@Angels, after spending so much money on vet bills trying to figure it out we finally just decided if the food works just to keep using it. It sucks it costs about $150/bag though and he doesn't like the taste so we have to use meal toppers.

That's one of my favorite thing about feeding raw is you literally choose the raw ingredients to put in it and I even switch up the main proteins sometimes to give variety. Ground Buffalo is his favorite

@Angels, he had chronic diarrhea and they thought he had inflammatory bowel disease, but his ultrasound came back negative. I think we tried a few different foods, but found a "cure" with Hill's Science Diet Biome.

Maybe if it is allergies you could switch to raw if that's an option. Maybe discuss it with your vet and if you decide to try it you can message me and I can send over all my research for the right ratios and what needs to be included :)

My dog is allergic to pork in the sense it makes his stomach upset.

My daughter's dogs are allergic to salmon, so the food she feeds them can't have any of that in it.

He doesn't have any other symptoms except licking himself a lot. He is on a prescription diet, so not sure changing foods can be done.

It could also be an allergy to some ingredient in his food. My dog mainly got hot spots from chicken in dog food. He isn't allergic to raw chicken, but he will get itchy if I put turkey in his raw food so I stay away from that

@Angels, I used to give him it, but stopped. Maybe I should try it again.

You can buy it super cheap in almost any store that has a pet section

If it is dry skin the best thing to do is give him salmon oil. My dog did start getting a bit dry skin once I started raw, but I put salmon oil in about a quarter of the month supply of his food and his skin is super healthy

My dog licks his paws and groin a lot and I wonder if it is from dry skin. He is going to the vet in two weeks so I will ask, but I wonder if I should be giving him a supplement of something.

He is a completely different dog

Hi everyone ! 😀
Just a little question, I bred a SH stallion with an SH mare, and got a PON filly. Is it normal ? 🤔

If they are short enough :D
It's really up to how short the Dam/Sire were :)

Any cross that results in a SH normally will result in a PON if the foal is 14.2 hands or under. It sounds like RF, stepped in a leaned more towards the sires height. I have a boy with 14.2H PON parents, and he is a 14.3H SH lol :P
