Yes agreed- invest in barns for decently useful studs and plenty of mares and it pays for itself in no time

Yep, I have a barn 'Quest boys' for most of my homo studs (but my RbRb is retired as of now ☚ī¸)

I skip any fut, member show, fed, or HEWG quests, and I also just don't have the patience for mini games. I also don't particularly go for maps, they're cool, but i'm too lazy to sort the captures lmao

If you do quest I really recommend having your own quest studs. It has made it so easy with the breeding ones.

Yesss love the breeding ones! Those, crafting, fetch and explore are my main bulk, then I'll do the paddle one if it pops up when I'm on PC and I try to keep any brindles back that might be premium for that quest. Capture quests depend- I'll always do the 50 and I try and do the 25 with free passes if I build up enough. Then keep the wilds aside to rate them as and when they're useful

The breeding quests go rather fast (unless it's brindle) and right now I have 2 showing quests - one is more than half finished) and I also like the explore ones and some of the mini games I do anyway. The palomino P has been sitting in my log for a while. But it gives 8 +20 maps and I am not skipping that

I'm working on this piece, but I don't like the current result. I feel like something is missing, and the horse and the bg don't blend into one. Any tips on how can I turn this to one piece of art, instead a horse badly pasted on a bg pic, is appreciated.

maybe duplicate the backround, make it the top layer, blur so nothing in it is recognisable [blob of colour] and switch to either overlay or oft light depending on what suits then lower opacity or duplicate

aswell as that try feather selecting some of the backround and blurring a tad

Agree with Scarlett.

Blue the BG a little, then lasso the BG where the horse is galloping and sharpen it. Puts focus more on the horse rather then the BG.

Blur the farther stuff like the water and go to color balance and hue the horse to your preferance just don't go crazy!

I believe that the face marking is throwing off the piece.
Take the opacity down a bit and allow some of a creamier color to blend with the face. Also, I would take a peachier pink and use it more lightly for the muzzle and lastly, I would use a more jagged select to make it "tougher" and use my smudge tool to smudge little hairs into the marking around the edges

The roan as well is too harsh. It separates the head from the body too much. Try feathering a lot more

blur the background, increase a bit the contrast and play with lighting. maybe a bit of sharpening could help too

Overall, with the things mentioned above,

Its an awkward pose on an awkward background.
The background is using both warm and cool hues and even the more talented artists would struggle to flow this together as set up.

Thank you guys for all the help/advice. I'll work some more on it, or just drop it if it's too hard for me.
