I'm a new player and I know the best way to make money is to show so i've bought a couple good mares and and gelding that seems to be getting me some money. How many geldings would be a good number to earn some good money?

I also noticed that not as many people breed Knabstruppers, are they not a good showing breed or just people preference?
I was thinking about starting another account and was just wondering about which breed i should use, i want something that's more popular so i can breed and sell.

Thanks

First of All,Welcome!
Seems your on the right track, showing is definitely the way to begin!I'd say about 5+ Geldings is enough to support a *small* breeding program, but the more you have, the more Ebs you earn!
Its just preference i believe.Any HEE breed can show well, but Knabstruppers are one of the hardest breeds to accomplish EEEs with, compared to Irish Sport Horses or Sport Horses.
Tbs or Warmbloods are quite popular. But it depends on the stock you get and if you breed Good Lines. Most rubbish Warmblood lines are worth nothing more to A Warmblood breeder than a Sport Horse line, for example.

Hope this helps,And feel free to ask me anything at any time! :D

Like Flipper said, the more geldings you have the more money you make. I have about 750 right now, and even spending about 2.5 mil this week, I've made a profit of over 700k.
Knabstruppers are rare to breed simply because they're difficult. They need to meet criteria outlined in the game guide in order to be a KNN, and they can't be crossbred into other breeds to still produce a KNN. They work just fine as show stock. If you want to breed popular horses, ISH, SH, AA, and TB tend to do well. RIDs sell for a higher price, as do quality KNN simply because they're difficult to produce. As a WB breeder, I would stay away from WB for a while because they're simply not that strong of a breed currently. They don't sell for much either.

Thank you very much for the help!!

Would you be able to give me link to the guide that outlines the criteria for KNN, i've had a look around but i can't find anything that talks about the breeds. And how do i know if the stock is good, is that just Premium and up or does it have to do with colors and show stats?

From the game guide:
  • KNN sire X KNN dam = KNN foal IF a filly has LP or a colt has LP and PATN. If a foal doesn't meet these criteria, it will be a SH
  • RID or ISH sire X KNN = ISH
  • KNN sire X RID or ISH dam = ISH
  • KNN sire X anything not KNN, ISH, or RID = SH
  • Any sire not KNN, ISH, or RID X KNN = SH
  • Also, good stock depends on what you're breeding for. If you want to be a color breeder, there are multiple guides and clubs available to show you what stock is good. If you're breeding for ratings, horses that are PPP+ are generally preferred. Stock quality is determined by production record and training, there is a guide available that outlines these things. Really, a lot of this is just taking the time to see what you like, reading a lot of guides, and not spending too much money right off the bat.
