Thank you for the advice Dulcie, I am going for AD+B though so those would be much more expensive. Once I start getting some breedings to my #6 BABLB stud I should be in a good spot.
I have a question. Wildcaught EPS stallion, bred with intent to form a new pedigree, produces a PPP colt first year. Not intentionally bred for AD but I followed the mare strength to stallion weakness rule. Serving as a start up to the line, I'm trying to judge prophetic value. Would you keep the colt for breeding and continuation of the line or try the sire again?
I just bred two horses I have and got a Brindle foal. Got the horses genetically tested, but I guess I don't understand how to tell if a horse is carrying the ability to produce Brindle or not?
