Hi everyone !
So em, let's start by... the start. I'm Iz', owner of the Ecuries des Roses, and I joined Horse Edven since three months, but didn't play that much.
I started as True Colors' Farm and was breeding Thouroughbreds but for colors only (so awfully rated horses... still cringing on that one thing). I got a lot of things going and so I stopped playing. When I've got a message saying my account would be deleted due to my inactivity, I've been like "no ! this game is WAY too cool !" and came back.
I radically changed my stables, sold all my TBs (except for my two faves) and started breeding Anglo Arabians for performance. I am breeding to get Premium rating minimum in everything but am mostly focused on dressage.
Now here are my questions:
1) How do I get better horses with rarer colors ?
Anytime I breed/buy a breeding prospect, I feel like I have to compromise to whether performance (mostly in Dressage) or color.
2) How do you reach World Class ratings in foals you've bred ?
The best I've got is an EEE colt, out of two EEEs. But I've got deceptions with some others foals I thought would have better ratings.
3) What's the best way of getting goodly rated foals ? Breeding my EEE stallion to other mares or buying young ones ? Capture ?
4) How do I get involved in AA's breeding ? Is there a community ?
This is pretty much everything for now on, or at least the most important questions. Here we go ! Wishing a good day to everyone !

First: Welcome back :)
I'm breeding SD shiny ISHs so I hope I can be of some help
1) I started off buying and capturing shiny E-rated fillies and sending them to LB studs. I used the horse search to find studs with some patterns.
2) matching is essential if you want to improve your stock. There are several good guides and blogs from other players explaining it much better than I can. In general you're noting down your mares' training to see their weaknesses and strengths and then find a stud to match them. So if your mare is weak in movement, find a stud strong in it. The next step is culling: any stud or mare that doesn't meet your standard (color, rating, training, production) should be gelded or CS'd and used as a show horse to earn you money.
3) always breed to the best studs you can afford. EEE is nice to have but there are so many cheap studs with at least one W to show for that I personally geld any EEE or sing E stallions. They're just no longer wanted with the new rating. After that: culling, culling, culling. Rather have a few good mares than wasting your ebs on many mediacore mares. I wouldn't recommend capture. If you're interested in SD and maybe want to start your new line, it's actually not bad. You get single E horses with capturing regularly but I've been playing this game for years and I have only captured one EEE the whole game! It's a heavy money sink.
4) I'm sure there's a club somewhere. You could take a look at the breed specific club list (go to search --> clubs).
I hope I helped you a little. Feel free to pm me if you have further questions :)

Welcome back!
1) I have found that a lot of LB horses have really nice color and of course amazing ratings. But I think the best way to get into breeding for ratings is to not worry about color right now and focus on getting a good rating and then once you have solid horses then try branching out to color. But if you would like to go for both at the same time, it is a good idea to genetic test all of your horses. This will help you better predict color combos for foals.
2) I was very fortunate and was given three amazing EEE mares to start me off. Since most LB horses have a minimum breeding rating of EEE, it made it easy for me to begin breeding higher rated horses. Though for a while I was only able to breed EEEs. Since LB fees can be expensive, you can go to the search horses section of the game and look at W rated sires that are cheaper in price but still produce pretty well. That is how I bred my first EEW. Another way is through broods. If your mares aren't tracked and trained and don't produce well according to their breeding history, you may want to look into other mares. You can purchase a brood at an auction or through the horse search but I prefer brood auctions since horses are usually not overpriced. With broods and studs it is best to look at training. If they only went up in one area on week 4, you should look at their week 5. If their week five did not have all areas up by one level, then you won't have a good chance of breeding a good horse. You can find this information in the horses remarks. Some breeders don't track their horses or train them. You shouldn't breed to these horses since you will have a weaker foal in most cases. If you struggle with funds and need more ebs, a good way is through trivia which is held every Sunday. You can find trivia information in the forums. If you place in trivia , you can win some ebs but even if you don't place, you have a chance to win some prizes such as broods and straws - usually from decent horses.
3) it is hard to capture a good horse. So just purchasing or winning brood auctions and buying straws are probably your best chance since it is hard to find solid mares and stallions for sale. Just make sure you look at tracking and training.
4) there are a ton of clubs out there for you to join. If you go to search>clubs you can search for breed specific clubs such as AA horses. I do have some AAs that I breed for both rating and color but I primarily do ISH and SH. Pm me if you need any help with anything!

Welcome back!
I'm not doing much on this account, but I have a few other better established accounts, so I'm hoping that some of my tips could be helpful!
.
Capturing: I would not suggest capturing AT ALL. Its purposely a money sink, and the chances of getting a good horse are extremely slim.
Showing: Because this is Horse Eden Eventing the "best" way to earn ebs is to show. I would suggest reading a few guides to get a better understanding. I really enjoyed this one :)
(The reason I said "best" is because showing is tricky until you've figured out a way that will work for you)
.
Breeding: Once you have a steady income, I would suggest buying EEE+ mares, with tracked training, and good foal production (foals should be EEE+)
.
Tracking Training: Tracking training is an essential part to breeding for ratings. It will determine their strengths and weaknesses so that they can be matched. It also increases their value. (If you need any help for tracking training, please PM me :)
.
Matching: For example, you have a mare that is low in Scope (Scp) but very Intelligent (Int)
You'll want to find a stud that is high in Scp, but may have a weakness in Int, so that they'll balance each other out. If you have trouble matching, I would suggest asking here: Click
.
Best of luck! <3
PM me if you need any more help :)
