Minga is.. different. She will be super well behaved and then she will just act nuts. The times she has bit me once I was putting food in her bowl(she is def food aggressive but never had been to me and has not since oddly enough) and the other we were off leash walking and I recalled her and my younger dog Shiya. She got to me before Shiya and jumped up and grabbed me by my chin. She did not break the skin, thankfully, because I pushed her back and jumped backwards😅

I had something similar happen to me! A girl told me they were getting rid of their husky/lab mix because she was pregnant and sick so he needed to go. She gets there and tells me he's actually pit and husky but she didn't want me to balk at it so she didn't tell me. I don't have a problem with APBTs. I've owned 3 and my personal experience with them was amazing. However, this dog who she claimed was crate trained chewed through his crate, 4 layers of wall, and the door. This dog she claimed was sweet and had recall pulled out of his harness and ran 1 mile down the road with me calling his name, when I caught up to him he attacked me. Sway, I relate to being bitten by own dog. Mine is taken from a shelter, we don't know what exactly happened to her, only that she was found in a forest, but it was very visible that someone was beating her before.
