Eyrie, this proves how complicated color theory is because the hair is actually grey XD

Mads I prefer the cold version since the horse is a cold color. Even the pink you used for the hair isn't super warm, so it meshes better with the subject.

Rat DD can be other patterns than the really bold one. It's just that variation can't be Dd.

And my personal preference is not to support breeding that can result in kittens dying or adults that can't walk/have issues controlling their bladder/intestines lol

So I need help repainting because if I find a stock that I love, it's usually not the correct color. Then I have to find another one because I don't know how to repaint. So please help if you can. Also I've had some issues with markings on a dark horse turning yellow. If you have any tips please do share

Depending on the program you use, you don't need to repaint for the color only. At least I've never repainted for color change, only for tack removal. What program are you using?

Uh well in this case I'm not helpful at all xD Sorry, I don't know how to work with color changes in Ibis, I never touched that program so I don't know what tools it has or how it behaves.

With IbisPaint, if I remember correctly, you can go to filters and unsaturate the horse. This will make it black/grey/white. Once you've done that you can color it with a color of your choice at 22% opacity. Some additional shadows/highlights may be necessary but that's how I used to repaint. Hope this helps :)

I know that Sunset repaints some (most) of her art, and she uses ibis Paint, so you could always ask her. :)
