I was looking at an old mare of mine, and was struck that she had had 6 World Class Foals . Looking at my other mares, I'm seeing one or two from each of them, even the ones that were higher on the LB (my top mare, currently sitting at #7, has only had one. Several of my LB mares haven't had any). What's the most successful mare you've had, and what's their position on the LB?

There has definitely been a correlation between AD ratings and their positions on the LB, regardless of how strong their production is.

From what I've seen on the LBs, I think the first most important thing is strength of the horse's bravery (there are sub-tiers within each rating), and the second most imporant things are the horse's AD and their foal's AD. I am not convinced that their foal's bravery matters. Multiple times now I have seen freshmen bravery stallions tested on mares with high AD ratings and low bravery ratgings and the stallion lands high, but then when he is bred to mares with low AD and high bravery he drops like a rock. I'll have to look back through a lot of mares to find my most successful.

Ok, after a few minutes of searching, this is the most prolific mare I could find. 6 WC foals. She was acutally decently ranked. Most of my high ranking mares are like yours, only producing 1 or 2 WC offspring in their lifetime.

Im not too sure about pricing them because it's not really a big thing yet, so this is kind of a tester to see how much interest others have in this sort of market.

Also, straws to my studs are cheaper than LCs, so again just PM if you're interested. I'm usually quite generous with straws.

Ive noticed TBs seem to be dominating the boards lately.

Also, anyone else slightly frustrated that AD ratings have such a large impact on board rankings? I don't think it's very fair that bravery boards are still impacted by AD ratings, but it's keeping my horses up there so I can't complain too much hehe.

It somehow keeps my long-term ambition up since bravery itself is such a random stat. But yeah, it's weird that "Best Bravery" is more like another AD leaderboard. Does anybody know if bravery also affects the eventing leaderboards? I'm always surprised when I see the high rankings of studs like RIOT Bloody Butcher.
