Down-side to free breeding, the horses aren't 'matched', so the resulting foal probably won't have very good ratings.

so any mares and stallions that are of breeding age have the ability to breed together, and random babies can just be born (with the exception of mares that have already been bred that game year)

just remember that if you put mares and stallions in the same pasture, they can free breed, which can be a bit of an inconvenience xD

Yea, looks like most of the yearlings aren't Entered, as they don't have enough training just yet.

You could have the setting for the barn manager to only show them when they`re competitive on, :)

Ermm, so if I have my horses entered through the barn manager…and today I had them scheduled…why aren’t they entered in any shows?

I made this earlier. creds are listed at the top.
i'm wondering what tier it belongs in and what it's worth, as I planned on auctioning/selling it after I got permission from the person who drew the horse. any ideas?

Always make sure to get permission before posting in here, as a lot of artists aren't okay with their art being used in SIM games <3
.
The best way to figure out a worth on a piece of art is to auction it. Before placing yourself in a tier, auctioning multiple pieces of art will give you a general range that people are willing to pay. Since it is regarding lineart, I can't give you a solid amount to expect as it varies widely. I'd recommend making a SB for 10k and not putting an AB to see how high up it goes.
.
Depending on amount and how comfortable you are with varying aspects of art (coats, patterns, hair, etc.), will be what ultimately places you in a tier.

thank you. I asked for the artists permission to sell it and they gave me permission. their rules didn't say anything about using it in sim games so I asked. i've definitely improved and i'd like to start making more art pieces as practice/for profit.

Go for it! One of the joys of art is to be able to explore and learn new things. Auction stuff, see what people like with your style. :)
