Thought I'd share this piece of art based off of the 3/29 Trivia discussion me, Lumix, Prezi, Nyx, Mac and Jeri had. XD

Cap, amazing drawings! I can't get over how well you sketch musculature!

Thank you Deni <3 I've realized that because I detail and try to paint over muscles and such in such a precise manner, that my art takes literal ages to finish. Sunny is STILL waiting on a piece from me that she ordered back in Feb, as are you from your earlier order from this month. I just want y'all to love it and I feel that if I don't love it, you wont ):
So hearing things like this makes me hopeful and encourages me as an artist, I really can't thank you and everyone else who encourages me enough 😭

Oof, I know the pain of a piece that just goes on and on for days, but the end result and artistic growth is so fabulous that it's worth all the tears and sweat. I always love when artists make time for the little details!!

That said, expressing your creativity shouldn't be so stressful, so take the time to appreciate all the good points of your work and note down the parts you don't think work well as future areas of improvement. I've always liked to think that sometimes artists' ability to judge develops more rapidly than their technique, resulting in that infamous harsh inner critic. It's easy to feel disappointed in your work but one has to realize that it merely means one's artistic judgment has developed tremendously! Artistic ability can be thought of as capped at your ability to judge your art, and the way to consistently put out better pieces is to constantly develop that judging ability! Sorry, this kind of dipped into a mini-rant! Hope it can help anyone who reads this haha

Your creativity is wild, by the way! I'm enjoying your recent theme of galaxy + tasty food (the tater tot piece you made is gold!). Your ability to have multiple objects interacting in a piece is such a treat :)

Nice :)
A few things I'd suggest:
The hooves are very square. Try curving them a bit mlre, although I know how much of pain they can be >.<
Maybe add a bit more muscle to the legs. They look a bit stick-ish
.
But I love how you drew the mane and tail! Great job <3

You're such an amazing person, so helpful and encouraging <3
I will definitely take the things you said and apply it to my works, hopefully that will help me get things done!

@Pony,

Have you heard of the expression "flesh out"?
Taking that into mind will definitely help, and start with a nice ref photo to help you figure out the right shapes and proportion size for the horse (:
