My uncle died at 21 running a marathon in NYC in over one hundred degree heat. He pushed himself too hard and ended up with heat stroke and full kidney failure before he passed away. Always hydrate and be careful of the heat

Dehydration is a huge reason for heat ailments. Combined with ignoring your body saying "hey, please stop" is when people faint

I'm pretty heat resistant, I've never had troubles. But having grown up in Colorado, I know to properly hydrate and sit if I feel even a little off. I see too many people here pushing themselves a little too hard and then facing consequences
