CSS Coding Problem

Okay so I think I finally got the hang of creating palettes, but one single palette I've made will not cooperate and I'm apparently too dumb to figure it out. Links in the site (not in chat) such as links to barns, horses, etc, that I have visited refuse to stay black. They go back to the default red brown color.

Can anyone tell me what I'm overlooking?
