I want to say mine started teething at a month and a half? It was horrid. Still going with the constant drool and hand in mouth. I thought I was just crazy until her doctor confirmed it..

I think we should host a big HEE Welcome back to the both of you! You are both such influential players in the game and have been for years... you deserve to feel the love and appreciation we all have for you!

I felt I had nothing to really come back to. Not many funds after Kayla passed, especially since she didn't give me anything worth keeping. Just some AA/TBLB ladies with a pearl program. Maybe that'll kick off, lol.

Yea i was extremely pissed because it was the second time in less than a month id taken her in for essentially ruptured cysts on her hind end. Except the second time she had ripped open her tail, ripped off fur on her thigh, entire back end was red as a fire truck. Cyst like balls on tail and between toes... and no dogs in the lineage are known to have any issues. Breeder is stumped. Just frustrating.

I've been playing for a couple of months and would like to breed a mare worthy of her breed's leader board. I'm breeding for ratings, so how good would the first 5, for example, foals need to be. I have a mare I bought who has produced 3 EEE and 2 EEP combos. 7 year old mare. Is that anywhere close to good enough or would a mare need to produce straight EEEs? I know a stallion has to have some really impressive production. Managed to land around 30th on the AALB for bravery once with a stud, which was really surprising, but bravery is definitely not a good course for me since the foals need to be 2 before I can test them.

The leaderboards are determined by 75% from the horse itselves and 25% from the descendents that are still "alive" in the game.

Freshman stallions (age 3yo) need to have 10 foals bred from them to make the leaderboard, 1 of those needs to be from a live cover.

Returning stallions (over age 3yo) just need to have bred a minimum of 1 live cover foal each game year to keep themselves on the leaderboard.

Mares need to have at least 3 foals, no matter if they are still in the game or not to get on the boards.

Stallions LB is deleted every gameyear´s reroll and built up new in the next few days after the studs got used.
Mares LB never gets deleted.

All horses at the ago 18+ vanish from the boards as they dont have live covers available any more.

Single discipline LBs only look at the traits, that are important for this discipline. So even e.g. an EAA stallion can be high on the Dressage LB ;)

When a horse is created, it gets "points" - but they never show up for us players. They are the basics to determine the rating of a horse. So if a horse has more of these "points" by itselves, it is higher on the boards than one with less "points".

But these "points" and the LB position are NOT a marker, if the horse is a good producer or not! To determine a good producer you will have to take a close look at all foals of a horse and the foals´ pedigrees.
Even great producers do not need to show up on the LBs, if their own "points" are to low as, the top LBs are very competitive.

Low ratings in a pedigree ( e.g. a visible S rating ) do not have any influence on the possibilies of a horse as a good-foal-producer, too!

Thanks! I guess it'll be a while longer before I can afford to breed to a good enough stud to get a strong enough foal. Until then, I can hold that the one good mare I have works out to have more EEE foals I can breed.
