I don't want to shave him, but we also had a recent scare where the vet thought he may of had a blockage in his stomach and I think it was a hairball.

@Alyssa, I think I will try calling my groomer and seeing if a bath and brush helps.

Mmm... At my clinic we only give sanitary shaves or full body shaves if there is an infestation of fleas or other issues. I dont know about full body shaves if you dont "have" to

@Alyssa, my cat is on a prescription hydrolyzed diet so a hairball diet is a no-go right now. I see mixed reviews about shaving your cat to prevent hairballs.

Alyssa it seems like bathing them helps, as much as cats don't like water.
Waldo has less hair balls now.
Every so often he gets them.
Kitty hasn't had any in over 7/8 months.

Hill's has a hairball diet, but not quite sure how much help it'll do since you seem to groom her, etc. Sometimes it's inevitable.

Am not sure if it's over grooming are not, the vet isn't sure either.
She's got meds and she let me clean it with peroxide.
I didn't even have to hold her down she just let me do it.
Sunni

Bird they could, I just put a towel around kitty so she can't claw my eyes out.
She's gotten to the point I can just sit here in and hold her.
With her tail being banged up right now I've left it alone.
I still don't understand how she got that badly hurt.
Mom stepped on her tail, but 3-6 days later the skin was completely gone.

I would send her to a different boy. He needs Mv, Hrt, and Str. Your mare only has the Hrt. If you would like some help finding some boys, you can always PM me ^-^
