I got a KNN mare with no pattern but she's LpLp and I got a colt with no pattern but he's Lplp, the mare is a knn the colt is a sport horse. Is it just that she's a LpLp that makes the difference? Sorry for the silly question it's just I noticed it now at 3am but I'm also dead tired and can't think.

From the Game Guide: KNN sire X KNN dam = KNN foal IF a filly has LP or a colt has LP and PATN. If a foal doesn't meet these criteria, it will be a SH So if a filly/mare has Lplp OR LpLp it is KNN even without PATN, but a colt/stallion can be LpLp and still be a SH if it doesn't have PATN.
