So my husband just joined the game and I was going to gift him a nice little EWE mare as a Vday gift, but we keep getting the error message that horses can't be transferred between accounts? Not sure why it says that. Is it based off our IP or the fact we occasionally use the same computer?

It's based on internet(or something like that), not device. If you connect to a different wifi network(like at a library) it should count it as 2 separate accounts :)

Ahh I see. I thought it might be something like that. I'll give it a try again in a bit. Thanks!

I think that's if it's one player on 2 accounts. This is 2 players on 2 different accounts, who happen to live together. I believe since she's not sending the horse to her SA, but her husbands account, it'd be okay, but I'm not entirely sure :)

Honestly, I'd still be careful with it. It might still be against the rules as there is no clear way for mods to moderate horse transfers in the same household, since they have no real way to prove or disprove that it's two separate people.

This would be against the rules as shown under Cheating. 2. Don't transfer horses between your accounts or accounts in your household. Edited at February 15, 2024 02:58 PM by Coldwater Meadows
