Kind of a general question - when/why would it be a good idea to either put your own mare up for brood or pay for a brood? What is the benefit to you or to the mare's owner?

If I ever put a mare up for brood, it would probably be if she wasn't producing well with my studs or if it were her freshman year and I wanted to let someone test her out to see how well she does with a stud from another barn and maybe see where she needs to "improve" on, like if i put her up with ppp breeding restriction and she gave me an SPE, I would put the breeding restrictions as EEP. I don't know much about genetics on here so i could be wrong about that but thats what i would do. The benefit to me as the stud owner would be new blood in my lines, and the benefit to me as the mare's owner would be seeing if she isn't a great breeder or if I just needed to test her with other studs. Hello! I posted here a few months ago to show off a WWE filly I got out of GOD, and it's her maiden year in 149! I'd love some help matching her because I know she will be incredible and I want her to live up to her full potential. Right now this is the match I have but if anyone has any comments or advice please let me know :)

That looks like a pretty solid match honestly. Their strengths and weaknesses match very well
