On the original map there are 5 rivers and I think 4 have tributaries on them For clarity sake I have labelled them with numbers going west to east. Think that is right although map reading is definitely weak in my arsenal of accomplishments. With us thinking about a name for the main river we could also choose names for the others adding less confusion to our stories. - The estuary river could be the Sirona with the Galene running into it or at 2 as these are more Harmony’s and Ebol Wen’s land
- Harmony’s choice to name.
- I like Whinnee Wimpa as the main river and also one of the others like a tributary from the other side of wwl could be the Tiddy Mun as it leads into the Whinnee Wimpa
- If neither of you have any objection, I would like to call the river leading from the mountain – the nine daughters of Havenshire. These could be streams that link up in the hills around PBC. Its tributary running from the area of Follyfoot known as The Spring.
- Tredon’s choice to name
They don’t have to all be named on the map but we need to know what they are called and where they are for our stories. Comments, Suggestions please

All good ideas!! I'd like one river near Tredon, just to be able to write about a river. I don't really mind what its called. Though I like Wimpa Valley, which could also be a village name. Or I also like Crashing Whinnie. I think a name like that could fit well with a more sinister part of the story. But if anyone has any other ideas, that's fine too!! I like all your suggestions Follyfoot!! Rather than crashing, what about whinnee cascade or cascading whinnee then you can describe how the water looks/smells/feels/sounds even tastes as it rushes over long stretches of strewn rocks . it can still be a dangerous place to cross/navigate! We can think of of another name for the main river (brain feeze atm will have a think)

All great ideas for the rivers. I think there's one running past most of our stables, but I can always add more if need be. We can also write about springs, waterfalls or small streams that don't show on the map if we want.
I was thinking about the valley, we could call the main one Wimpa Valley if you want and then the valley area that runs through Harmony's land could be called Harmony Valley. That way the main river could be called Wimpa something, and the one next to Tredon could be the Whinnie,
I have added some villages and towns to the map, hopefully I'll have time to label them later on to see what you think and check that I haven't missed any. Edited at September 24, 2020 06:09 AM by Ebol Wen Stables

nycka valley that echoes (should be spelt nicker but chose the other one because why choose i when you can have a y - the sound a horse makes) not the steal-y variety though we could do a story on horse rustlers. could be linked in to wild stally & the reason he is stealing mares from all the different stables & college Edited at September 24, 2020 06:23 AM by Follyfoot Farm

Not sure about cascading winnie. But good idea. Not sure we have the right word to follow winnie just yet. I'll have a think!! I like the wimpa idea though!! If you imagine a hill, maybe wimpa valley could be before the hill and harmony could be after? Not sure what we could call the main one though. Maybe wimpa something as you say!! Just thinking of real rivers and how it could fit. We almost want a describing word at the front. The flowing wimpa The calm wimpa The blue wimpa Wimpa Thames Wimpa Quay (maybe in Havenshire Town) Wimpamouth Wimpa streams (sounds more like some kind of resort or theme park) I know these aren't perfect but thought they may help!

I've named the rivers by Ebol Wen and Harmony. Fynnon Wen (White Spring) and Nant Y Cusgod (Shelterd Stream) and I've named the lake on Harmony's patch Llyn Heddwch (Peaceful Lake).
Is that ok with everyone?

Ebol Wen - I love your ideas for those landmarks. Is there a word for poisoned lake for the lake near the the Burrows as some of the metal is going to leak into it from the mine? I also like blue wimpa and wimpa quay especially if you say it fast. thinking of the spring river by follyfoot - what about silent spring

Poison - Gwenwyn Poisoned - Gwpan Lake - Llyn I think Llyn Gwenwyn sounds better than Llyn Gwpan because cwpan with a C means cup so it's a bit close, unless you want to go with a double meaning which could also be good. I like those river names too. Edited at September 24, 2020 04:56 PM by Ynys Hafod Stables

Actually Ebol Wen, could you translate some of those words I thought of a few posts ago? Don't worry if not, just thought it may give us more ideas!!
