes are an icy blue, and there's a few shallow scars on his flank that none of his previous owners know how he obtained them, so Adelaide just assumed he was attacked by a predator when he was still wild.

Personality - Hugo is a mustang who likes to put up an intimidating front to others, but really he's rather sweet. The stallion likes to toss his head sometimes, and it's rare you'll ever see him buck or bite someone else, though he does tend to be a little horse aggressive. Speed is the name of the game to him, so if you don't keep good control then you can easily find yourself from a canter to a gallop around the arena. This probably doesn't help the fact that he also spooks from loud noises, like something dropping or arguing. His horse aggressive nature makes Adelaide hesitant to let him out in the pasture with other horses, so she does her best to let him out when there's little to no other horses.

Achievements - Hugo has competed in low level eventing competitions and mid level dressage events. There was one time he also was registered in a western event and ended up placing decently

Appearance - Mae is on the shorter side of the scale when it comes to the average height of a woman, only standing at a mere 5'2" with a lean build and short wavy, blonde colored hair that stops two or three inches above her shoulders. While she doesn't look like she's most prolific in strength, there's some muscle hidden behind her lanky appearance. Her eyes are a spirited bright blue color, and her skin tone is a tanned golden that remains unscathed from any kind of scarring or bruises. Mae's attire usually consists of something formal-like, such as a white dress shirt or a nice looking sweater. It's rare to see her sporting something that looks quickly thrown together or clashing in style and pattern rather than the simplistic formal style she likes to sport most of the time. Two thick bracelets are usually over her right wrist, one of them a light green made from plastic and the other one made from black leather.

Personality - Easily, Mae can be described by people who know her as someone who's kind and is more optimistic than anything. She tries to bring attitudes up when atmospheres seem tense or strained, and doesn't see bad decisions or outcomes as fully bad, just a small discrepancy that you can learn to improve and most past. Most people are met with a bright smile or polite hello whenever they see her, and Mae is usually more than happy to indulge them in some kind of friendly conversation even on her bad days. She finds enjoyment in listening to others rant about things they're genuinely passionate about and finds it rather interesting especially when they talk about something she has never heard about. It's due to this curiosity that she often asks questions to other people. Sometimes it's things she already knows to reconfirm her knowledge, and other times it's to get an elaboration on something she just doesn't understand. Rarely, Mae will ask something totally random just out of the blue because her brain decided to jump to that particular topic. Mae likes putting her heart on her sleeve, and with that comes her honesty, even if it's not what someone might want to hear. It's within that case that she tends to sugar coat her confessions to them, but at heart in good intent even if it's something someone would find patronizing or frustrating. Mae is always willing to try something that's new to her, from foods to events and even activities that others encourage her to try out. She takes great enjoyment in dabbling in things she had previously no knowledge in, and even more so when she finds she likes it a lot. The unpredictable is wild and even a little bit exhilarating. Her willingness to try is equally met with her impatience to get up and be productive in some kind of fashion. Her brain can't sit still, so you can always find her buried in some kind of activity from scrolling on her phone, reading books, writing, or talking with someone about some random kind of topic she might not even be knowledgeable in. Keeping busy lets her feel productive, as sitting and doing nothing makes her feel lazy and sluggish. She finds zero joy in picking on someone or even giving a playful remark about someone's person for the fact she doesn't know how badly it will offend someone. Her go-to for meeting someone is to just go with whatever happens, even if it takes a turn for the worst and leaves the future consequences for future her to worry about.

Backstory - Mae had never really taken any kind of interest in horse riding until she was 12, where her parents had taken her to a show jumping event because a friend of theirs invited them to come and watch. That is where she first fell in love with the idea of horse riding, but never brought it up to her parents until she was 15 years old. Of course, her parents had been rather hesitant to let her start because it was something they considered rather dangerous, but compromised and told her when she was 18 and had good grades then they'd let her take lessons. As you can imagine, both requirements had been met. Currently, she had been riding at a stable an hour away and taking group lessons within the walk trot range, but managed to convince her parents to let her go to Stadt to gain more knowledge. She's rather excited to be around more experienced equestrians, and really hopes this wasn't a blunder on her part

You can do almost anything with her within reason, but due to her endless amounts of energy, the other horses often tire of her. Despite her willingness to take a joke, she is not without antics.
