It's hard to believe it's been 8 months since I did my first manip. It's an addiction, I swear. I've finally gotten to a point where I'm pretty happy with my last two pieces which means it's time to let other people rip them apart XD - Seriously though, please do give some critique and be as nitpicky as possible! I want to improve >:) - Both images are clicky so you can zoom in on the details.. canvas size is very variable since I just go with whatever the background is :P Edit: Looks like there will be a CCC (mini-rumble) coming up! I would love some input on what tier to sign up for :> Edited at October 22, 2024 05:48 PM by Bignus Bognus

I could barely find anything XD but the way the hair lays especially on the freisan, looks a little funky when it hits the ground, maybe work on the flow on the ground?

Thank you!! I see what you mean... I think I was too focused on trying to get it all in frame lol. I'll try looking at some references for next time <3

For rumble, T1 gets pretty competitive, so I would say you would 100% rock T2! I do agree with what dash said above. You can always add some multiply layers and go with the flow of the hair strands to imitate a fold in the tail! Everything else looks pretty damn good! Same with the feathers on the feet! :D I still struggle with that personally. 🤣 But everything else is absolutely stunning! Your lighting is gorgeous, your soft body prep is amazing! I love!! Edit to add, your grounding work is also absolutely stunning. 😍 I am obsessed! Edited at October 24, 2024 12:15 PM by Foggy Forest Stables

Okay, short update... I tried adjusting the tail & feathers on the friesian just with the mesh transform tool and some multiply layers like Foggy suggested (plus fiddled with the shadows from the leaves)... I know it's still not perfect but it is an improvement, no? :D I think I've got the "I wanna keep it" outta me so it'll be up for auction shortly <3 Edited at October 27, 2024 07:06 PM by Bignus Bognus
